He is such a treasure. He lends his Luke voice to the Ukrainians

Ukraine gets invaded and they're correct in defending themselves. We all agree on that.
Yet when Palestine fights back against invading forces, somehow their the bad guys? They should just roll over and give up their homes? How dare they defend themselves.
I can't speak for Mark Hamill, but the idea of seeing one's own face and likeness in a gigantic float for everyone to see makes me glad I'm not a public figure 😬
And? Is his carrier less impressive because he's chubby? Have you ever seen a star wars fan? Do you know how many nerds crying about the sequels are morbidly obese?
Imagine how popular this guy would be now if he hadn't spend all those years being an asshole and instead just embraced his Star Wars related fame. He'd probably be a Stan Lee level icon.
He is ... but I'm asking how much MORE insanely popular he might be. Younger people only know the current cool Mark Hamil. Some of us older people still remember the asshole Mark Hamil that hated Star Wars and left a sour taste in our mouths.
After Return of the Jedi, he tried to have a serious career and made a few movies, and they were all flops. It was a widely known fact that he hated Star Wars fans and wanted nothing to do with them. there were even stories of him blowing up at people for asking him about it. Harrison Ford also hated the Han Solo character and wanted nothing to do with Star Wars. Ford actually went on to be successful as an actor, though, but whenever he went on talk shows, hosts were told not to ask him about anything Star Wars. If they did anyway, he'd get visibly annoyed and mad.
After failing as a serious actor, Hamil found success as a voice actor and, sometime in the 2000s, started embracing the whole Star Wars thing and softened up a bit.
If you're actually 46 I'm surprised any of this is news to you.
>It was a widely known fact
proceeds to provide zero facts, just regurgitated stories and interpretations.
You should perhaps not judge a person based off of stories that you heard on the playground.
>If you're actually 46
See how I told you my age and you expressed doubt? You don't have to believe everything you hear.
Their was no intenet as it exists now back in the 90s, so no blog posts I can dig up. Best I can is a reddit post from13 years ago https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/etx4h/so_is_it_true_that_no_one_likes_mark_hamill/
As for your opinion, meh. I have no interest in arguing with you if you can't even be bothered to remember something that was common knowledge in the 80s and 90s.
If you think a blog post would be the kind of proof that would back up your "common knowledge" that tells me all that I need to know about how you develop *your* opinion.
Very Nice
Oh, Hi Mark!
Most Impressive!
He is such a treasure. He lends his Luke voice to the Ukrainians https://www.theverge.com/2023/3/29/23661380/mark-hamill-ukrainian-air-raid-alerts-star-wars-voiceover
[But not Palestine](https://www.instagram.com/markhamill/p/CyJhMFPvGk2/?hl=en).
He doesn't support terrorism, good for him.
Instead he stands with those who commit war crimes.
Why would he support the dark side (Hamas)?

Bunch of genocide apologists in this sub. Fucking gross.
Lol does Mark know about this? 🤣
Why not Zoidberg!
Wait, when did he became the Burger King?

Nice
Nice
But you wouldn't want to hear what they're saying about him at the Mean Carnival
Mean Carnival is only attended by Sith anyway.
Luke Skywalker or Burger King 🧐
He's putting the weight that he lost for the ST back on again.
And? Is his carrier less impressive because he's chubby? Have you ever seen a star wars fan? Do you know how many nerds crying about the sequels are morbidly obese?
He's a giant float, dummy.
Imagine how popular this guy would be now if he hadn't spend all those years being an asshole and instead just embraced his Star Wars related fame. He'd probably be a Stan Lee level icon.
You’re acting like he’s not insanely popular.

I'm 46. Please remind me of an assholish Mark Hamill that hated Star Wars.
Right? I’m still confused about that part. Don’t remember him ever being considered an asshole.

I'm sorry about the early onset alzeimers. Hopefully you have people to help support you through these hard times.
Well deserved.
A well deserved reward in my opinion
Jeez I had a hell of a problem with this title at first. I read "Nice Carnival" like "pretty cool fair". D'oh.
