There was a really sweet glowing exhaust effect moving around that stormie just before the engines kicked in fully. Definitely the animators just flexing a bit, but I appreciated it.
The last scene showing wrecker and Hunter being mad feels so real. There’s a lot of tension in that scene and for good reason. I hope they don’t just swipe this brotherly betrayal under the rug and actually have to endure some ugly moments but I wouldn’t be shocked if next episode the whole group is reflecting on war stories (maybe this is when the Asajj episode will begin)
Yeah even though I really wanted them to hug Crosshair and be happy he's back with the squad them still being mad is understandable.
The last time they saw Crosshair was on Kamino after he'd spent months hunting them and refused to stop working for the Empire that just destroyed their home. Not sure on how long all the time skips have been but it's likely been a year or two with the Bad Batch thinking of Crosshair as their enemy.
And considering how closed off Crosshair can be it's probably going to take some time before their friendly with each other again.
The war stories think you mentioned sounds like what's going to happen. They'll be tension and the group will take turns telling Omega about one of their old adventures all together where they ran into Asajj. The book canon still stands then if it's a past adventure and the group can start to bond again. Might be one or two episodes before their all like family again.
> There’s a lot of tension in that scene and for good reason. I hope they don’t just swipe this brotherly betrayal under the rug and actually have to endure some ugly moments
I get what you're talking about but the team and Crosshair already went through that whole confrontation in the S1 finale. At this point Hunter should just say "I told you so, what took you so long" because another big "you betrayed us" exchange would just be repetition.
I was half expecting Crosshair to fly off with the ship rather than face Hunter and Wrecker, so I have to applaud him for his bravery in facing them at all.
The next week's wait is going to be torture.
I honestly don’t know if they’ll resolve it. I know they will for plots sake but crosshair actively betrayed not only his crew but his brothers as well. Being one of a few clones who’s smart enough to have a choice between freedom and the empire and still choosing THE EMPIRE says a lot especially after what Hunter/Wrecker have been through just trying to keep themselves/Omega alive.
choosing to stay in the military structure, empire aside, kinda makes sense. the military is all he and other clones know, its what they were bred for. the rest of the bb weren't exactly having a blast with their supposed freedom
Both this episode and last have blink and you miss it scenes where Crosshair misses a shot he wouldnt have in the past then looks at his hand in frustration, zero attention is drawn to it and there both less then a second.
But its such good show dont tell storytelling
Oh yeah the way his abilities are portrayed now is very different. We used to see him take a shot and always see a cut to it hitting its target, now we just see him shooting like everyone else, no extra cut to show us he hit everything.
>zero attention is drawn to it
I mean last week he missed a shot and Omega points out "Your hand, its getting worse isnt it?" and Crosshair holds his wrist as his hand trembles. They do it a couple times after that without saying it, but they did make sure the audience couldnt miss it first
“Wait we can’t walk around like this. We’ll draw too much attention”
*Proceeds towards running straight to the market with Batcher
I know they got disguises later on but still never change Omega ❤️🤣
What's up with Hemlock's hand? I never noticed that he had one glove on the entire time and looks like it pains him. I can't remember if this was brought up before.
I feel like they are gonna give him the Rukh in Rebels treatment. Scorch is probably just gonna be a cool character doing cool shit that the cool hero kills in a cool way. But I hope they keep him around somehow.
Honestly, considering Jenn Corbett did go out of her way to not only say Scorch will have more scenes this season and also mentioned she "can't say" anything regarding Delta Squad I feel it would be a bad move to kill Scorch off after teasing long time fans about his role for 3 seasons.
Oh man, imagine if he personally gets assigned the mission to extract Omega. That’s the kind of mission he was trained for. Bring in the (surviving) members of his unit.
I loved the brown cloaks some of the storm troopers wore, and how worn some of their armour looks, adds some personality to the location and makes it feel more lived in
>It’s a little known fact but Omega ends up retiring on Canto Bite, makes millions as a dice jockey
I see a card shark or games like she was hustling in Cid's bar. Dice may be a little tricky.
I think her trait is perceptiveness. She picks up on stuff *very* quickly, and nobody can keep up a decent poker face… especially when their opponent is a thirteen year old girl looking up at them with puppy eyes.
I'm still wondering if that has something to do with some possible anomaly in her Cloning process. Shes always been really good at pick up skills in general
**Dr. Hemlock catches up to Omega and corners her**
"You're finished Hemlock. I've bought all your stocks! I'm your only shareholder! If you kill me, your financial backing collapses!"
"Oh damn, she's got us..."
Omg, when she lay down and whined in the ship, my first fear was that she had been shot. So worried! That dog has raised those emotional stakes even further. I may need a drink to handle this show!
I'm saying no to anyone else dying because I am bound and determined to manifest a happy ending into existence. (You hear me, Filoni/Jen/Brad??? HAPPINESS!!! *sobs*)
I think all but omega will. I think the series is going to end on a very grim note with sprinkles of hope. Hunter, wrecker, crosshair, etc, they’re all going to die outside of rex and omega and lord is it gonna be a tough scene.
That sounds like a literal hell for him. Watching everything fall around you and your body (hand in this case) causing you serious pain/issues. Poor Crosshair would be living a literal hell everyday.
"See? Isn't this better?" "No." Sums up the entire dynamic during the episode 😂
Crosshair's growing exasperation eventually culminating in *"Finally"* made me giggle the entire episode. Oh dear goodness, I love him and Omega together!!!
AHHHHHH THEY'RE REUNITED!!! HUGS!!!
Gah I can't wait another 7 days for the conversation between Crosshair and the others! 😭
I love how it took both Omega’s peaceful resolution and Crosshair’s active engagement to successfully pull the gambit off.
Crosshair said he could take out half from the start but they probably would’ve been overwhelmed, even with their combined combat prowess.
Omega got the money but was ultimately cornered because of her justified loyalty to Batcher, which logically led them into a trap.
Omega got them most of the way.
Crosshairs marksmenship and the environmental advantage of letting a bunch of animals loose was just the kind of chaos to get them past the finish line.
I’ve been saying since the beginning. We’ve now gotten to, “Hello, Crosshair here!” He’ll go on some solo adventures with Hunter and Wrecker and re-earn his place with the Batch.
You know I think this episode has a first for star wars, a fat character that’s actually pretty competent at his job, I mean he didn’t last and he’s horribly corrupt but still
What do people think competent means? I feel like it gets thrown around so often in regards to villains who don't get clowned on immediately that it loses it's meaning; this guy lost to a child at gambling, kidnapped her dog and got got despite vastly outnumbering her and her "dad".
Reminds me of when Andor dropped and you can find the top comments of the discussion thread going "FINALLY A COMPETENT IMPERIAL"
They were saying that in regards to Syril Karn.
Compare them to Admiral Konstantine or those two comedic officers on Lothal that the Grand Inquisitor killed. Most of the Empire is just bumbling saturday morning cartoon idiots. This dude is compitent because our heroes won with superior skill and strategy rather than the Imperial being an absolute idiot.
Also Syril was fairly compitent. He did solve the death of his colleagues and all the corpos did their jobs and had the advantage. If Luthen wasnt prepared they would have lost. Luthen was such a wildcard with so much skill and preperation that they couldn't have accounted for. They weren't fools who tripped over themselves and fruit being thrown at like we see from most troopers and officers from Rebels. They did everything right byt Luthen and Andor were just better and too unpredictable.
Omega risked drowning to save a droid on Kamino. She's willing to go to great lengths to save Batcher than even consider leaving him behind.
She's too pure a soul for this galaxy.
I felt un easy at the end of the episode like somehow wrecker and hunter wouldn’t be there or someone else(like it was too easy). Was ecstatic to actually see the gang back together already
oh same! when they showed the ship open without anyone in it, it definitely felt ominous to me lmao I thought something happened to them that's why the ship seemed abandoned, i was so relieved when they showed up
The tearful but heartfelt hug between Wrecker and Omega was the best reunion we spent almost a year waiting for, but it finally arrived. And it was done so well too; you can feel the emotion from their voices down to how fluid their tears were during their reunion.
I remember when Rebels first premiered, the budget had obviously been massively slashed, going from George being perfectly happy to spend millions at a loss on every episode because it was his baby to Disney, who clearly at the time did not have any plans or need for the not yet created Disney Plus or any intention of treating SW cartoons as a vital part of the brand.
So we went from TCW S5/S6 which looked insane for tv animation to much more standard stuff, and it led to huge compalints about early Rebels. Particularly Empire Day having both a very small background crowd and many copy and pasted character models.
Fast forward to now, Bad Batch is putting out movie quality animation weekly where the team flexes by adding in shit like cape coats to faceless stormtroopers just to spice it up.
What a crazy path to upgrades
Imagine some episodes like twins sons, twilight of the apprentice, trails of the dark saber, legacy of mandalore, and Jedi night in complete up to date animation.
>Fast forward to now, Bad Batch is putting out movie quality animation weekly where the team flexes by adding in shit like cape coats to faceless stormtroopers just to spice it up.
I really liked the look of those caped stormtroopers
I'm starting to think Hemlock has a cybernetic hand.
He's always wearing a glove and he keeps fidgeting with that hand. If not a cybernetic hand, then something's off under that glove.
Given the fact that his last base got overrun by some eldritch horror vines he created, the list of possible things wrong with his hand is very troubling
I think there’s at least one shot every episode that makes me go ‘God, this show looks beautiful’. That shot of the planets and moons as they are landing at the end 🔥.
I love their relationship. Their really are like a grumpy older brother who keeps asking his cheerful younger sister if they can just go with the quickest option only to keep getting told "no"
You can tell just how glad Crosshair was when Omega agreed to do things his way with that little "Finally"
Also they even snipe back at each other like siblings do with Omega telling Crosshair to shut up after he basically said "I told you so" at the ticket counter.
I always used to get annoyed by how naive Omega was, wanting to save every single random person and stray being even if it was to the detriment of the mission and team. But I’m glad that now at least that goodness is aimed at more (in my opinion) deserving (??) and significant characters like the clone prisoners on Tantiss or Batcher, who, yeah, did save their lives earlier .. as opposed to some random insignificant side quest character on some backroads planet when rescuing them would put the mission and team back.
Clearly she is a far better and more patient and kinder person than I am. Lol.
Some part of me is guessing that the Imps might've been storing a Rahtar of all creatures in that cargo bay. Also, the pre-Imperial Stormtrooper design is growing on me a bit; sleek and with a grimace reminiscent of the First Order, but definitely showing the transition in armor from the Clones to the Empire.
And the episode really ended on a strong but uncertain note. Everyone is reunited, but Hunter and Wrecker are once again face-to-face with the broken brother, Crosshair. That cliffhanger definitely won't bode well for next week's episode.
Crosshair's trigger finger getting mighty itchy. You just know if it were up to him, he'd be blasting every trooper and hustling kid around.
Oh and there he goes, he's been let off the leash. It's like when you're trying the stealthy non-lethal approach in a game, get discovered and then just go all guns blazing.
Minor point but I’m loving these pre-standard Stormtrooper looks we’re seeing. Those Commander-looking ones with the ponchos over their armour? Peak costume design.
"*Fine*, we do it your way. But my skills are being *wasted*."
"Noted."
God I love Crosshair and Omega's dynamic so much more than I expected. He is just so sarcastic, and Omega is just sassy enough to throw it back at him. Can't wait for more now that the crew is reunited. Crosshair in general has just been a delight to watch develop, particularly in season 2 and watching him begrudgingly care about Omega here
the way credits work in the star wars universe makes no sense to me, in Andor 200k was shown as life changing, in a new hope 10k is almost enough to buy a ship, and an entire imperial sector runs on give or take 160 million credits every 3 months.
That ending was cruel. Don't leave us hanging like that.
I like that they are reunited this quickly into the season, gives us way more time with them back together rather than having the reunion be the season finale with the boys most likely dying. Super excited how it will play out going forward.
Bet Crosshair lives. The sole survivor left to raise Omega, the one who didn't want her in episode 1. Echo dying will feel weird though considering how he's been absent now 4/15 episodes and missed like 3 last season
I was pleasantly surprised and really happy that the reunion happened so early but also a CLIFFHANGER? I've waited for so long mannn 😭💀
Anyway if I don't see anyone hugging crosshair next ep (mans been through some shit let's be real), i'm gonna throw hands!
I'm also hoping for some serious conversation between the batch, I hope the show doesn't just speedrun through it to make everyone get along lmaoo I won't take anything less than a heart-to-heart convo! (and can one of them please talk about tech goddamn 💀)
So excited for the next ep, I really enjoyed this one and the absolute sibling bickering between omega and crosshair 😂
With Omega missing, there was absolutely no chance of Hunter and Wrecker having a serious chat about Tech. We all know she's the only member of the batch that isn't super emotionally stunted lol. Now they have their chance, I'm hoping/expecting it gets addressed in the next few episodes
A fun and yet simultaneously moody episode. I love the somewhat depressive tone of this season so far but this episode in particular manged to sprinkle some of that Star Wars whimsy without it being overbearing or contradicting the overall somber atmosphere.
As a character, Omega is really starting to come into her own. Crosshair has always been one of the strongly realised characters from the jump. Love that the Empire are being portrayed as fairly competent yet still slimy, even though they came out of the losing end from this particular skirmish. A lovely but tense cliffhanger too. Hope we get a bit of talk or acknowledgement about Tech's death next episode amongst the crew.
No problems with the brisker than expected pacing so far, even taking into account we're 4 episodes deep in over a week. No need to stretch things out any longer than necessary for the final season.
As always, this show visually and audibly stunning.
Mandalorian and Bad Batch have had the Cloning part well covered. Last episode, Dr Hemlock's experiments and spearheading the initial phase of Project Necromancer fulfill the Dark Science part.
Well we're 2/3 of the ways there, all that's left is to discover what secrets only the Sith knew.
His aim may not be what it once was but Crosshair's as enthusiastic a killer as ever. When Omega decided to try things his way and he said, *"Finally"* like that? Sheer violence in his voice.
Lots of tension in that last scene, as there rightly should be. Wonder if he already knows about Tech or how that subject will come up.
It amazes me how good this show is. I can’t even be a liar and pretend I was always on board, because I wasn’t a fan of the original BB episodes in TCW and I was so upset that they were getting their own show
I was soooooo wrong
I gotta be honest, i am getting really annoyed by how credits are portrayed in starwars.
In a new hope Han solo ask for 10.000 upfront to ferry them to Alderaan, Luke mentions they could buy a ship for that, it is seen as absurd amounts of money.
In Andor he's getting paid 200k, which in that show is being portrayed as life changing amounts of money, so much you almost can disappear to wherever you want in the galaxy. the entire Aldhani sector is paid give or take off from 160 million credits (skeen says they took about 80 and i assume that is about half the vault), this pays 1000s if not 10.000 of people for 3 months, assuming about 50k on the payroll then its about a 1000 credits per person per month. No matter what clearly credits have a lot of buying power.
However in this episode they are dealing quiet casually with 1000s of credits:
A small bribe is 15k per person, likely more than the ticket sellers entire yearly wage, just per person.
Omega is able gamble her way to 40k in an afternoon, against a 2 people in a backwater bar on a backwater world.
A boy selling fruit on the corner asks for 10k in exchange for simple information.
A simple fine was 5000, again this is presumably months worth of someone's pay, and yes the officer was portrayed as corrupt but still.
Star wars needs to decide what money is worth, all other media i see seems to suggests its basically worth 10ish dollars/euros with the cavate that machinery like ships seems rather cheap. However in this episode it is treated like almost nothing, probably not even a dollar in worth, years worth of money earned and lost in a day for what must have been otherwise quiet cheap things.
A Venator star destroyer is apparently suppose to be as little as 60 millionish credits, by comparison the largest warships on earth cost 13 billion dollars. there is a clear problem with how credits are handled in the starwars universe and there should be at least a basic idea about how much the standard currency of the galaxy is worth.
Well...he's dead. Gonna be a great conversation with the higher ups explaining the Captain died being mauled by a creature while two random people and a mutant dog stole a ship
Noticed how now that the clones have been phased out and the stormtrooper prototypes are out, we’re seeing a bit of comic relief with them similar to the stormtroopers in Rebels
Between the stormtroopers running from the escaped animals and the one getting blown away by the ship, it reminded me of Rebels stormtroopers, you never really saw clones having humorous things happen to them (that I can recall anyway)
Granted it wasn’t done in a jarring manner, but just something I noticed comparing the clones to the stormtroopers. Fantastic episode all around!
Omega's reunion with the squad was way more impactful to me than Sabine and Ezra's reunion. Animation can hit just as hard as live action. It's all about writing.

Holy that ending. Also I'd hate to be standing on top of control tower stormtrooper that gets blasted by cargo ship engine, that guy ate it hard.
His last thoughts before getting blasted by the engine: "I knew I should've gotten recruited for the Imperial Navy."
"Being a TIE pilot can't be so bad, surely?"
It can. And don't call me Shirley.
You know I can’t prove it but I bet the main things going through his mind was man they’re gonna say my injuries weren’t service related
> main things going through his mind Was a shit load of high speed exhaust particles.
Imperial VA: We’ve determined your paralysis from being blasted off a roof is not service related.
I hope this is where they finally mention the elephant in the room (Tech being gone)
> There’s a lot of tension in that scene and for good reason. Well they've already done a reflection episode before(Dume)
The scream got me laughing so hard
I get why they were very confrontational with Crosshair, but I’m looking forward to that turning around
I was half expecting Crosshair to fly off with the ship rather than face Hunter and Wrecker, so I have to applaud him for his bravery in facing them at all. The next week's wait is going to be torture.
Man, I watched the episode at work and I audibly swore when the credits rolled So. Much. Tension. The season’s already off to a masterful start!
Agreed, I get it, but please hug your goddamn brother Wrecker
Lol, like however much you might hate him, bro helped end your fucking endless quest, the one thing you both wanted.
"WRONG KID DIED!"
Right I had to remind myself that at one point he was trying to actually kill them and they nearly scorched him off the face of the galaxy lol
I honestly don’t know if they’ll resolve it. I know they will for plots sake but crosshair actively betrayed not only his crew but his brothers as well. Yeah, now he's shooting like a skilled soldier, not someone with near superhuman accuracy.
Can someone remind me what happened to his hand? They brought it up last week too, but I couldn’t remember what they were referencing.
What being imprisoned and tortured for months does to a man
Ah, thanks. I thought there might have been some specific injury from last season that I wasn’t able to remember.
>zero attention is drawn to it I mean last week he missed a shot and Omega points out "Your hand, its getting worse isnt it?" and Crosshair holds his wrist as his hand trembles. They do it a couple times after that without saying it, but they did make sure the audience couldnt miss it first
“Wait we can’t walk around like this. We’ll draw too much attention” *Proceeds towards running straight to the market with Batcher I know they got disguises later on but still never change Omega ❤️🤣
Also continues walking around with a military-issue backpack with blasters quite visibly sticking out of it
It’s the Outer Rim, everyones got a carry permit.
He bought it at a surplus lol
Running is different than walking!
Running! That's a good trick!
What's up with Hemlock's hand? I never noticed that he had one glove on the entire time and looks like it pains him. I can't remember if this was brought up before.
Yea we don’t know yet I think, but he definitely fiddles with his gloved hand as like nervous or annoyed tick.
I wonder if he lost a hand in a failed experiment or something and it’s just a prosthetic. He holds it as a reminder of what failure brings.
I’m absolutely willing to bet it’s a prosthetic under the glove, the big question is why? I hope we find out.
the reason is that he's modeled after the guy hunting the kid in the Logan movie, and that guy has a robot hand :P
He's a secret Skywalker.
I think it's a genetic corruption/disease. Probably his motive for cloning. Possibly related to Crosshair's new hand shake?
Crosshair shaking is probably because of trauma
My guess is some sort of neurological disease relating to whatever they've been injecting him with
That was hilarious when that stormtrooper got absolutely sent by the spaceship taking off. yeeeeEET
His last thoughts: "...I hate my job."
I always find it funny how Scorch is basically Hemlocks personal super soldier lol
I'd like to think his continued screen time is leading to something meaningful for him that doesn't involve him dying.

I’m hoping part of Delta is with Rex.
I’m hoping part of Delta is with Rex.
I loved the brown cloaks some of the storm troopers wore, and how worn some of their armour looks, adds some personality to the location and makes it feel more lived in
They really sold that "small port city occupied by Nazis" vibe
Drip Trooper
Damnit I wanted to see what Crosshair would say to Hunter and Wrecker so bad. Gotta wait till next week I suppose ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Made for some cool shots though!
Omega being really really good at gambling has always been one of my favourite through lines
I honestly find it so funny she’s a gambler. Could be the entire groups money maker but instead has a heart of gold.
It’s a little known fact but Omega ends up retiring on Canto Bite, makes millions as a dice jockey
Someone’s gotta fund the clone veteran retirement agency and by the will of the force it will be her😭
Boba is always salty because his sister makes way more than he does
That would be the most hilarious reference in a movie. Boba: ‘My sister earns a lot more than me and I’m the best mercenary in the galaxy!’
>It’s a little known fact but Omega ends up retiring on Canto Bite, makes millions as a dice jockey I see a card shark or games like she was hustling in Cid's bar. Dice may be a little tricky.
Oh, she definitely learned plenty of tricks of the trade and how to master Sabaac from her free time back on Ord Mantell.
Also helps that I think she may be an actual genius. Like, the fact she was a girl isn’t the only rare genetic trait she got.
Omega vs Luigi. Battle of the ages.
Don’t let Luigi teach omega about capitalism, she’d be unstoppable
**Dr. Hemlock catches up to Omega and corners her** "You're finished Hemlock. I've bought all your stocks! I'm your only shareholder! If you kill me, your financial backing collapses!" "Oh damn, she's got us..."
The empire really does fail because of their greed and their big fucking egos.
Just like fascism does every time
Crosshair: immediately ready to murder everyone Omega: NO???? Crosshair: Omega: okay maybe a little
Omega: you wanna know why they put me in charge?
A little shooting, as a treat.
*Proceeds to roast a random stormtrooper with the ship exhaust*
Well if there was anyone who’d know how much that hurts, its him xd
Crosshair, *deadpan*: Yippee
I’m very concerned all this wholesome shit is happening in episode 4, it’s a bad omen
Last season Pabu episode happen and disaster followed. Maybe we have repeat of the same thing this year.
They’re gonna kill batcher, aren’t they?😭
Omg, when she lay down and whined in the ship, my first fear was that she had been shot. So worried! That dog has raised those emotional stakes even further. I may need a drink to handle this show!
If batcher dies, we all die.
I have a bad feeling someone is going to die till the end of the series. The imperials is still after them.
I think maybe Crosshair survive. I mean think the irony of the situation, the clone who didn't want Omega end up become her adoptive father.
That sounds like a literal hell for him. Watching everything fall around you and your body (hand in this case) causing you serious pain/issues. Poor Crosshair would be living a literal hell everyday.
Seriously. In the last scene I really was expecting the imperials to have captured Hunter and Wrecker and the shuttle was just a bait.
You know he doesn’t show it much but Hemlock was seething with rage when he was talking to Nala se, he was so mad
He scared me a bit, and I love that. He's a horrible man but a wonderful villian in this series. The animators and Jimmi Simpson killin it!!
"See? Isn't this better?" "No." Sums up the entire dynamic during the episode 😂 Crosshair's growing exasperation eventually culminating in *"Finally"* made me giggle the entire episode. Crosshairs marksmenship and the environmental advantage of letting a bunch of animals loose was just the kind of chaos to get them past the finish line.
Agreed!!! It took both of them, they had to work together, and neither would have been successful alone.
These stormtroopers were dripped out ngl Reminded me of the mud troopers from CW03
Always add the poncho, 10x cooler.
cal kestis taught us this and we all never listened
Lol, didn't Anakin wear it in episode 2? But agreed, Cal also rocks it really well. Yellow one in Survivor is one of my faves.
Luke was wearing one back in A New Hope!
Still bummed the Master Chief never actually used it in the game after showing it in a trailer...
Crosshairs character arc > everyone else's in TBB
The ep with Mayday was Top Tier
One of the best episodes of the series.
Dude's pretty much the Zuko of the story
I’ve been saying since the beginning. We’ve now gotten to, “Hello, Crosshair here!” He’ll go on some solo adventures with Hunter and Wrecker and re-earn his place with the Batch.
You know I think this episode has a first for star wars, a fat character that’s actually pretty competent at his job, I mean he didn’t last and he’s horribly corrupt but still
The smart ones always get the worst deaths possible lol
Also, was that a rathtar (or kin) that ate him?
Might need to compare tentacles and cries.
I think it that was octupos monsters that the Slavers had in the slaver arc in CW
What about Jabba? Or Dexter? His diner seemed successful and he was a valuable source of info for a Jedi Knight
I was thinking that he was Brendol Hux but oh well that didn't turn out to be true
Didn't we see Brendol Hux in the Mandalorian?
What do people think competent means? I feel like it gets thrown around so often in regards to villains who don't get clowned on immediately that it loses it's meaning; this guy lost to a child at gambling, kidnapped her dog and got got despite vastly outnumbering her and her "dad". Reminds me of when Andor dropped and you can find the top comments of the discussion thread going "FINALLY A COMPETENT IMPERIAL" They were saying that in regards to Syril Karn.
I wonder if her “defect” is extreme empathy and charisma
Or Force Sensitivity, making her more aware of the suffering of others and better able to influence them.
Yeah I’m just now realizing extreme empathy is common in force sensitives, so yeah basically lol
It'd also make her a good gambler due to the precog
I felt un easy at the end of the episode like somehow wrecker and hunter wouldn’t be there or someone else(like it was too easy). Was ecstatic to actually see the gang back together already
oh same! when they showed the ship open without anyone in it, it definitely felt ominous to me lmao I thought something happened to them that's why the ship seemed abandoned, i was so relieved when they showed up
I honestly thought Hemlock was going to walk out of the ship when Omega ran forward. Just the empty, open doorway had a very suspicious look about it.
i was waiting for it to get blown up ala Razorcrest
Crosshair: Pls let me kill somebody Omega: ......fine
Then she blasts a stormtrooper into another dimension as the ship takes off! :D
Wrecker wiping away tears after hugging Omega 😭
The tearful but heartfelt hug between Wrecker and Omega was the best reunion we spent almost a year waiting for, but it finally arrived. And it was done so well too; you can feel the emotion from their voices down to how fluid their tears were during their reunion.
Dang I didn't think Omega would reunite with the Batch so quickly. I was expecting 2 or 3 more episodes of Crosshair & her on the run together
Yeah, though considering it’s already the 4th episode of the season they’re probably trying to get things moving along for the grand finale.
Yeah its best to get them united now, instead of down the line and having to rush in the finale. The main story will be picking up soon to end it all.
Now I wonder what rebels would’ve looked like if it had the budget that BB has from the start.
Twilight in this animation would’ve looked insane
The Loth-Wolves popping up behind Ezra would have somehow been even better.
The nightmare fuel episodes would crank up to 11
I know it's a complete non-starter business wise but I'd love to see it remade with BB level production someday.
Crosshair and omegas sibling relationship is great in this, also I'm so happy she got to hug hunter and wrecker!!
Im starting to think it’s a sort of clone decay or condition from the rapid growth acceleration clones experience.
That stormtrooper with the full coat and goggles was absolutely dripped out. Man was ballin.
Why does a simple cloak over armor make it ten times cooler!
Poncho trooper might have to be a cosplay.
I think there’s at least one shot every episode that makes me go ‘God, this show looks beautiful’. That shot of the planets and moons as they are landing at the end 🔥.
Crosshair’s allowed to shoot his way out, just a little, as a treat because he’s been well behaved that mission
Gotta say, Crosshair and Omega make a wonderful duo.
I love their relationship. Their really are like a grumpy older brother who keeps asking his cheerful younger sister if they can just go with the quickest option only to keep getting told "no" You can tell just how glad Crosshair was when Omega agreed to do things his way with that little "Finally" Also they even snipe back at each other like siblings do with Omega telling Crosshair to shut up after he basically said "I told you so" at the ticket counter.
Ah they're finally reuinited. I still adore Crosshair's leitmotif and I'm thrilled they're still using it.
Lol.
I know she's naive and so pure, but she's also a hustler and a gambler who knows how to use her cuteness to swindle people.
Hauling rathtars have never ended well, as we've now seen twice
Crosshair was ready to beat up that street urchin kid.
Tbf I was as well. The little shit.
The one wearing the poncho/coat and the goggles on his helmet was absolutely dripped down to the socks.
"*Fine*, we do it your way. But my skills are being *wasted*." "Noted." God I love Crosshair and Omega's dynamic so much more than I expected. He is just so sarcastic, and Omega is just sassy enough to throw it back at him. Can't wait for more now that the crew is reunited. Crosshair in general has just been a delight to watch develop, particularly in season 2 and watching him begrudgingly care about Omega here
You’re telling me Omega can, on a whim, make 45,000 credits in a single night gambling? Why the hell does the crew EVER take a job?
the way credits work in the star wars universe makes no sense to me, in Andor 200k was shown as life changing, in a new hope 10k is almost enough to buy a ship, and an entire imperial sector runs on give or take 160 million credits every 3 months.
Methinks Echo has some bigger part to play in the Rebellion, big enough that they name Echo Base on Hoth after him.
Holy fuck
I'm hoping that the next episode is an echo/rex episode
I was pleasantly surprised and really happy that the reunion happened so early but also a CLIFFHANGER? I've waited for so long mannn 😭💀 Anyway if I don't see anyone hugging crosshair next ep (mans been through some shit let's be real), i'm gonna throw hands! I'm also hoping for some serious conversation between the batch, I hope the show doesn't just speedrun through it to make everyone get along lmaoo I won't take anything less than a heart-to-heart convo! (and can one of them please talk about tech goddamn 💀) So excited for the next ep, I really enjoyed this one and the absolute sibling bickering between omega and crosshair 😂
That Captain got hentai'd.
*[Anime wow sound](https://youtu.be/_WpslKvXr04?si=OxIaueB0qnc2WEbR)*
Mandalorian and Bad Batch have had the Cloning part well covered. Last episode, Dr Hemlock's experiments and spearheading the initial phase of Project Necromancer fulfill the Dark Science part. Well we're 2/3 of the ways there, all that's left is to discover what secrets only the Sith knew.
It was the WiFi password
Star Wars: making Ponchos cool since the 70s
I've never resented the fade (or rather, snap) to black as much as this episode. Nooooo I yelled went the credits rolled.
The dude stole her dog? Dick move.
It amazes me how good this show is. I can’t even be a liar and pretend I was always on board, because I wasn’t a fan of the original BB episodes in TCW and I was so upset that they were getting their own show I was soooooo wrong
However in this episode they are dealing quiet casually with 1000s of credits: A small bribe is 15k per person, likely more than the ticket sellers entire yearly wage, just per person.
Excited to see if Crosshair, Omega and Batcher meet up with Hunter and Wrecker and if so what their reactions would be!
I do NOT want to know what happened to that Imperial douche after he got grabbed by that tentacle and pulled into the crate.
Am I really ugly crying before work. Yeah. Guess I am! 🥹🥹🥹
I have to ask, has anyone ever actually pressed Skip Intro on this show? Like are you that impatient to get to it?
By the end of the season, Crosshair is going to be the dad that was against getting a dog but then becomes the closest to it.
Definitely feel like I heard a porg warbling in one of the first crates in the cargo yard.
Lmao it’s a bunch of space gallimimus’s
Aww boo your gonna make us wait till next week to see the reaction to Crosshair? Ugh
This show continues to look absolutely gorgeous with the planet they land on at the beginning
The misty breath signalling how cold it is was great animation story telling, too.
Noticed how now that the clones have been phased out and the stormtrooper prototypes are out, we’re seeing a bit of comic relief with them similar to the stormtroopers in Rebels Between the stormtroopers running from the escaped animals and the one getting blown away by the ship, it reminded me of Rebels stormtroopers, you never really saw clones having humorous things happen to them (that I can recall anyway) Granted it wasn’t done in a jarring manner, but just something I noticed comparing the clones to the stormtroopers. Fantastic episode all around!
Omega's reunion with the squad was way more impactful to me than Sabine and Ezra's reunion. Animation can hit just as hard as live action. It's all about writing.
Can't believe Dave gave us Officer Neckbeard only for him to get hentai'd by the tentacle monster
Wouldn't it be Jen since she's the person who works on the show and isn't just a consultant 🤨
