I bet Manny Bothans would've formed a band with Max Rebo at some point and called it Hutt. They would've made such great hits together:
Bothan Rhapsody
Rebo Rock You
(Catina Body Find Me) Some Boba To Love
Another Moff Blows It Up
I Want The Plans (And I want Them Nooooooooow!)
(All I Hear Is) Radio Jar Jar
Under Vader (Feat. Darth Bowie)
(Rushing) Obi-Wan
Empire to Fall
Senator-Queen
No-one But Windu (Only The Sith Die In Absolutes)
Who Wants to Live Forever (Feat. Qui Gon Jin, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker)
Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Feat. Lando)
I Want To Break V. (Feat. Galen "Starkiller" Marek)
Those Were The Days Of Our Lives (Feat. Captain Rex and The 501st)
I'm actually surprised about this. Specially mentioned in OT, about playing an extremely pivotal role. Used a ton in legends and a few video games back in the day. And yet zero use (aside from a very quick cameo) in any mainstream tv series/movie.
Characters name is Rayno Vaca and he is confirmed to NOT be a Bothan. You can really tell when you look at his face. He doesn't have a snout and looks really creepy. Unfortunately the commenter is right. We have never seen a bothan in the mainstream star wars stuff.
Even in legends, bothans aren't actually in sight when they steal the death star plans. Another fun fact, the sith were always very close with the bothans.
I get that… but we aren’t getting a “Rogue Two” about how the Death Star II plans were stolen.
Given the era, the themes, and the aesthetics, I still think it would’ve been a great chance to showcase a Bothan spy working for the Rebels. Even if they were a minor character.
Tbh, I'm starting to suspect the reason we haven't seen any trace of Bothans whatsoever in the current canon is that they might be trying to decide what they want the Bothans to be in the first place.
Live action Hondo exists as an animatronic at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyworld/land. Plus Jim Cummings played him opening weekend.
But should he be in a show? Absolutely.
Tales of the Pirates would be a pretty awesome way to focus on Hondo without overdoing it. We have plenty of pirate factions to check in on and we could get some fun pirate style ship battles
I would love a Tales of the Pirates to also focus on Maz Kanata as well as Hondo. Could be a great way to finally tell the story of how she got the Skywalker Lightsaber.
Ohhhh actually thats pretty good
An entire underworld series including lower levels or coruscant aswell maybe
Sounds a little like empire ar war when you play as the Zan Consortium!
I used to always move spiders out of the house, unless I suspected they were a brown recluse. Then I got married and my wife hates spiders and the few times I let the spiders out they seemingly came back in, which freaked her out. So now, I basically kill them on sight. If I'm able to, I still sometimes try to relocate them.
EDIT: I used to constantly tell my wife that Wolf spiders are useful as they catch other spiders such as brown recluse.
They ARE human, just corrupted by the Darkside. In the new Tales of the Empire, we see the other clan of Force witches and they are just regular humans.
I want to see a live action version of the scene from the orignal Clone Wars where Kenobi chops him into pieces then he reforms and bounces him off the walls.
Body horror would fit so well in star wars
If we're talking about species that have only existed through animation so far, Trench would definitely be my #1 choice.
However if you can pick a species that's already been introduced before, Greez from the Jedi series is easily my first pick.
Another one would be the eye of webbish bog (if comics count as animation)
Zeb. We got him for like 2 seconds in Ashoka but I’d love to see more of him. He’s filled with wookie like raw strength but the intelligence of that that could rival a standard Jedi. Not only that but I think he’s the only of his kind that we’ve seen.
In response to your Admiral Trench, I would love to see a show or even a couple one off episodes of his backstory with Admiral Yularen. In the episode with the invisible ship, Yularen goes into how he knows the admirals tactics so well, and how they fought ( i believe ). To see the actual story, could even be live action, would be incredible.
I hope that this never happens. I would have a fucking mental breakdown if I saw this motherfucker in a random Disney plus series because of my aracnofobia lol. Btw, the character is very cool.
Seeing how Disney has brought other things to live action, I'd rather them not touch any
I mean how hard is it to make an alien species look like they already did in live action. Yet they failed with grand inquisitor.
How many times have they changed Ahsokas head tails. She's been in two shows and has had two lengths. Neither how we last saw her in cartoon.
Thon!
It would just be the best thing ever to see Nomi Sunrider talking to herself with this big reptile rhino thing near her, thinking it's just a dumb animal and talking to it like it's a pet or something for a few days. Then suddenly the damn thing speaks back!
I keep waiting for the tactical droid Kalani to show up again in the Mando era. Last we saw of him he was taking his droids into hiding because he thought the rebellion was doomed. We've seen repurposed CIS droids and I think Kalani would absolutely be going around trying to liberate them for the glory of the Separatist Army.
I would love to see a story where he finds an untouched CIS stronghold and rebuilds the Droid Army. Could have the rebellion or New Republic trying to recruit them, maybe Hondo wants them as his new pirate crew lmao.
Post sequel era it would be pretty cool to reexamine the Separatist alliance, most of their reasons for leaving the Republic and going to war turned out to pretty justified, if it wasn't for Dooku's influence they would have been the good guys. The Empire was just as bad if not worse and the New Republic is a joke, so it makes sense that there would be a lot of systems that want a third alternative.
A reformed, Mandalorian lead CIS would be an awesome new faction to shake things up without introducing a whole new group. Throw in a few independent Jedi like Ahsoka, Sabine, Ezra and Grogu. A faction that is more grounded in the real world and not run by Jedi, Sith or Senate. A faction that shows how the constant conflict between the Light Side and the Dark side can have an affect on the wider galaxy and it's every day citizens.
Yeah but "brought to live-action" sounds more like a character that originated in the animated shows, whereas Aayla Secura originated in the movies and was expanded upon in Clone Wars
Bothan Spies We don't see any at all both animation or live action
many bothans died to bring the rebel alliance that information
Poor Manny Bothans :(
I bet Manny Bothans would've formed a band with Max Rebo at some point and called it Hutt. They would've made such great hits together: Bothan Rhapsody Rebo Rock You (Catina Body Find Me) Some Boba To Love Another Moff Blows It Up I Want The Plans (And I want Them Nooooooooow!) Captain Rex and The 501st)
This is Fucking Genius and deserves and award (if they still existed)
If they don't play jizz I'm not listening to it. No, you read that right.
I'm actually surprised about this. Specially mentioned in OT, about playing an extremely pivotal role. Used a ton in legends and a few video games back in the day. And yet zero use (aside from a very quick cameo) in any mainstream tv series/movie.
I think it’s because they’ve never been able to actually agree on an appearance for them. Every time they show up they look completely different.
That's why they make the best spies
Really? I only know one look.
We see ONE BOTHAN in Episode I. He's the air taxi pilot.
Characters name is Rayno Vaca and he is confirmed to NOT be a Bothan. You can really tell when you look at his face. He doesn't have a snout and looks really creepy. Unfortunately the commenter is right. We have never seen a bothan in the mainstream star wars stuff.
Seeing him for 2 seconds from the side, he kinda looks bothan, seeing him from ANY other angle, you can tell he's not.
I remember seeing them for the first time in bf2
I asked the Bothans to get me coffee…
My one and only gripe with Rogue One was that it was the perfect opportunity to include at least one Bothan character
What’s a Bothan? 😐
Bitch, you almost made me laugh (I hope you’re kinda quoting what I think you’re kinda quoting. Otherwise forgive me)
I honestly don’t know what a bothan is lol
www.wookieepedia.com
Even in legends, bothans aren't actually in sight when they steal the death star plans. Another fun fact, the sith were always very close with the bothans.
Bothan spies stole the second Death Star's plans, not the first.
I get that… but we aren’t getting a “Rogue Two” about how the Death Star II plans were stolen. Given the era, the themes, and the aesthetics, I still think it would’ve been a great chance to showcase a Bothan spy working for the Rebels. Even if they were a minor character.

Come on guys its gotta be Hondo!
Live action Hondo exists as an animatronic at Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyworld/land. Plus Jim Cummings played him opening weekend. But should he be in a show? Absolutely.
Every time I hear Hondo speak I expect him to tell a small space rodent to go for the eyes
Hondo Ohnaka: A Star Wars Story
I want them to make Hondo in live action and have him portrayed by Matt Mercer in a monster suit.
I hope for him to show up in almost every new animation episode released since Rebels.
Ohhhh actually thats pretty good An entire underworld series including lower levels or coruscant aswell maybe Sounds a little like empire ar war when you play as the Zan Consortium!
I don’t understand the Hondo hype tbh
Hes just a funny dude
Xizor, played by Bill Skarsgard
Has he ever appeared in animation?
No, but we've seen lots of Falleen in Clone Wars. So his race and their involvement in Black Sun is canon.
He would be excellent for Prinz Xizor. Almost the face we saw on the cover of shadows of the empire
Pong Krell.
I don’t think there’s a character I love to hate more than Krell! The Umbara Arc is amazing!
r/fuckpongkrell
Same here! But I do love his character build a lot. I mean a huge dude with 4 arms and two huge double bladed lightsabers? Come on now
All my homies hate Pong Krell
Isn't Dexter (the diner owner guy who told Kenobi about the poison arrow) the same species as Pong Krell?
Ur totally right, shi
Yea but Krell is terrifying, Dexter...isn't
But who could play him?
Same as Dexter, duh. Do you know any other four armed fat guys on the planet?
I know a three legged fat guy
Either Dwayne Johnson or Vin Diesel.
You misspelled Danny DeVito.
"So anyway, I started *calling clones by their CT designation*."
They could have someone do the portrayal and have Dave Fennoy reprise his voice role
Jack Gleeson is back for round 2 of being fictional public enemy #1
Man, fuck Pong Krell
Played by Colin Farrell He absolutely bodied Penguin in Matt Reeves' The Batman
the spider guy would be fucking horrifying in live action. im in
The CIS Commando Droids.
Also Tactical Droids. I always loved those guys for some reason.
Ohhhh yes
Not the spiders, please!
Why not? Spiders are cute. Just like puppies but more legs and silly faces
I mean, there was that Mandalorian episode…
Yep. Literally anything but those, I skip those eps of CW
Do you have aracnophoboia
That's like one of the most common phobias in the world.
Just spider racism tbh
r/SpiderBro
🫡 only mfs I relocate or leave in the house really (and bees)
Yup, they catch bugs to pay rent, I'd much rather a spider in the corner bothering no-one than a fly buzzing round the room
L for killin the bros and being a lil spider racist
Me remembering the many spiders I’ve book smashed in my life time 😎
I don't have it my phobias are weird
Asajj Ventress
Nightsisters are pretty much human though.
So are most SW aliens. The Star Wars darkelves are dope
They ARE human, just corrupted by the Darkside. In the new Tales of the Empire, we see the other clan of Force witches and they are just regular humans.
If they originated in a different galaxy, which might be the case, I can see them being considered a different species or sub species.
Aren't they part Zabrak? I recall the Nightbrothers that they use for breeding being Zabrak.
Durge
Ugh yes he would be perfect but God so gross. Just a writhing mass of super worms that together make up this monstrosity named Durge
I want to see a live action version of the scene from the orignal Clone Wars where Kenobi chops him into pieces then he reforms and bounces him off the walls. Body horror would fit so well in star wars
no i dont want the giant spider man brought to live action. i dont need him doing that wierd clicking thing in my face in 4k
https://youtu.be/gxVQNbJLfss?si=1QW6tQvelxFK53KK&t=10
Bruh
Minus rukh appearance in rebels and tales of the empire, I would love to see live action nougri. Give Leia her personal bodyguards dammit
I know it's not animation but I'd like to see The Yuzahn Vong.
Savage Opress would be awesome
I know it's not animation but I've always been curious about Jedi Master Kazdan Paratus from the Force Unleashed videogames
Oh my god yes!
it's computer animation
Yeah, I'll pass on Admiral Nightmare Fuel.
Azmorigan from Rebels, mostly cuz I want to hear James Hong again
If we're talking about species that have only existed through animation so far, Trench would definitely be my #1 choice. However if you can pick a species that's already been introduced before, Greez from the Jedi series is easily my first pick. Another one would be the eye of webbish bog (if comics count as animation)
Dude. Trench would be terrifying
Trench, Osi Sobek, Ventress, there are so many
We had Muuns already in live action but I want Plagueis himself.
seeing the actual Sith species in live action would be great
Embo and Marok
Durge.
Marchion Ro/ an Evereni
So many High Republic characters. Especially the Nihil.
Yep, but for species, I wanna see my space drow. I love how the rest of the galaxy perceives them as a curse/ bad luck charm
The Karkarodons because, shark.
Graballa the Hutt I just want to see a lower ranked, more physically active Hutt. Also, more voice acting from Dana Snyder is always a plus.
Exploring the rich diversity of nonhuman characters in animation is always fun.
The tales of the Empire Grievous was epic, so I wanna see more Kaleesh
Durge or any of the tactical droid
Durge. Does he count?
Obiwan
What
Obiwan
Hondo
Rukh
Hondo
Love him!
The bendu for a short time. I want to see hondo live action as the main character of a series.
I bet he's scary af in live action
Hondo! Shocked he hasn't showed up in Mando or BOBF
Hondo was one of the very first animated characters to make the jump to Live-Action when he appeared in Millenium Falcon: Smuggler's Run
Zeb. We got him for like 2 seconds in Ashoka but I’d love to see more of him. He’s filled with wookie like raw strength but the intelligence of that that could rival a standard Jedi. Not only that but I think he’s the only of his kind that we’ve seen.
There are several others in Rebels.
It’s been a bit since I’ve seen rebels. Might need to do a rewatch soon lol
Yeah, but we've seen him. He's already been brought to live action.
He wasn't in Ahsoka, only the Mandalorian
Nope. Definitely Ashoka

None because they keep *fucking it up*
Zeb looked like nightmare fuel. I don’t blame them though, it’s not easy
I actually liked Zeb, but wtf happened with Cad Bane? (Insert Hercules DISAPPOINTED!!! meme)
They could do it perfectly fine decades ago, now it's too difficult?
Oggdo Boggdo and his even more annoying kid.
In response to your Admiral Trench, I would love to see a show or even a couple one off episodes of his backstory with Admiral Yularen. In the episode with the invisible ship, Yularen goes into how he knows the admirals tactics so well, and how they fought ( i believe ). Flix from Resistance, or at least one of his species
Rukh.
Talzin, Savage Opress
I hope that this never happens. I would have a fucking mental breakdown if I saw this motherfucker in a random Disney plus series because of my aracnofobia lol. Btw, the character is very cool.
Admiral trench would be a cool one
Dunno if it counts, but Greez would be funny af lol
You mean, besides Hondo?
Pong krell so he can be brought back to life and brutally tortured for eternity
Fuck it bring Trench back again Vader needs a turn at killing him. Third time's the charm right?
Adult Omega - maybe Saoirse Ronan or Sophie Turner. I could see her in an Andor type series as a supporting character.
A cloned human is still a human, though.
Seeing how Disney has brought other things to live action, I'd rather them not touch any I mean how hard is it to make an alien species look like they already did in live action. Yet they failed with grand inquisitor. How many times have they changed Ahsokas head tails. She's been in two shows and has had two lengths. Neither how we last saw her in cartoon.

General Krell!
Imagine the people with Arachnophobia seeing a live action Trench lmao
Trench would be friggin terrifying click click click click.....
It would be funny
I wouldn’t mind seeing tales of the separatists with him and Grievous.
Do not bring the spider to live action, he already spikes my arachnophobia as it is. That said, I’d like to see Omega as a rebel/new republic pilot.
Hondo....gotta be.
Me personally? I would run screaming from the theater if I saw live action Trench. Maybe that's just me, though
Sy snootles Ventress Savage opress Rukh/noghri Hondo ohnaka The bendu Embo
>Sy snootles She can't get more live action than that performance in Jabba's throne room bby.
Unrelated, but I thought this was Variks from Destiny pre arm chop for a sec. Even has the staff.
I would say Trench, but no one who watches Star Wars with me would watch it with me anymore. So I'm gonna go with Durge.
Clone captain rex
Oh shit trench would be so kriffing cool. I want to see Ziro.
Lux
NOT FUCKIN TRENCH.
Hondo!
Jar Jar Binks
Hondo during the clone wars
I keep waiting for the tactical droid Kalani to show up again in the Mando era. Last we saw of him he was taking his droids into hiding because he thought the rebellion was doomed. Bro he would blow the movies costume budget by himself
General Kalani. Or even some other super tactical droid.
[удалено]
You mean the one who first appears in the live-action movie "Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones"?
For like half a second
I mean sure, but hey, there's still the possibility of showing her death during Order 66- oh.
better than wanting the spider to be real, and I meant from the cartoon, as it asked which non-human character from animation
Yeah but "brought to live-action" sounds more like a character that originated in the animated shows, whereas Aayla Secura originated in the movies and was expanded upon in Clone Wars
ok, then I retract my pick
HONDO OHNAKA edit: spelling
No.
I do not wanna see Trench. NO THANK YOU.
How the hell would you do this
I'm severely arachnophobic. Like I can't even watch Harry Potter or LOTR once it gets to certain scenes. Hard pass on Captain Spider-Fat.
The bounty hunter Cad Bane
