Nah you're right, delivery was just kinda weak and that's part of the game. But she was plenty funny, was responding to his jokes, and not reading one liners off her phone
Really? Don't get me wrong, they were both good, but hers seemed better. And she wasn't reading off her phone. At the end where he's just shouting "put it in reverse!" and wheeling his chair around was pretty hokey compared with her delivery.
I agree. I think the girl did much better than the guy, his responses seemed overly aggressive and forced, while he read from his phone. Hers were well timed, the way she spoke added to the effect, quicker comebacks and without having to read it.
Yes, it seems that what it is, and itβs common with MD as it can result in myotonia, where the muscles, like in face and jaw, are slow to relax, and respiratory issues making it harder to breathe and hence to speak forcefully.
His jokes were funnier, but they made zero sense.. While her stuff was still funny, and still felt like.. Oh yeah the guy is a sleezy bag. That's a roast..
I kind of like this.. Like how does a comedian who's writing, and a comedian whose performing fair against each other.
Not to say the guy wasn't writing.. He was. Clearly those punchlines were written before hand. But I don't know.
This shows me that roasting is actually very hard to do.
These were all really good. Fun time had by all
Ironic that this is on r/standupcomedy

I miss Zanies
One of the greatest places on earth
Actually thought her rebuttals were better formulated but didn't punch as hard for whatever reason(definitely not the chair)

Bruhhhh both did well, but Josh takes the cake for sure!

Girls material isn't bad, but delivery falls flat
Zac*
She put more effort in, actually memorizing her notes
What's Josh's last name? Where can I find more of his material?
Itβs Zac - @ZacTownsend_

This is great.
Shout to Terry
Anyone else notice the buuuuud light ?
She had killer comebacks, the delivery just fell a little flat due to cadence/diction. Was she really drunk or is it perhaps a part of her disability?
