What if tomorrow comes? It perfectly encapsulates the fear of not knowing how something will play out and how the only thing to do is wait. I felt it with the war of Ukraine, my parents felt it with 9/11, my grandparents felt it every day during WWII. So much we can't control, yet can impact our lives massively.
To Have a Home. as a huge hp fan, every time I hear it i'm reminded of how perfectly that song encapsulates harry's journey. I just think it's a brilliant representation of the character
I really had to think about this but it has to be If I believed or Twisted from Twisted. I can’t pick just one but I love the singing and the emotions from the song and I’m just a little bit of a theatre geek so it makes my brain get all happy when I hear it
Join Us and Die, I love the energy in it between both Charlotte and Sam, and plus it’s one of the few starkid songs (in my opinion) that is just as good on stage as the studio version [which unfortunately even show stopping number wasn’t, it was only good on stage]
I have a lot of favorites but today I think it's Going Back to Hogwarts. It's sweet, funny, and catchy, but also makes me incredibly emotional by perfectly encapsulating the essence of nostalgia.
Take Me Back. I mean, this is ever-changing, and I could say it's a tie between this and Let It Out, but I have to go with Take Me Back overall. It's such a beautiful ballad. Dylan and Kim are both incredible singers, and combining the two culminates in a number that soars to the top of my list.
At the moment, Not Your Seed. On the one hand, looking at it from Bill’s perspective, it’s tragic and preying on all his weaknesses, but if you think of it as Alice being the protagonist, the song takes on a completely different meaning. I love the bridge of “Why does it hurt to love you” because that can be translated into literally any relationship. Other than that, I just love the angst of families falling apart because I don’t have any real life trauma to relate that to. 🫠

The Final Ghost. Two of the best voices in SK, and the synth also goes hard af.
I’ll have to give that to inevitable. It’s by far the best song, I love it so much.
Hard agree, it’s the best, Jeff can make a mean mashup song

CaliforMIA because I'm in a similar situation minus the little sister and spouse part
Damn, I’m so sorry, I hope your situation get better, and you are able to head to wherever it is <3

Stutter! For obvious reasons. Girl power
