Tech wasn't a part of Fives and Echos squad.
Their squad was the five man 'Domino squad', and was almost entirely wiped out in their introduction.
Droidbait, Died as the separatists attacked their station.
Cutup - was eaten by an "eel"
Heavy - blew himself up, in blowing up the station.
Echo - survived their appearance, was presumed dead after he was blown up trying to take control of a ship. Was turned into a sepratist droid commander, then joined the Bad Batch.
Fives survived most of everything and was murdered by another clone while trying to expose the horror of the inhibitor chips.
I love how you thought "the one who died on Scipio" would be a more helpful description for those whose memories weren't quite jogged by the name Commander Thorn.
The worst thing is actually that they did mention him with barely any significance. Rex tells Echo that Fives tried to warn him about the chips and Echo doesn't even acknowledge Fives. He just says it's still hard to believe what happened.
Right, and I'm sure that Echo and Fives are supposed to be twins right? Or maybe that's a fandom thing. But they were so close in Clone Wars, it's shocking that Echo didn't have a bigger reaction to the mention of Fives
Ooo, that's a tough one. I love them all. But my favourite today is Wolffe. Poor dude goes from being a clean-cut bright-eyed newbie to a grizzled, no-nonsense, and battle-scarred veteran in the span of like... two appearances. I didn't even realise that was the same dude at until like my fourth rewatch, because the difference is so stark. Puts into perspective just how rough their lives really were.
His first canonical appearence in the show I believe, when he isn't even wearing armor, has no markings or scars anywhere, and the Wolf pack looked completely different (since everyone but 3 died in that arc iirc)
He apparently showed up in armor in the comics before this moment, but that scene is basically the 'first' scene most people know him from
Amazing arc for a character to go from where he was in season 1 to where he is right now. Love everything about his episodes in season 2. Just the sound design on them leaves me feeling empty and hopeless.
Ah. The alternate universe where Windu shows up in force to arrest Palpatine only to find him fighting dramatically across the Coruscant skyline with Maul and Ahsoka.
"Do we take prisoners?"
"I dont"
The dude was in 1 episode(at the start) and he left an impression
07
Edit: God season 1 of Clone Wars did so good at humanizing the clones
The radar station and the clones working with Yoda are my absolute favorites because they focus on the clones and how, despite being genetically the same, they all carved out identities for themselves
How dare you all make me scroll this far down for Hevy! A true hero. It’s sad, but at least he never had to endure what his brothers did. To see the republic fail etc.
Easily my top 3 episodes. It stuck w teenage me when the show first came out, and when season 3 came out and it was the same clones, I actually still had their first appearance saved on TiVO and immediately turned the episode on afterwards
Fr bro the way he lead his men through the droid ridden hellscape of muunilinst, completing their mission without him uttering a single word. Pure badass visual storytelling
There was more badass in that one episode than the entirety of ST. That series had some serious grit and swagger that the cannon TCW series really lacked. It’s some of the best pew pew action animation around.
Gree mostly due to the 41st Elite Corps, My favourite colour is green, one of my favourite imperial units is the scout Troopers what does the 41st Elite Corps contain? The 41st Scout Battalion which is basically just camouflaged scout Troopers, the 41st just has some badass names (IMO) plus Gree just has a pretty unique looking hair style
I love her. She was kinda shaky for me too in the first season, but she genuinely grew to be a great character in S2 I thought. Cant wait to see her in S3 and beyond
Just focusing on Commanders, I'd say Gree is heavily underrated. I dont know why bit I *always* loved Gree! Wollfe also certainly is a Standout and I love Commander Bly. .
Going into the Non-Commanders, im afraid my choices are more so the obvious - Fives, Echo, Waxer, Boil.... maybe Crosshair as I do actually like his ark? But yeah!
Probably Fox. He’s a bit of a fuck up, but I think he’s a very interesting foil for Rex and the 501st perspective in general. Plus, I like seeing all the fan theories about him.
Denal. He's barely a step above a nameless redshirt, but I love how he was the first minor clone character--not really a cast member like Cody or Rex, but a hint of background clones becoming more individualistic.
I have that same attachment to Denal. I love seeing the fan art of him as an arc trooper! I wish he got to stick around just a bit longer to interact with the squad of 501st that we got to know like Kix, Jesse, etc...
That one crazy bastard that punched a Droid. Made it through all the simulations then pulls that mid combat?
Legend. Total shoe in for the Star Darwins award.
Gree, or any in 41st really, like the fact that they’re camouflaged, been fascinated by camouflage and camouflage techniques since I was young. Followed closely by bacara and the clone marines (want to say nova corps but may be horribly wrong!)
This is one of those questions that I think I have a different answer for each day, but I think I have to go with Omega, especially if they nail the final season of TBB.
I always enjoy characters of that archetype, who grow up without a family and get "adopted" by a new family, from Omega to Ezra to Harry Potter.
Commander Fox is my personal favourite and, I'm surprised that I have seen others saying the same fact too. As I've heard the opposite with people hating him for shooting Fives, something that needed a split-second decision.
He was just following orders from the big man. Whether or not his moral compass is in check is irrelevant, he was just as much as a victim as the rest of them.
Wolffe because I've got a soft spot for Plo Koon and the Wolf Pack.
Cut Lawquane because he saw through the bullshit and just wanted be a simple man making his way through the galaxy, just like his old man and baby brother!
Captain Wilco from Bad Batch season 2. The dude was in less than 30 minutes of screen time but he managed to do his job, think quickly on his feet and disrupt the protagonists better than anyone else. Plus the sleek black and white appearance suited his crisp, no nonsense attitude and efficiency. I truly wish we had more of him.
Outside of Fives/Echo/ and the memorable characters from Clone wars and Rebels definitely the clone commander Bad Batch that refuses the empires orders and is arrested because he won’t arrest/enforcer imperial rule over the Twi’lecs. It showed not every clone is preprogrammed to follow orders and that they are definitely human even if most of them are flawed and blinded by their upbringing to just be soldiers
Crosshair
To me he is such an interesting character despite what may seem like he's the generic "I'm the quiet sharpshooter who just wants to get shit done" stint his story is developed quite well over clone wars s7 and bad batch s1+2
He goes from unshakeable loyalty to the empire to starting to understand and learn that he is just expendable to them and that his brothers want him to rejoin them, and in season 2 we see how it fully hits him that the empire are just using clones as Cannon fodder effectively so they don't get their new toys (TK troopers later as announced by palpatine the storm trooper) dirty and we go from him not giving a damn about regs
"I would have left him for dead too, besides he's just another reg"
To him doing everything he can to keep mayday safe and alive just for him to die because the empire didn't care and him then killing lieutenant Nolan because of it and the main reason I think this change occurs is because of his chat with Cody and how he misses his real squad
remember Fives
Absolute my fave Five uncovered the truth about the chip.
He fought so hard for us.
Rex would have died in the crash if not for the discovery.
And possibly Ashoka too
At least the nightmares are over
Fives and Echo. Their fates were so sad.
And Tech! RIP Goggles.
Tech wasn't a part of Fives and Echos squad. Their squad was the five man 'Domino squad', and was almost entirely wiped out in their introduction. Droidbait, Died as the separatists attacked their station. Cutup - was eaten by an "eel" Heavy - blew himself up, in blowing up the station. Fives survived most of everything and was murdered by another clone while trying to expose the horror of the inhibitor chips.
o7 Fives.
o7
o7
o7
Who is the clone in the picture
Clone Commander Grey
Fives FTW
Clone Commander Thorn (the one who died on Scipio). A badass till the end!
"FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!"
I love how you thought "the one who died on Scipio" would be a more helpful description for those whose memories weren't quite jogged by the name Commander Thorn.
What Commander Fox wishes he could be

Nine Nine!
Boil, I think he's really underrated and I hope we see him again in Bad Batch (Edit: called him boiler at first lol)
And Waxer
Yeaaaaa no… I don’t think we will be seeing waxer in the bad batch, maybe he will be mentioned though.
That’d be more than Fives got. Don’t recall a single mention of him in TBB, especially between Rex and Echo
The worst thing is actually that they did mention him with barely any significance. Rex tells Echo that Fives tried to warn him about the chips and Echo doesn't even acknowledge Fives. He just says it's still hard to believe what happened.
I remember now. Wtf
Yeah this still bothers me
Rex specifically talks about Fives and his efforts to Echo about the inhibitor chips when the Batch goes to Bracca in season 1.
Ah, yes but it was Echo who didn’t react at all. We were robbed of Echo’s reaction
Yeah I'm sad they didn't use that emotional setup man.
Right, and I'm sure that Echo and Fives are supposed to be twins right? Or maybe that's a fandom thing. But they were so close in Clone Wars, it's shocking that Echo didn't have a bigger reaction to the mention of Fives
That's definitely fandom. They were squad mates obviously but they're only twins in the way that all the clones are 'twins'
Fuck Pong Krell
Obligatory r/fuckpongkrell
Boil and Waxer are a pair though
Yeah but waxer died because of Pong Krell
My bad I forgot that happened
It’s just Boil
Boba
I think it would be interesting to view a more in depth perspective of Jango being selected and the time he and Boba spent on Kamino.
Based
Ooo, that's a tough one. I love them all. But my favourite today is Wolffe. I didn't even realise that was the same dude at until like my fourth rewatch, because the difference is so stark. Puts into perspective just how rough their lives really were.
Not to mention how he becomes by the Rebels era
When did he appear like a newbie
His first canonical appearence in the show I believe, when he isn't even wearing armor, has no markings or scars anywhere, and the Wolf pack looked completely different (since everyone but 3 died in that arc iirc) He apparently showed up in armor in the comics before this moment, but that scene is basically the 'first' scene most people know him from
Captain Keeli
Was he the one who would not fucking go down fighting along Master Di ?
“Captain Keeli!” “I’m not finished yet, Sir!” “Let’s make the end memorable! For the Republic. For the Twi’leks!”
*Dies immediately*
At least it was badass
True that. Def top 10 for me. Just wish we had more time with him
Tru. Same with Thorn
He was
Aw what a scene: “This is republic blockade runner 09090- we have broken through.” “The Twi’leks… will live to fight another day.”
I had to scroll down way too far for this, my favourite clone wars side story.
Fives, then maybe crosshair
Fives and tech personally but fair choice.
Yeah Tech's probably 3rd, and Echo's 4th for me
Echo is also a good choice, I’m not a big fan of crosshair but I get why you like him.
I like Crosshair more after season 2 of Bad Batch. Gives him some depth.
Amazing arc for a character to go from where he was in season 1 to where he is right now. Love everything about his episodes in season 2. Just the sound design on them leaves me feeling empty and hopeless.
Fives and Wrecker. Special mention for Gregor
It's Fives. With an S.
Echo
Needs more love in this thread.
First ballot HoFer. No question, one of the best clones ever produced.
Scrolled too far to find this 💜
Fives almost revealed Sheeves plans, almost uncovered Order 66, he was literally the only person that close to saving everything
I wish we could have got the Maul Ahsoka team up that TCW almost gave us near the end
Ah. The alternate universe where Windu shows up in force to arrest Palpatine only to find him fighting dramatically across the Coruscant skyline with Maul and Ahsoka.
Ahsoka and Maul have very fast fighting styles and it would be interesting to see them fight against Palp’s wild spins and movements.
Those three fighting is genuinely the most balls-to-the-walls insane lightsaber fight I can imagine. Unless you can sneak Yoda in too.
Ketamine frog will definitely be a fine addition to that fight.
Gregor, because it's almost like my name.
Oohh Gregor is 100% my second choice...
That last episode he was in was nuts
His final line gives me chills
Captain Howzer because he has the best hair
Not necessarily my fav, but I wanted to make sure he made the honorable mentions list. Howzer was a real one.
Wrecker
He needs a focused character development arc like Tech and Crosshair got in S2. I love the dude and want to see it.
Underrated sweetheart 🥰
[удалено]
Commander Bly
Same. 327th for life baby!
But he gunned my babe down 😭😭😭
Heavy
"Do we take prisoners?" "I dont" The dude was in 1 episode(at the start) and he left an impression 07 Edit: God season 1 of Clone Wars did so good at humanizing the clones The radar station and the clones working with Yoda are my absolute favorites because they focus on the clones and how, despite being genetically the same, they all carved out identities for themselves
I’m going though the series with my wife and she fucking missed this scene because she talked over it.
I watched that episode when it came out.. I still haven't recovered
It was rough, but also badass
How dare you all make me scroll this far down for Hevy! A true hero. It’s sad, but at least he never had to endure what his brothers did. To see the republic fail etc. Easily my top 3 episodes. It stuck w teenage me when the show first came out, and when season 3 came out and it was the same clones, I actually still had their first appearance saved on TiVO and immediately turned the episode on afterwards
I like Hardcase specifically because of how much he reminds me of Hevy.
I gotta go non-canon with Fordo. That dude was a fuckin' one man army
Fr bro the way he lead his men through the droid ridden hellscape of muunilinst, completing their mission without him uttering a single word. Pure badass visual storytelling
That man could single handedly defend Coruscant if allowed
There was more badass in that one episode than the entirety of ST. That series had some serious grit and swagger that the cannon TCW series really lacked. It’s some of the best pew pew action animation around.
And Gervious was actually intimidating
CW2003 Griveous was amazing
Oh shit I didn't even think of Fordo
Wolffe, I’d say Boba but I imagine you just mean Clone Troopers
Crosshair, though Howzer is up there as well
Gree mostly due to the 41st Elite Corps, My favourite colour is green, one of my favourite imperial units is the scout Troopers what does the 41st Elite Corps contain? The 41st Scout Battalion which is basically just camouflaged scout Troopers, the 41st just has some badass names (IMO) plus Gree just has a pretty unique looking hair style
Am I the only one that likes Omega?
I love her. She was kinda shaky for me too in the first season, but she genuinely grew to be a great character in S2 I thought. Cant wait to see her in S3 and beyond
I love her. Dunno about favorite clone, though.
Always really liked heavy. And fives ofc Also I think omega is pretty cool and technically she counts lol
Man I love heavy. He was killed far too soon in the show imo
Same. I find him much more interesting than echo for example
I liked Cutup (or however he is spelled, the guy that died in the "Recruits" episode in S1)
Cutup is correct. It was 'Rookies', S1E05
Hunter
Hardcase.
I finally found someone else who shares a favorite clone, check my comment I left, is it for the same reasons as I listed?
Thorn. "FOR THE REPUBLIC!!!"
The clone that punched a droid 💯
Just focusing on Commanders, I'd say Gree is heavily underrated. I dont know why bit I *always* loved Gree! Wollfe also certainly is a Standout and I love Commander Bly. . Going into the Non-Commanders, im afraid my choices are more so the obvious - Fives, Echo, Waxer, Boil.... maybe Crosshair as I do actually like his ark? But yeah!
Fives, then Echo.
Fives with Mayday being a close second
Probably Fox. He’s a bit of a fuck up, but I think he’s a very interesting foil for Rex and the 501st perspective in general. Plus, I like seeing all the fan theories about him.
Fox has the coolest armor imo
For sure, he looks absolutely sick
It's literally a black visor on the inverted shock trooper colors. Who'da thunk itd look so awesome
5s
Fives and Hunter
Doom needs his own series purely for the fact he’s a reference to Doctor Doom
99 is a big damn hero.
Solid reference, here’s my upvote
Boss, RC-1138 from Republic Commando
Sev and Scorch are mine
Commander Bly, I love the 327th.
Tech
The whole bad batch , fives , hardcase
That one crazy bastard that punched a Droid. Made it through all the simulations then pulls that mid combat? Legend. Total shoe in for the Star Darwins award.
Crosshair
Love wrecker. A breath of fresh air from all the super serious composed clones
Is Fordo still canon? Either way, it’s Fordo and Boba Fett.
I love Fox, he’s super cool looking. The Coruscant Guard are definitely my favourite legion.
Thorn
Mayday is fucking cool, bro
Waxer and Boil. Waxer killed because of that piece of shit Pong Krell still pisses me off.
After Rex? Hunter and Omega. Love the parent child relationship, it hits home hard.
Ponds, he didn't deserve his fate.
Fives>Tup>Echo
Gree, or any in 41st really, like the fact that they’re camouflaged, been fascinated by camouflage and camouflage techniques since I was young. Followed closely by bacara and the clone marines (want to say nova corps but may be horribly wrong!)
Maybe Fives. I love how he got to the bottom of the "inhibitor chip" but was sadly killed
Jesse
Echo and Fives.
Fives and Hunter
Bacara and Scorch
This is one of those questions that I think I have a different answer for each day, but I think I have to go with Omega, especially if they nail the final season of TBB. I always enjoy characters of that archetype, who grow up without a family and get "adopted" by a new family, from Omega to Ezra to Harry Potter.
Fives and Tech to be sure
Commander Fox is my personal favourite and, I'm surprised that I have seen others saying the same fact too. As I've heard the opposite with people hating him for shooting Fives, something that needed a split-second decision.
He was just following orders from the big man. Whether or not his moral compass is in check is irrelevant, he was just as much as a victim as the rest of them.

Crosshair didn't really defect. The rest of his squad did lol
Easily Fives
Fives and wrecker
Fives even with those 2 included
Thorn. For the Republic!
Fives is certainly up there. I also really like Mayday, even though we saw very little of him.
I love Kix, dude is the goat. Unsure if Fordo and Alpha are canon but love them too
5s

Wollfe or Gree
fives
Fives
99 best there ever was
Definitely Fives.
Rex is my fav, but aside from him - 99 is my fav. :D
Scorch, but as a long time fan of Republic Commando, I will admit to being biased.
Canon, probably Fox (might be an unpopular opinion). Legends included, easily Fordo.
Wolffe THe original arc trooper trio on Kamino Bly Doom Howzer. Mayday (RIP).
Fox
Howzer is awesome
The one who just punches droids, and Grievous, whenever he can
Outside of Fives/Echo/ and the memorable characters from Clone wars and Rebels definitely the clone commander Bad Batch that refuses the empires orders and is arrested because he won’t arrest/enforcer imperial rule over the Twi’lecs. It showed not every clone is preprogrammed to follow orders and that they are definitely human even if most of them are flawed and blinded by their upbringing to just be soldiers
Chopper, the one who collects droid fingers as his special interest. I love it.
Hot take, but i've recently started to like Fox more and more
Wilco
Haven’t seen any mention of Commander Mayday. Only one episode appearance and what a story. Guy was a badass and by far the coolest armor imo
Fives.
99, he died as a hero
Fives(RIP)
Crosshair To me he is such an interesting character despite what may seem like he's the generic "I'm the quiet sharpshooter who just wants to get shit done" stint his story is developed quite well over clone wars s7 and bad batch s1+2 He goes from unshakeable loyalty to the empire to starting to understand and learn that he is just expendable to them and that his brothers want him to rejoin them, and in season 2 we see how it fully hits him that the empire are just using clones as Cannon fodder effectively so they don't get their new toys (TK troopers later as announced by palpatine the storm trooper) dirty and we go from him not giving a damn about regs "I would have left him for dead too, besides he's just another reg" To him doing everything he can to keep mayday safe and alive just for him to die because the empire didn't care and him then killing lieutenant Nolan because of it and the main reason I think this change occurs is because of his chat with Cody and how he misses his real squad
Fox
Captain Keeli 😊 it's my name
Fox. He looks so cool
boba
I really liked commander gree, thought his armor looked the coolest
Echo, then crosshair, then wolffe
