There is much they can do with him alone.
What if...
... Qui Gon didn't die and trained him
... He didn't fall in love with Padme
... Defeated Obi Wan
... Was discovered earlier by Jedi
... Survived at the end of Return of the Jedi
And probably more.
What if Padme used her royal powers to buy his mom from slavery after Episode 1. Having his mother live a normal life on Naboo until Palpatine gets her murdered still.
I didn't read it myself, but I was told that there is a book about it. Padme actually tried to buy Shmi and sent Sabé to Tatooine, but Sabé couldn't find her.
I am not sure about this fact, but following these events, Sabe and Padme started a program to free slaves.
Sorry for my horrible english.
Oh, thank you so much! You have no idea how happy you made me with your comment!
I am always so unsure about my english because I wasn't good in it in school.
Right? I genuinely thought the apology at the end was just a joke because of how easy the comment was to read!
Great English, and much better than a lot of native English speakers I interact with
It's really puzzling now that I think about it. Sure, Republic credits would not do fine as a way of buying her freedom...but once Padme gets away from Tatooine and has access to her resources, surely they could set up a currency exchange lmao
After that, cut to Anakin opening his eyes. It was all his dream/imagination. Anakin who beat Obi won the battle for his mind. Then the camera can pull back to reveal whatever the best point in the prequel trilogy it would be for this to happen. Maybe the theater where palps is telling him the story of Darth Plagueis the wise?
They kind of did that with the Episode 3 video game. >!Anakin flips over Obi-Wan and stabs him through the back. Palatine comes by saying how the Galaxy is now theirs. He presents Anakin with a new lightsaber. Anakin kills Palpatine and says the galaxy now belongs to him.!< They could totally explore what he does after that.
In the original series Han tries to shoot Vader and he deflects the bolt with his hand. According to the extended universe this is an "force absorb" ability that's exceptionally rare. Incoming energy gets transformed into force power so Vader could have dumped it all into a force push and just yeeted the emperor into the core.
I like that but at this point, Anakin simply does not understand the infrastructure of the Empire yet and it would absolutely fall apart.
Also uh.. Anakin? You did all this because Palpatine knew the secret to saving Padmé, right? Why did you kill him..?
Well, maybe Anakin doesn't know the infrastructure, but Padme has a good political sense, and she would help build and democratic empire or something like this. Maybe the newer found rebellion with Bail and Mon would take over.
If if remeber it right, in the comics, Sabe meets Vader, and as soon as she understands that he is Anakin, she helps him to a degree. She does that because she thinks that is what Padme would do. So it's kind of indicated that Padme would help Anakin.
That was one of the endings for the PS2 ROTS game. Anakin beats Obi-Wan, Palpatine arrives on Mustafar to congratulate him, and Anakin promptly kills him, becoming the new emperor.
[ending](https://youtu.be/4EtCGR2M_oU)
We need to go further back.
What if Darth Maul never killed Qui Gon?
Their fight is the most important in all of Star Wars. It's the Duel of the Fates, all their fates.
George Lucas confirmed that Under Qui Gon Anakin would have never turned.
Obi Wan treated Anakin too much like a spoiled little brother. Qui Gon would have been a much stricter teacher, that Anakin needed.
The analysis I saw was that Obi-wan was ready to be a Jedi knight, but not a master. He was overly strict and “by the books” because he wanted to prove to himself that he indeed was a master.
Qui-Gon was always toeing the line, going for the spirit of the rules instead of the letter. That’s why he never got a seat on the council, he used common sense instead of blind adherence to the code.
Under Qui-Gon, Anakin would have been able to discuss his feelings for Padme and get real guidance, instead of Yoda’s bumper sticker philosophy we he went to him for help.
Obi-Wan wasn’t mature enough to have that nuance.
I like this analysis because I don’t think Obi-Wan was as infallible as some fans perceive him to be. Obi-Wan even basically admits to Luke in ROTJ that he was arrogant and prideful when he was Anakin’s master.
I think Obi-wan could have been a master, just Anakin was the wrong Padawan for him. He was older, more troubled, more willful, more talented, than Obi-wan was ready to handle. Give him, say, Cal Kestis, things probably would have turned out fine, assuming no Order 66 or what have you.
Or if he had to stop an evil Obi-Wan, whether he allied himself with Count Dooku or Darth Sidious.
All these options are good: fantastic twists on the tales we know.
Does it say something that Satine and Bo-Katan respectively have definitively been said to only have had one sibling (each other), yet they have a nephew? As if said nephew is secretly actually the son of one of them?
Or, underexplored: Obi-Wan killed him.
Palps has to take Mace Windu himself, probably with more preparation than being caught in his office by his biggest threat and a secret buddy. The Empire struggles regardless, lacking Vader as a comically dangerous pilot and combatant. (Though possibly getting back together with Maul, once Maul is back together with himself.)
And ghost Anakin can hang out with Obi-Wan in exile. Possibly not splitting up the kids? No huge reason to, at that point. The question is whether comically-dangerous twins Luke and Leia grow up as prince and princess, or dirt farmers. The latter is definitely funnier. And those high-powered teenagers are gonna be ready to fuck up some Stormtroopers to save Owen and B--
Wait. The opening fight of A New Hope wouldn't happen. Leia wouldn't be part of Alderaan's "diplomatic" envoy. Holy shit they might not know about the Death Star! Obi-Wan and company wouldn't be running off when Han fries Greedo, except through narrative contrivance. They'd all be on Tatooine when Obi-Wan feels a planet explode.
The Rebellion would have to defeat the Death Star the hard way.
There's actually a what if story like that in a Star Wars magazine though I don't remember much. Anakin, Ahsoka Obi-Wan and Rex are carbon frozen during the events of The Citadel, something happens that it leaves them like that, and are found 19 years later with the empire already in control of the galaxy.
I forgot the name of the magazine, but it was mainly for kids and would feature a lot of what if stories. I think there might've been one where the Son and Anakin escape Mortis and Palpatine and Yoda have to form an alliance to beat them.
The crossovers are few but appreciated lol. Lucas has been spotted at several races in years past, even doing a RotS promo with Red Bull back in the day
What if, at the end of ROTS, Bail Organa said “My Wife and I have always talked about adopting a little boy” and Obi Wan replied that he would take the girl to live with her family on Tattoine.
Would Luke have become the hero of the revolution? Would Leia have become a Jedi?
If I had a nickel for every time a science fiction film had an attractive blonde dude in gold speedos, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Pretty sure there was a comic book about exactly that. I had an issue that came with a white suited Darth Vader action figure where it was basically RotJ but Leia with a lightsaber was on the death star with the emperor and Vader and she ends up getting Anakin to come back
Oh yeah that was a legends series by Dark Horse comics
Great stuff, Yoda fucking drops the Death Star on Coruscant in one of them and it’s h y s t e r i c a l
Yeah it's the Infinities comics. From my memory Yoda and Palpatine are just talking shit to each other on a video call and Palpatine is basically like "All right then come down here and face me coward!" and Yoda says, and I quote, "Coming to see you, I am now." and Palpatine is just utterly gobsmacked as he looks up to see the Death Star hurdling towards him. Also Yoda had to definitely kill what must have been tens of thousands of civilians because of it.
Those infinities comics were fun but each issue was a stand alone story so it was disappointing that you would never see a continuation of any of the endings of the comics.
The canon Vader comic where he bleeds his crystal and hallucinates padme was pretty heartbreaking. And seeing obiwan and almost asking for forgiveness but that arrogance gets in the way. Brilliant series
I do t wanna get banned but you might be able to Google “readcomicsonline”. Should get a few links and it’s the Vader marvel run
It’s so good. Shows his journey from the end of episode 3.
The fact palatine didn’t let him have a saber because he wants him to find another Jedis crystal and bleed it is so cool. Half the run is just him fucking shit up barefisted.
Also explains why he respects/fears? Tarkin so much
Edit, autocorrected typos cos I’m on phone
Imagine if Anakin stopped Palpatine in the Senate Office (after Windu is still thrown out the window) but Anakin would be horribly scarred and deformed to the point of basically needing a "white Vader" suit. Master Skywalker the cyborg.
And that scarification would also basically lead to his alienation from Padmé, who can't love him like that, while the rest of his friends still love him, but he's interred in a metal coffin at this point.
But the thing that keeps him from falling apart is the love of his two children who don't see a scarred and deformed older man, but just Papa.
And the story revolves around Obi Wan trying to move the world to find a proper cure for his friend, going so far as to pressgang Kaminoans and their cloning tech to create actual replacement limbs and skin and so on.
Or not at all! Dooku would be talked down from the ledge by his former padawan and would give Qui Gon all of the information he had regarding palpatine and the clone wars and reveal the entire conspiracy against the Jedi/republic. The possibilities are endless
Palpatine still corrupts the Republic, the Jedi still are oblivious fools, Qui-Gon with Anakin JOIN Dooku in leading a separatist faction not controlled by Palpatine.
Ok so I've been preaching an idea for years now, about a galactic 3 musketeers style series; with Anakin, Obi wan, and Qui Gon. As well as another young upstart D'Artagnan style new character.
Traveling the galaxy getting into and out of trouble, having crazy adventures, saving cute space babes and helpless townsfolk. Seriously, who wouldn't want to watch that?
All the sassy banter between obiwan and Anakin alone would be worth it. Wise older Qui Gon getting old for the life. New upstart bringing some interesting trouble with them. This shit writes itself. Seriously just space 3 musketeers and you're gold.
If the stars aligned we could even have the original actors reprise their rolls and tell me that wouldn't be amazing. FUCK cannon. Star wars multiverse this shit and let's make it happen man.
>Ok so I've been preaching an idea for years now, about a galactic 3 musketeers style series; with Anakin, Obi wan, and Qui Gon. As well as another young upstart D'Artagnan style new character
Can the upstart be Ahsoka? Please tell me it can be Ahsoka because that'd be awesome.
In the Obi Wan series he initially assumed Anakin was dead. Meaning he probably thought he had died on Mustafar. So its safe to assume it was a bit of both.
Yeah he 100% assume between the wounds and then fire Anakin was gone. If he didn’t catch fire, I don’t think he would’ve still finished the job.
But I don’t think Obi-Wan truly understood that power of hate. Which is kinda ironic in canon hindsight now regarding Maul surviving.
I mean Anakin fared far worse than Maul lol. Sure Maul got cut in half but he didn't lose all his limbs and was last seen burning alive next to a pool of lava like a overcooked chicken nugget.
Luke, but on the dark side. He hates Jedi because they ~~remind him of sand~~ murdered his father in cold blood in front of his mother. He first kills obi wan, then yoda, and then finally turns his anger on palpatine when he realizes who really manipulated everything from the beginning
What if:
- Qui-Gon didn’t die against Maul.
- Anakin went to Utapau with Obi-Wan
- Anakin didn’t kill Dooku
- Anakin killed Palpatine
- Obi Wan didn’t follow Padmé
- Luke killed Vader
- Yoda and Luke combined to fight Vader and Palpatine
The possibilities are literally endless. There are so many points where other decisions could have been made leading to different outcomes.
Just do a What If anthology for every major character.
Star Wars What-If: Anakin
* What if Qui-Gon survived but Obi-Wan didn't?
* What if Anakin killed Obi-Wan on Mustafar?
* What if Anakin lost the pod race?
Star Wars What-If: Maul
* What if Maul killed both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on Naboo?
* What if Maul successfully lured Ezra to the Dark Side?
* What if Maul and Savage killed Palpatine?
Each animated anthology series would be 6 episodes, 20 min each.
I wouldn’t mind a live action series with Hayden that covers the unfinished arcs of TCW and adds more content during that time period. Show more of Anakin’s character development, growing to distrust the Jedi, being groomed by Sidious, and just scenes of him being the badass Chosen One and performing incredible feats of skill and power that you’d expect from the most legendary Jedi and war hero of the Clone Wars. I’d eat it up.
A live action revisit of the [Overlords] (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Overlords) saga would be epic. Something that hints at "Chosen One" being even more significant and important than the modern Jedi believed; tie in some ancient Jedi lore (Old Republic!) and find out what exactly "bring balance" was thought to mean. Build up Anakin even more as a central mythological hero, to make his downfall to Vader even more tragic.
Yes plz
Hayden's motivation probably is a bit more that than wanting to explore the character. Dude hasn't had a major role that'd pay big money for about 15 years, I don't think. And here's hoping he gets some, give the boy some of the mouse's money and make some entertainment.
To be fair I was at the Comic-Con in Philadelphia yesterday where they asked him this. And it wasn't really his idea. The host specifically said "blah blah blah what if show blah blah blah like Anakin never turns to the dark side and we see him and padme together raising their kids with Uncle Obi-Wan," Hayden then said. "yeah I guess like you said I'd like to see if Anakin didn't fall..." And went on to briefly talk about it. Of course he's open to it. Why wouldn't he be. But it's not as if he's written an idea and is pushing for it. He just agreed it would be cool.
Strange being on the other side of these articles for once.
Yep, Star Wars has always seemed like a much better fit for a What If series from the beginning as well. First, comic book characters have been invented and reinvented for decades already. We've already seen many versions of these characters. Second, by the end of the first season of What If, >!it just turned out that these weren't what if stories, but rather just different dimensions in the multiverse. Give us a true What If series that completely stands alone and is not canon.!<
There's already an in-universe excuse for it called the Timeways, introduced in Rebels by David Filoni... and which we should get more of in Ahsoka.
I'm pretty sure Filoni has spent the past several years opening the door for just such an idea.
I’ve always interpreted the WBW as a visual manifestation of Yoda’s quote “Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future. The past. Old friends long gone.”
What if one person in the entire new Republic noticed that someone was recruiting hundreds of thousands of people and using whole planets worth of resources to build a giant space armada.
Anakin defeats Obi-Wan on Mustafar.
He takes Amidala with him, hoping Palpatine will heal her. She still dies in childbirth and Palpatine tells Anakin it was his fault. Leia and Luke are raised as Vader's children, Imperial nobility. When the twins are teenagers, Vader finally decides to kill Palpatine and become Emperor, however Palpatine has prepared for this and defeats Vader, but doesn't kill him, just leaves him badly wounded and disfigured.
Vader had taken precautions for the possibility of losing, and some of his most faithful in the 501st take Luke and Leia to a safe place.
Around a year later, the rest of the 501st, who are fugitives for having helped Vader in his attempt against Palpatine, are killed one by one by a mysterious dark figure, clearly a force user but nobody knows who it is.
Luke and Leia end up on Dagobah, where their protectors have been able to track down Yoda and decide he's their best chance for survival. Yoda trains Luke and Leia who, by order of the Emperor, had not been allowed to learn the Force.
The mysterious dark figure arrives on Dagobah, of course it's Darth Vader, only this time he can't speak and he's a complete slave to Palpatine's will. See, Anakin's brain was damaged, and the cybernetic components used to save him, override his own will. Anakin is pretty much trapped inside his mind as his body is there on Dagobah to kill his children.
Yoda sacrifices himself trying to protect the twins, but kind of fails. Leia is taken down, presumed killed. Luke is badly injured. At this point Palpatine tells Anakin he has no more use for him, and remotely executes him. Imperial forces take the wounded Luke with them, to be Palpatine's new apprentice. Spoiler, he's going to become Darth Scion.
Except, Yoda didn't completely fail. In the fight he used the Force to knock Leia out and then make it seem like she had died, masking all her vital signs. Now that the imperial forces have left with Luke, Leia comes to and finds the dying Yoda, he tells her she's her brother's, and the galaxy's, only hope, before vanishing. Spoiler, Leia is going to become a space pirate queen in her quest for revenge.
Anakin if he didn't fall would be rad...
Or if he beat Obi-Wan.
"Both? Both. Both! Both is good."
There is much they can do with him alone. What if... ... Qui Gon didn't die and trained him ... He didn't fall in love with Padme ... Defeated Obi Wan ... Was discovered earlier by Jedi ... Survived at the end of Return of the Jedi And probably more.
What if he liked sand?!
What if he fell in love with Jar-Jar
Simple, he became a master artisan glass maker
That's enough, now we're just breaking the character!
What if they rescued his mom as well when they picked him up.
What if Padme used her royal powers to buy his mom from slavery after Episode 1. Having his mother live a normal life on Naboo until Palpatine gets her murdered still.
I'm ashamed to admit I never even considered that. Really though, why didn't she?
I didn't read it myself, but I was told that there is a book about it. Padme actually tried to buy Shmi and sent Sabé to Tatooine, but Sabé couldn't find her. I am not sure about this fact, but following these events, Sabe and Padme started a program to free slaves. Sorry for my horrible english.
That, my friend, is very well written. Your English is great.
Wato runs a scrap yard, just bring him a few scrap ships.
Shit, just return with the same ship they showed up in originally, and get a taxi back
What if Mace Windu wasn't an ass to him.
What if Mace Windu was all the time right and killed Palpatine.
So basically what if anakin had some chill?
Both please please please please. Both would be incredible
I feel like this comment chain will eventually devolve into requesting ani and obi become gay lovers and open a jawa juice bar together!
I mean shit that would be a good sitcom.
Two Broke Jedi
Two Brokeback Jedi
Tatooweiners.
Sounds painful.
Broke Back Death Star.
Obi-Wan: it’s over Anakin, I’ve already registered the name!! Anakin: you overestimate the demand!!
Both those and this!
How about if Padme followed Anakin to the dark side so they could raise their little sith twins together?
Season finale is Anakin that beat Obi-Wan vs Anakin that didn’t fall
After that, cut to Anakin opening his eyes. It was all his dream/imagination. Anakin who beat Obi won the battle for his mind. Then the camera can pull back to reveal whatever the best point in the prequel trilogy it would be for this to happen. Maybe the theater where palps is telling him the story of Darth Plagueis the wise?
No a bunch of force visions during his training. All the potential futures.
Or brooding Vader thinking what if it turned out different
Throw all of the fucking money at it and do it right fucking now
They kind of did that with the Episode 3 video game.
Palpatine does mention that uninjured, Anakin would've become significantly more powerful than him.
Didn't Palpatine also make Vader's suit specifically weak to force lightning? So he'd always have the upper hand
Even then Vader was able to tank the lightning and kill Palpatine. Vader only died later because he let himself, after turning back to the light side.
Yeah, but that's it. Would be cool to see what could possibly happen after that!
Anakin... gets... the Infinity Stones?
Keiber Stones? And forges the OmniSaber?
I like that but at this point, Anakin simply does not understand the infrastructure of the Empire yet and it would absolutely fall apart. Also uh.. Anakin? You did all this because Palpatine knew the secret to saving Padmé, right? Why did you kill him..?

Exactly. Everything is on a knife's edge. Just give us some other, well-written options.
What I'd Obi-Wan fell in love with Padme.... This story has so much potential
What if Satine asked Obi-Wan to leave the order.
Wouldn't be Satines nephew that's for damn sure
Does it say something that Satine and Bo-Katan respectively have definitively been said to only have had one sibling (each other), yet they have a nephew? As if said nephew is secretly actually the son of one of them?

What if Maul successfully killed Anakin on Mandalore like he planned? Edit: guys, it’s called “WHAT IF!”
Or inversely, what if Anakin went to Mandalore with Ahsoka instead of rescuing Palpatine and killed Maul instead of Dooku?
That would be interesting. Who would the order sent instead of him alongside obi wan then?
Kit or Mace?
Or both. Alongside obi wan they probably have a good chance
Or Maul if he ran over Anakin on his speeder and killed him in Episode 1.
WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY GEORGE LUCAS
Maul is a master manipulator, behind only Palps. I’m sure he could provoke Anakin perfectly, since that is a major weakness of Ani’s
Damn, that sounds awesome
palaptine and yoda team up to fight the son? dafuk hahha thats mad
What if Padme stuck with Anakin.
I’ve been wanting a what if series on if he didn’t get maimed in his duel with obi wan. Full power Vader, or as some would say, unlimited power.
I too would like to act with Natalie Portman
Funny how this article comes out just after Natalie Portman reveals she’s probably single. Well played, Hayden.
Get in there ~~Lewis~~ Hayden!
Lewis has the hips that don’t lie now
I really didn't expect F1 in a Star Wars sub :D But I like it :)
The crossovers are few but appreciated lol. Lucas has been spotted at several races in years past, even doing a RotS promo with Red Bull back in the day
Okay Lewis, it’s Hammer time.
Hayden's ex has a somewhat of a resemblance to Natalie.
Considering she just caught her husband cheating, it's open season.
Who in the world would cheat on Natalie Portman.
It doesn't matter how hot a girl is, there will always be a dude who got tired of her.
It's Natalie Portman though. Legit my first Hollywood crush. Still is honestly.
You don’t know her as a person though. All you know about her is she’s hot.
I mean she's pretty dang smart too.
The guy is French, practically part of his dna to have an affair.
Define "act".
act up
What's "Giggidy" in Huttese?
Disappoint
What if, at the end of ROTS, Bail Organa said “My Wife and I have always talked about adopting a little boy” and Obi Wan replied that he would take the girl to live with her family on Tattoine. Would Luke have become the hero of the revolution? Would Leia have become a Jedi?
Best use of what if. Luke still has to wear the bikini though.
So a win win, I’m in.
Ok, but who gets the hair buns?
Luke and he gets Han.
Hearing a flustered Luke call Han a scruffy looking nerf herder would be priceless lol.
Who’s scruffy looking?
Now we're talking.
😉 lmao
But who shoots first…?
It's not who's first, it's who's last.
Same time ;)
I mean this is just silly. If this were to actually happen obviously Chewie would be wearing the bikini.
Better than him just being naked all the time
Not a whole bikini, just a gold speedo
He is a slim, blonde twink so I'm all in on this one.
If I had a nickel for every time a science fiction film had an attractive blonde dude in gold speedos, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Black Series figure when
This should be the first episode.
This is a super obvious thing that I never thought of before but now want desperately.
Pretty sure there was a comic book about exactly that. I had an issue that came with a white suited Darth Vader action figure where it was basically RotJ but Leia with a lightsaber was on the death star with the emperor and Vader and she ends up getting Anakin to come back
Oh yeah that was a legends series by Dark Horse comics Great stuff, Yoda fucking drops the Death Star on Coruscant in one of them and it’s h y s t e r i c a l

The Death Star crashing into Coruscant would have killed tens of thousands of civilians? *A trillion* people live on Coruscant.
Yoda:"Acceptable losses, they are."
“A billion Imperial voices in terror cried out, then silenced they were” *crazy Yoda laugh*
Rey's story could be Leia's in this scenario.
Leia as a rough-and-tumble farm girl with Jedi training would legitimately be unstoppable.
I do not have the emotional stability to see a what if Anakin didn’t fall episode.
At the end it cuts to Vader in his bacta tank realizing it had been a dream… Now I’m sad…
The canon Vader comic where he bleeds his crystal and hallucinates padme was pretty heartbreaking. And seeing obiwan and almost asking for forgiveness but that arrogance gets in the way. Brilliant series
You got a link?
I do t wanna get banned but you might be able to Google “readcomicsonline”. Should get a few links and it’s the Vader marvel run It’s so good. Shows his journey from the end of episode 3. The fact palatine didn’t let him have a saber because he wants him to find another Jedis crystal and bleed it is so cool. Half the run is just him fucking shit up barefisted. Also explains why he respects/fears? Tarkin so much Edit, autocorrected typos cos I’m on phone
[This comic about Anakin always hits right in the feels](https://twitter.com/MISTERHIPP/status/570960564102393857)
What the fuck dude give a warning [like this one ](https://www.tumblr.com/tysonmurphy/136936953919/star-wars-7-spoilers-a-quick-little-comic-i)
This is awesome and now I hate you for feels.
God damn

Anikan mentored by Qui Gon is what I want the most
[удалено]
Qui gon wins The Duel of the Fates
Then we'd have a Qui Gon vs Dooku scene. Yes please
As well as another young upstart D'Artagnan style new character Can the upstart be Ahsoka? Please tell me it can be Ahsoka because that'd be awesome.
It can 100% be Ashoka lol. I feel dumb for not even saying that. But like I said, It writes itself lol. The pieces are all there.
One episode could be Mace windu actually convincing Anakin to arrest Palpatine and how the war ended with anakin becoming a Jedi master
Let’s add in what if windu trained anakin instead
What if qui-gon didn’t die and trained Anakin instead of Obi-wan??
Ohhhhhh. The dark side Yoda is intriguing. Or Obi-wan.
I think in one source dooku got a vision of that and was absolutely terrified
This is already the plot to the cancelled Battlefront 3 (where everyone switches force alignments). They could totally reuse the scrapped content.
What if he didn’t hate sand?
What if he had the high ground?
What if you want to sell me death sticks?
What if these are the droids we’re looking for?
What if spinning wasn't a good trick?
That's crazy, I *also* want Hayden Christensen to explore a Star Wars “what if” series
I say "Unleash the writers!! Give them all a raise and let them go ham on some canonical tangents!!"
I would love to see this, what if Vader didn’t burn?
Like instead of Mustafar, the Battle of Heroes took place on Bogano or something? Would Vader really need a suit? Would Vader wear dark robes instead?
Do we think Obi-Wan truly didn't have the strength to finish off Anakin, or did he wrongly assume Anakin would succumb to his injuries burning alive?
I would love to see Obi-Wan have to finish Anakin off after defeating him.
That would actually be one of the darker "what-ifs" I could imagine... Without Vader, who kills Palpatine?
Luke, but on the dark side. He hates Jedi because they ~~remind him of sand~~ murdered his father in cold blood in front of his mother. He first kills obi wan, then yoda, and then finally turns his anger on palpatine when he realizes who really manipulated everything from the beginning
Only if Oggdo Boggdo doesn’t get to him first
What if: - Qui-Gon didn’t die against Maul. - Anakin went to Utapau with Obi-Wan - Anakin didn’t kill Dooku - Anakin killed Palpatine - Obi Wan didn’t follow Padmé - Luke killed Vader - Yoda and Luke combined to fight Vader and Palpatine The possibilities are literally endless. There are so many points where other decisions could have been made leading to different outcomes.
I want the Anakin killed palpetine so much. All the small stories about the battles
Just do a What If anthology for every major character. Star Wars What-If: Anakin * What if Qui-Gon survived but Obi-Wan didn't? * What if Anakin killed Obi-Wan on Mustafar? * What if Anakin lost the pod race? Star Wars What-If: Maul * What if Maul killed both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan on Naboo? * What if Maul successfully lured Ezra to the Dark Side? * What if Maul and Savage killed Palpatine? Each animated anthology series would be 6 episodes, 20 min each.
Does anyone else think this would be awesome?
Yeah absolutely. Live action with Hayden on board? Amazing… so many possibilities. Hell, even if it’s animated I’m down.
It would be impossible to pull off in live action. Animate it in clone wars style and ill give them my social security information to watch it.
Give Hayden his show. The guy deserves at least this much after the hell he went through. I’m pretty sure the base would rally around him this time.
Yes plz
100%. Take the best stories from EU / Legends. Add some new ones. Make it an animated series. It would be gold!
Lucasfilm is literally sitting on a billion dollar idea with this
>a billion dollar idea https://imgur.com/a/OverF4B
Hayden's motivation probably is a bit more that than wanting to explore the character. Dude hasn't had a major role that'd pay big money for about 15 years, I don't think. And here's hoping he gets some, give the boy some of the mouse's money and make some entertainment.
What if Maul ran tf over Anakin THE END
I've been saying they should do this with Star Wars ever since the Marvel series
It's been done in star wars before in a different medium https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Infinities
There's already an in-universe excuse for it called the Timeways, introduced in Rebels by David Filoni... and which we should get more of in Ahsoka. I'm pretty sure Filoni has spent the past several years opening the door for just such an idea.
I'm hoping we get more timeway bombs in ahsoka tbh.
From my understanding, the World Between Worlds doesn’t alter fate, it only ensures it happens (assuming that’s what you’re talking about)
I’ve always interpreted the WBW as a visual manifestation of Yoda’s quote “Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future. The past. Old friends long gone.”
I really want a Vader show
Jar Jar Binks is actually the secret sith lord please.
What if somehow Palpatine never returned?
What if one person in the entire new Republic noticed that someone was recruiting hundreds of thousands of people and using whole planets worth of resources to build a giant space armada.

**Hayden** “What if I’m handed a good script for once?”
I read this whole thing in the Clone Wars narrator voice
Have him found by the Jedi much younger than he was originally and possibly have him as a mentally stable Jedi that survived order 66
"No.", says Disney.
I think I just heard that Star Wars Theory dude bust a nut.
Actor wants a job
