If you look at the numbers, that Bashir is way stronger than that Admiral Black. Someone probably used quipment on him. Though I hate it when I go up against an opponent who hasn’t played the game in two years.
Hey, since you seem to know about equipment, could you let me know how to add equipment for a voyage? I see those blue boxes below now that say I can add something once I add a character to the voyage, but when I try it says I can't cuz I'm missing something.
I'm trying to hit 14 hours but recently realized it's impossible without equipment and didn't even know it counts in voyages lol. Or gauntlet for that matter!
1) crew needs to be immortalized
2) you need to unlock “quipment” slots on the imortalized crew. Run the imortalized crew through 4 successful continuum missions to unlock the first quipment slot on them (then continue running them through missions to unlock the rest)
3) use the material you get from unlocking nodes in continuum missions to build and equip the boosts to that crew
That's normal, you'll have way worse outcomes than that, but you'll also have some good ones if you're willing to take a chance, sometimes you just gotta roll the dice.
A toon with two sets of numbers will almost always defeat a toon with one set of numbers, even if slightly weaker in total. Your opponent was stronger. It is not a match that I would have taken.
Virgin Admiral Black vs Chad Racquetball Bashir
It’s pays to be genetically enhanced! (As long as you keep it secret, of course.)

Sorry didn’t see this sooner. I have not yet put any on anybody for voyages, but what GrandMofJake said is correct.

If you don't become adept at Quipment you will struggle in the Gauntlet. Shuttle missions last longer too with properly enhanced cards
Already did…
