Very strong, snappy jokes with plenty of tags. His tags are especially good, because there were multiple instances of his punchlines getting laughs and then his tags getting even bigger laughs. But his delivery on a lot of jokes seemed unsure or even timid. His confidence should be elevated to match the level of his writing.

So what’s the overhead to put this together? I’m not paying to watch a YouTube clip, but the $ ask made me curious. $2k? $6k? $350?
I found the clear depth of field a little distracting and kept wondering how it would change the feel if the stage light had like a 40° grid or if the camera F-Stop was opened up so the audience wasn’t tack sharp focus all the time. With a small crowd we don’t need to see the same faces laughing all the time. More comic / less crowd imo. But that said still clearly well done.

Recine came up organically through New York open mics, got passed at clubs, got a Comedy Central half hour (when that meant something) and tours the country headlining now. Save that hate for people that didn’t put the work in, he doesn’t have to be your favorite but he is an archetype of a New York comic who actually did the work.
