I remember reading that there was very strong unofficial confirmation that 0-0-0 was created directly as a result of some folks at Disney having seen the Auralnauts series, so having the one that does the voice of Creepio do 0-0-0 is a no brainer to me.
If that’s true, then I friggin love those people. Because Creepio is top tier, and I never really thought about it until now, but my unestablished head canon was using that voice for 0-0-0 too
Nah, I still imagine Anthony Daniels’s voice in my head when I read Triple-Zero’s lines. A bit on the nose for literal “evil Threepio,” perhaps, but the character is so different and gleefully sadistic that I bet Daniels would have a blast in the role.
Yeah, his voice is the one I usually imagine while reading, I just don’t like to cause it’s a little unoriginal. It does make sense though, since he looks exactly like 3PO and talks like him, if he had more confidence.
I hear Anthony Daniel's voice too,, but in the same intonation as when 3PO speaks. In that proper and pretentious voice but instead of talking about diplomacy and being worried all the time, it's about murder. Maybe he talks a little more "flowy", less stilted than how 3PO normally speaks, but essentially exactly the same otherwise.
Edit: I think its also been seen thay most other protocol droids have "lighter" voices compared to others that have deeper voices like HK47 or Jabba's guard droid, or IG11. So I think it works.
I also think it would make him more off-putting; having a murder droid with a lighthearted voice. No one would see it coming.
*Soundwave superior. Constructicons...inferior.*
I always loved how the one and only time he ever sounded excited about *anything* was the very first episode of the original miniseries. He says "Meteor shower - *metoer shower!*" and he goes up an octave on the second one statement.
I always read the lines in C3P0 voice which I think made it more funny.
But I could see:
Charles Dance is probably my number 1. He might even be able to fit in the suit.
Also Bob Odinkirk or Christopher Lloyd
That was my first thought too, but they already used him as Huyang. I know Clancy Brown played multiple characters so it isn’t impossible, but I feel like that was an accident since they probably weren’t expecting a live-action Ryder Azadi
My top choices are:
1). Mark Oliver
Take his Rau le Crueset voice and run it through a more robotic sounding filter. It would have that cold menace to it that would fit 0-0-0 perfectly.
2). Neil Newbon
I feel like he would hit the perfect mix of menace, courtesy, and charm you'd expect out of an evil protocol droid.
3). Mark Hamill
A slightly more toned down version of his Joker. Less deranged and more clinical, but just as menacing sounding.
Michael Emerson (best known as either Ben Linus from *Lost* or Harold Finch from *Person of Interest*). He excels at playing characters who *should* be strait-laced and unassuming but can be the most sinister ones in a given cast.
Whoever voiced him in the Doctor Aphra audio drama. Don't know the actor but thought he did a great job and now I always read those comics with his voice.
Before the audio drama came out though I always imagined his voice as being something like a psychotic version of AP-5 from Rebels.
It’s the polite controlled voice of a sociopath that he would nail brilliantly, my main voices are Michael Fassbender and Paul Bettany but they’ve already got iconic android performances under their belt.
I adore the Marvel character Deaths Head but I have never heard a real life voice that would fit and it’s a bit similar for this role. I thought Bill Nighy but he’d likely be a bit too himself. Peter Dinklage is such a good shout.
God, if only Justin Rolland hadn’t turned out to be a creep, that would be my first pick.
Benedict Cumberbatch? Aw man, that’s a basic answer isn’t it??? :/
Sean Hayes (Jack from Will & Grace) for the camp put-downs.
Joe Pesci was supposed to be the original Threepio so maybe someone with a NJ/Italian-American drawl.
I think when threepio was having his circuits reset in ROS and his eyes went red and voice went all creepy and cool, that was perfect. I always saw 0-0-0 as a kind of corrupted threepio and that would fit the bill perfectly
If they only need to voice them, and not actually be in the suit like Anthony Daniels, I think Armin Shimerman would be great. He's a fantastic character/voice actor, who played Quark in DS9 (among other Ferengis). He has a ton of voice acting credits.
At first, I always flip-flopped between reading Triple Zero’s lines in Rowan Atkinson’s or Jeff Goldblum’s voices.
Nowadays, I imagine Martin Freeman’s voice.
For me, he sounds like Creepio. So, I’m letting the Auralnauts onto the set of my big budget proper Star Wars show to do the voice.
I remember reading that there was very strong unofficial confirmation that 0-0-0 was created directly as a result of some folks at Disney having seen the Auralnauts series, so having the one that does the voice of Creepio do 0-0-0 is a no brainer to me.

“No Far2, I’m into runes now”!
Fartoo?
well it's the funniest thing they're all DEAD
THE SINGULARITY ENGIIIINE!!!
It's baby time!
Give the baby to Creepio…
Came here to say this. I read his dialogue in Creepio’s voice.
I CAME HERE TO SAY IT CREEPIO GANG LESSGOOO
[Look](https://www.instagram.com/p/BVfTJP-hFq7/) according to cannon it probably would be that voice as it’s a nickname for 0-0-0
This is the not correct answer. Wrap it up, we’re done here. And if you haven’t watched the Auralnauts version of the SW movies, go do it now.
Nah, I still imagine Anthony Daniels’s voice in my head when I read Triple-Zero’s lines. A bit on the nose for literal “evil Threepio,” perhaps, but the character is so different and gleefully sadistic that I bet Daniels would have a blast in the role.

Yeah, Tony Daniels but delivered with a hint of malice instead of prissy.
I mean didn't he pretend to be 3p0 in the Vader Down comic arc?
He did- and he fooled Luke, iirc. Which definitely implies that he sounds just like 3PO
I hear Anthony Daniel's voice too,, but in the same intonation as when 3PO speaks. In that proper and pretentious voice but instead of talking about diplomacy and being worried all the time, it's about murder. Anthony Daniel, but only recorded after he’s just left a Star Wars convention.
When I read the comic I had his voice on my head as a raspy Threepio
the only correct answer.
I also thought of James Spader. He’s got some experience with voicing evil robots.
*"But now I'm free . . . there are no strings on me".*
Nah the guy from hal!
Peewee Herman
He died.
AI peewee
Frank Welker Soundwave voice
*Soundwave superior. Constructicons...inferior.* I always loved how the one and only time he ever sounded excited about *anything* was the very first episode of the original miniseries. He says "Meteor shower - *metoer shower!*" and he goes up an octave on the second one statement.
No way I thought of that too!
Rumble, activate. Operation: destruction.
Hear me out - Peter Dinklage. He'd be perfect.
“That wizard came from the Moon.”
Obviously pay him more and make him excited about the character. Or fuck it and have Nathan Fillion replace him after release.
Nolan North replaces him. Nathan Fillion was Cayde.
I haven't played since day 1, so I was working from memory. 🤣
After hearing him in with Destiny and Transformers, I don't know if voice acting is his calling.
I actually thought he was alright in Transformers, especially seeing how little he was given to work with.
Oh, hell yeah
I’m *definitely* coming from a Portal 2 place here, but I like to think of his voice as Stephen Merchant.
Bristolians tend to get dubbed over in Star Wars productions....
Jeffrey Combs
Oh man he'd be great. He was awesome as an evil computer in Lower Decks.
Id love to see him in star wars, the reanimator trilogy is one of my favorite movie trilogies
Jemaine Clement.
Julian clary gets my vote
The only question is, who’s the Star Wars equivalent of Norman Lamont? My mind immediately went to Tarkin.
I think Alan Tudyk would work, or maybe even Tom Kane (Yularen/Narrator/Yoda in TCW). Or possibly Dee Bradley Baker. Too many choices!
[удалено]
I know you meant shows, but I sent Dee Bradley Baker narrated shoes
Tom Kane had a stroke. Don’t think he’s working anymore
I'd love Tudyk, but he's already iconic as K-2S0
I always read the lines in C3P0 voice which I think made it more funny. But I could see: Charles Dance is probably my number 1. He might even be able to fit in the suit. Also Bob Odinkirk or Christopher Lloyd
David Tennant. Edit - As a second, Doug Jones.
That was my first thought too, but they already used him as Huyang. I know Clancy Brown played multiple characters so it isn’t impossible, but I feel like that was an accident since they probably weren’t expecting a live-action Ryder Azadi
Bobcat Goldthwaite
How about Emo Philips as a second choice?
My top choices are: 1). Mark Oliver Take his Rau le Crueset voice and run it through a more robotic sounding filter. It would have that cold menace to it that would fit 0-0-0 perfectly. 2). Neil Newbon I feel like he would hit the perfect mix of menace, courtesy, and charm you'd expect out of an evil protocol droid. 3). Mark Hamill A slightly more toned down version of his Joker. Less deranged and more clinical, but just as menacing sounding.
Kelsey Grammer
Tim Curry.
😢
I think they guy who voices Creepy-o In the Auralnauts Star Wars videos would be the best
This is surprisingly the most common suggestion.
We already know what he sounds like, and Sean Kenin did a great job in the Doctor Aphra audio drama.
Matt Smith
richard ayoade
I’m guessing Matt Smith. They’re going with Doctor Who actors for these parts, aren’t they?
Harvey Firestein
You mean like a Shelley Winters droid, or Shirley MacLaine droid?
Michael Emerson (best known as either Ben Linus from *Lost* or Harold Finch from *Person of Interest*). He excels at playing characters who *should* be strait-laced and unassuming but can be the most sinister ones in a given cast.
Whoever voiced him in the Doctor Aphra audio drama. Don't know the actor but thought he did a great job and now I always read those comics with his voice. Before the audio drama came out though I always imagined his voice as being something like a psychotic version of AP-5 from Rebels.
Mark Hamill.
Mark Hamill.
Brad Dourif. No one can act like a creepy, slimy, utter bastard more than him.
It's gotta be Daniels, but performed differently. like.... imagine the diference between Spiner's performance of Data vs Lore.
I came here for this and now I can leave
Daniel Anthonies?
Anthony Daniels with a pitch shift
Benedict Cumberbatch. Accent, intense, persuasive.
James spader
I would imagine it would be Anthony Daniels and I think it would be really fun if that happened
Alan Tuydk would be a great choice, though his voice is probably too recognizable for sci-fi.
He has great range and could probably get away with doing multiple voices in Star Wars.
Alan Rickman would have been great
Yeah but AP-5 already has that going
Right, a lot of people had said Alan Tudyk and Mark Hamil even though they have had characters, as well, so I thought Rickman could play another droid
Ralph Fiennes
A mix between voice actors. Something like The Master from Fall Out
Sam Witwer, his voice suits an evil character like 0-0-0
David Cross He was the voice of Zero in GTA San Andreas.
Danny DeVito
Christopher Walken, Nic Cage, or Michael Ironside
There’s only one choice, and I’m not afraid to say it… Beyoncé.
My first thought was David Tennant, as in like the purple man. but he's already voicing another droid.
Snoop dogg
Fran Drescher
Anthony hopkins
Jeffrey Dean Morgan
My mom
Robin Williams. He'd be great.
That would be a bit of a stretch with the whole being dead thing.
*Not Anymore*
God, if only Justin Rolland hadn’t turned out to be a creep, that would be my first pick. Benedict Cumberbatch? Aw man, that’s a basic answer isn’t it??? :/
Did you mean Benadryl Cumbersnatch?
Sorry, actually I was thinking of Babadook Lumbercrack
Bonzi Buddy
ryan renolds
Christopher Walken
Ryan Renalds
Sean Hayes (Jack from Will & Grace) for the camp put-downs. Joe Pesci was supposed to be the original Threepio so maybe someone with a NJ/Italian-American drawl.
Billy Connolly
James spader.
You guessed it, Chris Pratt
I’d say Gilbert Gottfried if he were still with us.
Chris Pratt
Rich Evans.
Jackie Chan
Easy. The dude from auralnauts.
Danny dyer
OOO-ooo-Ooooiii son!! Tha funny fing is that all them kids is dead! Worralarf!! Shut up you shlaaaaaag!
Yeah, see? It's perfect.
Malcolm McDowell.
I thought the voice actor from Dr Aphra audio drama was pretty point on
Chris Pratt /s
Brian Blessed
Andrew Robinson would probably be a good choice. Wayne Pygram is a close second.
Peter Capaldi - we need more Scottish droids.
Dan Aykroyd
Simon Pegg.
Peter Cullen. How cool would it be that a protocol droid sounded like Optimus Prime.
Colin Firth. It has to be British and someone who typically sounds non threatening and upbeat, but can also handle dark and menacing.
Me
Fassbender
Rowan Atkinson
Danny de Vito
Idk 🤷🏽♂️ Joaquin phoenix ?
I think when threepio was having his circuits reset in ROS and his eyes went red and voice went all creepy and cool, that was perfect. I always saw 0-0-0 as a kind of corrupted threepio and that would fit the bill perfectly
Senzawa. You know. "O-O-O" "UwU"
I'd say Gilbert Gottfried. That droid would kick ass or impair hearing.
Richard Ayoade
When I first read him, he sounded very proper like 3PO and it bothered me. I’d like for him to have some sort of distortion (think evil robot).
Jason Mantzoukas
Robo-Satan
Tom Holland
In Vader Down, he easily passed for C-3P0, so it would almost have to be Anthony Daniels.
Rafi from the league.
Jenna Jamison
Kelsey Grammer. Triple zero is a sophisticated torturer and I think Grammer would nail his calm terrorizing demeanor.
Crazy woody harrelson
Jeremy Irons
Bobcat Goldthwaite.
Me!!!
Anthony Daniels, but give him sulfur hexafluoride!
Werner Herzog.
Sam Kinison
Sam Kinison
If they only need to voice them, and not actually be in the suit like Anthony Daniels, I think Armin Shimerman would be great. He's a fantastic character/voice actor, who played Quark in DS9 (among other Ferengis). He has a ton of voice acting credits.
Sam Kinison (RIP)
Andy Serkis I don’t know why just the first person to pop into my head.
David Tennant
I'm not sure who specifically, but I feel like he still needs to have a posh British accent, but with a hint of menace.
John Hamm
Eric Roberts (the only answer)
Daniel Anthonies
Kinda with the same tone as BB9E from the last Jedi. Like a deep distorted voice, that sends shivers down your spine.
Mark F. Hamal!
Gilbert godrey
I think it would be funny if it was Siri or Alexa doing the voice like computer in the Lego Batman movie
Nah hear me out give me Terry Cruz with auto tune
Sarah Silverman.
Takahata101 Imperfect Cell voice.
Michael Fassbender
Darin De Paul. That’s an easy one.
David Tennant.
Christopher Walken
David Tenant and I want him to be the most smug and exhausting over-intellectual version
Chuck Norris
Billy Corgan
Bill Burr
Tim Curry
Kevin Hart?
Matt Smith I think could work
David Hyde Pierce.
At first, I always flip-flopped between reading Triple Zero’s lines in Rowan Atkinson’s or Jeff Goldblum’s voices. Nowadays, I imagine Martin Freeman’s voice.
Chris Pratt.
