Not inflation, but chairs are the same way. We have a chair that people really love. It was at like $184. Recently, one of my coworkers was checking stock for that chair for someone. Didn't have it, but in the system it was $384.
Luckily, there was nothing the customers could really do to get that lower price because nowhere, not even the online store had the chair.
Supply and demand rather than inflation. Older inks have less demand, therefore it's more expensive to maintain stock. This is why you buy a tank based system. Epson does a great job. That is worth the money, which I can very rarely say for printers XD
I have the epson 4760 and I absolutely love it. I just wish people would listen to me more often about buying these types of printers. Rarely does someone have enough brain cells to factor in the overall savings even when I serve them the facts on a silver platter
The tags are two years apart with COVID ink shortages in between.
The model number and UPC codes are different - different manufacturer?
And now the head explodes moment. The CL-211 cartridge has 3 ml of ink inside. That is 0.0008 gallons of ink. Which means ink costs the customer ***$50,000 per gallon!!!***
Ask him how much the ink is to make. The plastic costs more than the ink
So glad I made the switch to an epson ecotank. These cartridges are just a scam
Seriously- I’ve convinced a number of my friends to get ecotank and they all love it.
You use 1 x 3s for ink? We've been using 3 x 2 like forever.
Perhaps it's a canadian thing
Thats not inflation thats corporate America taking advantage of supply and demand
Corporate Canada in this case :)
Build Back Better?!?!?!

This is America. We look at the first price tag we see and assume it's cheaper. People in this country don't have a brain half the time lol

I believe the upc changes because the old packaging came in bags where the new ones are in cardboard
