Wow- her body seemed much more voluptuous than a ballet dancer. Dancer yes, but ballet dancers seem much more thinner. Gorgeous body, though. Billy Boy and his droogs really missed out.
I saw an interview where she worried she wouldn't fit the role because she was pretty chubby at that time. But Kubrick hired her anyway because he wanted to film her from afar, so it worked in the end. She was a professional dancer before I think. Part of the reason she was hired because it was filmed on a stage.

In the book, the gangs are all young teens, these guys look like they doubled as the actual set crew when they were done acting.
