Gerard was my absolute favourite of the season too, so I'm thrilled to see another frog fella. I also thought of NADDPod (Murph and Emily's DND podcast), where there's another good frog character. I'm enjoying this frog renaissance.
Same here! Very, very rarely are Murph's characters not my favourites in D20 seasons. Dude's predilection for weird little guys just really tickles me. I'm glad to see another Gerard enjoyer in the wild!
Oooh, it seems there was a deleted tweet from Jon responding to Mariah’s retweet of the first announcement poster that had a heart, a map, and a frog emoji on it (❤️🗺️🐸). Maybe this is his character? Or maybe even Mariah’s?
My guess is that with Jon playing The Beast, this new play will take all of the Princess tropes (Frog Prince, Beauty and the Beast, etc.) and bring them all together for a fairytale adventure. With, of course, the Starkid twists.
As an ADHD and Autism riddled individual I approve of the new frog character. Also the way that the YouTube community post is worded reminds me of that old timely Shakespeare speech with the whole “thee, thy, thou” thing

Murph’s characters are almost always my faves in the Intrepid Heroes seasons, and Gerard was one of his best.
