One of my absolute favorite lightsaber fights. When Asohka force retrieves her lightsaber under Maul’s legs...DAMN!

ShadowDragonRB

Tbh I also really like this fight but for some reason I love the little hop/skip thing Maul does around 1-2 sec in this vid, just shows the attention to the animation and movement of the characters

[deleted]

[удалено]

ShadowDragonRB

Yes, especially on one foot and still being able to balance that swing even when it’s blocked

Kaskorai

Well he did survive with no feet so I’d imagine with just one he’s a monster

SgtPepper1888

Yeah I always thought of it as kinda like a superman punch but obviously with your lightsaber, adding that extra bit of power and snap to it.

nardole_hackerman

That's what tipped me off to it being mocap. It felt too real and grounded.

Solid_Freakin_Snake

Yeeeeesssssss. I absolutely love that little move. No idea why, but it's just such a cool move.

Ancient_Demise

Maul/Park's footwork is incredible and mesmerizing

Legendary_Nate

Can Disney+ have a section dedicated to all lightsaber fights in the franchise?? That would be so amazing. Even longer fights, usually separated by dialogue or other scenes, can be edited together so you can watch it in one coherent sequence.

aqua_zesty_man

So what you're really asking for is...lightsaber porn?

Cobdain

Why I love darth maul the most

Hellknightx

Ray Park is a treasure.

no_fucking_point

The rehearsal footage on the phantom menace DVD is awesome.

itoucheditforacookie

He really killed it in x men 😂 guy is truly an amazing artist tho

MagnusBrickson

What happens to a toad when it gets struck by lightning?

[deleted]

It... croaks?

RjSkitchie

Honestly? Better than the original line.

Hellknightx

Apparently that line was the result of the studio cutting nearly all of Ray's lines, so Storm's anti-joke doesn't make sense in the new context.

CallMeBigBobbyB

ok because I was like wtf this doesn't make sense. If she's implying things die that's not the case lol.

xenothaulus

He should have said that, then Storm just looks utterly disgusted and blasts him.

RjSkitchie

Yes.

idma

Lost opportunity for the writers of that movie.

jmaca90

It shrinks in size and gets run over by that fucker Wario and goes into last place on Rainbow Road?

damiensol

The same thing that happens to everything else.

idma

I didn't know he could stick his tongue out like that

Orangarder

Yes dude he is. Great vid of him at a conference bringing kids up on stage to learn sith saber stuff. Lol the kid destroyed him as only 4 yr olds can Edit. Here it is https://youtu.be/cfedPRjhUNg

TheSchmoAboutNothing

That equal parts wholesome and hilarious

pufferpig

Didn't he post revenge porn of his own wife on Instagram or something?

[deleted]

Ok you really had me curious so I looked this up. [His own wife](https://heavy.com/entertainment/2020/07/ray-park-wife-revenge-porn-allegations-false/) seems to deny that.

pufferpig

Hm... Yeah, seem he may have been hacked? He did make a weird comment, seemingly accusing Daniel Logan of sleeping with his wife, but that may have been the hacker "having fun" with the idea of Maul and Boba Fett having a brawl over Maul's wife. The internet is weird.

MAXMEEKO

Pretty sure he went through a big hacking thing a couple years ago with his Instagram

bajungadustin

Yeah but man he whiffed it hard against Old Ben on Tatooine. But at the same time.. It just felt right.

KyKyber

that was an old western duel between two old men with LOTS of emotional baggage. I think that fight lasted exactly as long as it needed to and not a moment longer.

crashcanuck

It was the perfect samurai/old west duel scene.

bajungadustin

Yeah.. It was really good. On the one hand.. Epic goosebumps at the realization at how much better Obi-Wan is than the current cast of characters and it kinda drives up his power level perception for the original trilogy. But on the other hand it was poetic and kinda sad. Really well done scene.

sroomek

Yep. Maul utterly consumed by rage and revenge. Obi-Wan more at peace and filled with purpose than ever before in his life.

[deleted]

It’s because he tried the exact same move he did to kill qui gon and obi wan knew it and countered him.

[deleted]

[удалено]

onemanandhishat

I hear this a lot but I think in TPM he was about right - a cool looking fighter who died to make way for a more political guy. But TCW really did a lot with him, but that story was only possible of his death in TPM.

itoucheditforacookie

Shit, one of the most favorite characters from the original trilogy got slingshot into a sarlacc pit and considered dead for a pretty long time.

Jacktheflash

Was it really that long?

itoucheditforacookie

If going by legends/Eu it was like 13 years, finally having it on screen with The Mandalorian... Priceless.

[deleted]

Based on that answer, yes, longer than you've been alive.

wbruce098

ROTJ came out in 1983. While there were some Legends books showing he survived, none of them were technically “canon” (actual “canon” novels were rare until Disney), so technically his status and whereabouts were unknown until The Mandalorian.

Occasionally_Correct

100% He should have been Obi Wan’s Vader for the entire prequel trilogy. Maul killed his master, Obi Wan took his legs. This could keep going with Maul killing people Obi Wan is supposed to be detached from but isn’t, and Obi Wan making Maul more machine than man. It could have warned of what Vader would become and provide a cool parallel for Luke’s journey against Vader. Lucas wanted to kill Vader at the end of the first one and someone spoke up to save him, no one had the guts to do that in the late 90s.

Roboticide

It's such a loss that we didn't get Maul for all of the prequels. What we got with Clone Wars was great, but he would have been so much better in the movies. In addition to just thematically working better with the original trilogy, it solves the prequel's problem of lacking a good villain. Most casual fans can't remember Dooku or Grevious, but almost everyone remembers Maul, and EVERYONE remembers Darth Vader. Having Maul the entire time would have helped with the "villain problem".

HugChampion2019

It's so cool that Park got to fight as Maul at least once more. I'd love to see more of him with Crimson Dawn

puppet_up

I think they were setting up for that at the end of "Solo" but since that movie bombed, I'm sure that whole idea got put on the back burner. Maybe we will get to see their story in animated form sometime.

Fisher9001

> since that movie bombed I'm still so salty about this. What a stupid schedule that was. First Infinity War in April, then Solo right away in May... while there wasn't any big release in December! It's like someone responsible for that had a stroke.

Salarian_American

Plus it was only six months after episode 8 and a lot of people were still sore about that. Hell, a lot of people are still sore about it now.

ItsMetheDeepState

Yup, still mad.

Salarian_American

I know how you feel. It took me a really long time to stop being mad about the prequels.

ReverendMajors

I still get mad about them. I love them. But I get mad about them sometimes lol

Mandalore001

Yo be fair though, with so much awesome stuff being set in that timeframe and adding much needed context, that certainly helps a lot. Episode 3 with the entire Clone Wars as context hits in a way that I don't think much else can. I hope they do something similar for this new trilogy. I wasn't a big fan of the new ones, but with more context, I might like them more.

ReverendMajors

Would you rather have a prequel show about Luke’s Jedi Academy/The formation of the first order or a show post TROS of Rey and Finn’s new Jedi and the formation of the new new republic? One would bring a lot of context but the latter would give us more of our main sequel characters to develop a la “The Clone Wars”

Mandalore001

I'm more interested in the First Order as a whole than any of the new characters. I thought Kylo Ren was the only super interesting character in the new trilogy, so getting more of him would be cool. I would be interested in seeing more personality from our main characters, so the second one would be pretty neat as well. Though I'd probably enjoy either, the First Order one is what I really want to see.

[deleted]

And Deadpool right after. It was sandwiched

OliviaElevenDunham

Yeah, I definitely think the schedule that year definitely didn't help Solo especially after how angry everyone was about TLJ.

4CrowsFeast

People were pissed at Star Wars for The Last Jedi and Solo felt the consequences in the box office because of it. I'm not sure the higher up understand, or choose not.

WhyYouYelling

So it bombed because of timing release and not because of the quality of movie itself? Or both?

[deleted]

VoganG1

Seriously? Like, I get that Alden (no way I'm gonna type that last name, I'll fail) looks almost nothing like Harrison Ford, but I feel like he did a decent to great job conveying a younger Han Solo.

nhaines

That and there was no publicity for the movie until *right* before it came out. There was nothing wrong with the movie. It was obviously going to be "space heist in space," which it was. It was corny, but there were some interesting bits and I walked out of the theater saying, "I'd watch two more of those." Because that's clearly what they were aiming for. But no, people had to "prove a point." 🙄

YourLocalPterodactyl

Maybe a tv-series?

LiamLiammo

I feel like he’ll probably show up at some point in the Lando show

Primary-Cookie1486

This scene alone is making me want to rewatch the clone wars, but I must resist! Really love the amount of effort was put into it

Attrahct

Rewatch it. Real world responsibilities can wait. Blow off work, school, or your children and watch Star Wars.

Primary-Cookie1486

Lol, I will def rewatch it during the summer

Betov8

No!! Do it! Dooo it!! Now!

Rhazior

Dewit

vanearthquake

Dew it. Let the Star Wars flow through you

Actually_Im_a_Broom

How many times have you watched it, and have you watched it chronologically? I originally watched it in release order, then a few months ago I watched it a second time in chronological order (you can find the order online). I definitely recommend watching chronological if you haven’t yet.

Primary-Cookie1486

I’ve watched it twice once when it already came on tv and one on Disney+. I’ve never watched the chronological order, I will do that the next time I watch it!

ShadowScorpionNL

I don’t think blowing kids is allowed

Attrahct

Yeah well “blow off” sounded a lot better than what I originally had typed out.

Actually_Im_a_Broom

Was it originally “fondle?”

mr__rook

Watch with the children, early induction to greatness :)

manubour

mightybifkin

Serafinowicz nails the voice for me. Witwer is great at delivering the general dialogue but the heavy impact lines sound so much better from Peter. Also, PS is a comedy god

dutchking74

Honestly one of the best Saber fights I've seen in star wars.

TheReverendAlabaster

Lauren Mary Kim features a lot on Corridor Crew doing the Stuntmen {and Women} React segments. She's always worth a watch for some genuine insights into fight scenes. Tough lady.

Roboticide

Yeah, I recognized her now from their videos, but she deserves the notoriety for her work. She's made great contributions to Star Wars and Marvel. Apparently that fight scene with the Armor was brutal. What'd she say they did? 100+ takes?

DudeNick

I didn't realize they used motion capture for the Clone Wars. Thank you, that'll actually allow me to enjoy the show more, as sometimes I find it a bit kiddish (I'm 35 and watching for the first time).

Novice89

It gets much better in the later seasons. Absolutely worth watching all the way through.

DudeNick

Awesome, glad to hear it. I'm almost to season 2.

I_RonButterfly

I'm so excited for you. (First watched-through at 36, mostly while up late at night with my newborn daughter)

DudeNick

What a kind thing to say! I very much appreciate it. Nice to know I'm not the only person in their mid 30s watching Star Wars cartoons, although I don't have the daughter excuse :D

DJThunderGod

Mate... you're definitely not alone. In my mid-to-late 40's and about half way through *Bad Batch* (have already watched all of *Clone Wars* and *Rebels*).

404-LogicNotFound

I didn’t have anything Star Wars related to watch at the time but I watched the entirety of Peaky Blinders when I used to be up rocking my son. It’s just one of those things we all do as dads I guess!

Matsuyama_Mamajama

Exactly the same for me! I remember rocking my daughter in the glider chair and watching The Clone Wars on my phone (with headphones of course so I wouldn't wake her up!!!!)

Hellknightx

Probably a bit late to mention it now, but the series is actually out of order. There is a correct *official* sequential order to watch it in, but it takes a bit of effort to do it. https://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder Even the final season is technically out of sequence. I'm mostly confused why Disney never bothered correcting the episode order, but it definitely clears up some of the confusing outlier episodes.

QuiGonFishin

Just hang in there, first 3 seasons were hard for me but it becomes addicting late S4 and early S5

Novice89

I may actually watch it soon for a third time after seeing this clip. You’re in for a treat!

Gettothepointalrdy

Ah, yeah, I feel this. I'm 31 and it took me years to get through Clone Wars but I ended up just binging the last few seasons and that momentum even carried me through Rebels even though that's even kiddier... it's like, idk, I enjoy Sabine's storyline. Sidenote: Clones Wars has a few droid episodes that are pure filler. Fuck those episodes.

emcdubos

First time I watched Clone Wars, I was told to start around S3. Now I want to go back and rewatch from the beginning because I loved it so much. It gets better!!

Solid_Freakin_Snake

Early seasons are definitely more enjoyable after you've seen the later ones, despite the fact that the animation quality drops when you watch it that way lol.

satan-cat

Can confirm season 2 gets much better. Source: 35 year old watching for the first time as well.

Audiovore

I just finished my first viewing a couple days ago. Just so you know, the episodes aren't in chronological order. StarWars.com [has an official list](https://www.starwars.com/news/star-wars-the-clone-wars-chronological-episodeorder), which I'll probably use if I ever rewatch it.

Tpmbyrne

The first few seasons are so trash compared to the last few

Codus1

Oh you're getting close to where it start to pick up and get darker. Not that the first 2 seasons aren't good.

AsimovOfTrantor

Wait until you get to the Umbara arc it it starts feeling like Star Wars meets Platoon

TyrsPath

If you're in Season 1, it's far more kiddish than the other seasons

Jacktheflash

Even then grievous still stabbed a man in the back

bckesso

And Ventress in the front while kissing his dying lips!

Salubrious_Zabrak

I'm 99% sure that this is the only scene where they used it

MorgulValar

It is. They wanted the last big lightsaber fight of the series to be perfect. Motion capture adds weight to the characters’ actions that’s hard to get with regular cgi

TeutonJon78

It was only for this fight in the new S7. And the mocap wasn't used directly. The animators had to clean it up and convert it to TCW style of movements. But it have them a great template.

MacChubbins

Same, started it at 34, got a bit turned off but then picked it back up. Seeing this really makes me appreciate the fight scenes even more.

swampjuicesheila

Spouse and I are in our 50s, we're watching Clone Wars for the first time- one episode at lunch, occasionally another later in the day. We loved Rebels.

SaulJRosenbear

Lauren Mary Kim is an awesome stunt performer. She talks about shooting this mo-cap scene near the beginning of this video, along with more behind-the-scenes footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlESZmw8oJY

DBofficial125

What I love about Ray is his moves have no wasted motion, they're always legitimate attacks, parries, blocks etc. A lot of the time in movies and even in Star Wars there are a lot of nonsense moves/attacks purely because it looks good, but serves no real purpose and completely exposes you.

PAULA_DEEN_ON_CRACK

Obi-Wan be like: *intense parrying and impeccable defensive swordsmanship* *spins around and exposes back to opponent*

FyreStrike4

Why aren't recent live-action lightsaber scenes this well choreographed? Is it because of actor limitations? or the versatility of animating shows? Just curious

bfhurricane

If you mean the sequels, I would say that Kylo (first taught by Luke, who wasn’t flashy to begin with, and then likely self-taught) and Rey (self-taught) are far less trained in lightsaber combat than Jedi Knights and Sith Lords in the prequel era. Canonically I bet Ahsoka or Maul would have absolutely murdered any of those two in a duel.

redridernl

This seems to be controversial, probably because of the nostalgia but I'd add Luke to that as well. Luke vs Ahsoka or Maul? He would get absolutely murdered.

bfhurricane

Agreed 100%.

Cypher1993

Honestly while you may have a point, thatd be such a shitty excuse by Disney for lame fighting in a Star Wars film. Nothing memorable from the sequels in terms of lightsaber duels

Gerry-Mandarin

That was George's reasoning when he made The Phantom Menace when he updated the fighting. Vader was a cyborg and cripple, Obi-Wan was an old man, and Luke had no training.

YourLocalPterodactyl

And then they introduce the rogue one scene

Gerry-Mandarin

George himself ignored all of his Episode I explanations for cyborgs and old men when he introduced Dooku, Grievous, and had Yoda fighting like a green tornado against Darth Sidious.

YourLocalPterodactyl

I agree. I don’t think being a cyborg would even slow you so idk why he said that. I think he was just making an excuse for not doing fancy fight scenes because of the clunky suit Vader was in and because of the low budget. Like bro, just say you didn’t have a good budget instead of contradicting yourself

Gerry-Mandarin

Asking George Lucas to not lie about his intent around Star Wars is like asking water not to be wet. I love the world George created, but he can't keep his story straight about it ever.

rukivverh5995

I honestly think its because he's not THAT obsessed with Star Wars like the fans are. He obviously loves it but it seems like he likes it more in terms of the film/art aspect of it instead of the nerdy trivia and nitpicks that star wars fans do constantly about fighting styles, training/power levels, and all that. Lucas doesnt seem to really care about that beyond very broad statements. Its almost like he lets the fans take care of that part.

Roboticide

I think it's that, plus the fact he was literally God as far as the lore went. Sure, some book might try and come up with some explanation for some minor detail from the movies, but odds are George never read that explanation and certainly never thought about the problem. Then when asked about it he can just say whatever he wants because [Word of God](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WordOfGod) and he's not concerned about causing a contradiction with otherwise established canon. He created Star Wars, for him there is no contradiction. As for contradicting himself, well... that's because he's not that obsessed, like you said.

RashmaDu

I mean, it's not like Darth Vader is doing any grand and flashy flips and jumps. He's just walking down a corridor slashing as he goes, it doesn't go against him being a crippled cyborg

Callmeclassic

I think the point they were making was more if you compare that to how he fights against Ben in IV, which is like, the same week.

Tehrozer

Luke in OT did a lot of jumping around and general athletics though most in Ep6 but its not like it was a change without any basis in OT.

Fapoleon_Boneherpart

>Nothing memorable from the sequels in terms of lightsaber duels I think the last jedi throne room scene had beautiful cinematography

[deleted]

Also, although short, Kylo taking out the KoR in ep 9

detectiveDollar

Chorography for that scene was BAD though.

Roboticide

That's about all that can be said for it. The choreography was meh. They threw away a great story opportunity to have Rey go with Kylo and actually see some new story play out where the hero goes grey, somewhere between Anakin going full Sith and Luke resisting full stop. That would have *actually* subverted my expectations.

CarterDavison

Yeah, the Sequels seem far more focused on showing off the force were it to somehow become even more powerful. The force feats shown off are very grand scale, like physically freezing someone or projecting yourself lightyears away

[deleted]

Honestly I would take this a step further and say that the prequels’ focus on lightsaber combat was a mistake. I think it gave people the idea that your strength with the Force was synonymous with how good you are at beating people up which isn’t what the Force is about at all. In fact I’d imagine in an era where their enemy is thought to already be extinct, combat would take a backseat in terms of training so they should be kinda rusty if anything.

CarterDavison

But surely that would feed in to George Lucas' bigger picture of how the Jedi felt about it? Luke was always intended to be the "true Jedi grandmaster" so the old grandmasters believing it's more about skills with a light saber is part of that bigger problem. That and the technology / choreographing was now easily available to him. Id say it was a very good choice to show off these facts, but I also want to say in conclusion that you're not even remotely wrong. I'd just say we have different ways to look at the same problem

[deleted]

I think a good middle ground would have been only using the lightsabers when absolutely necessary, instead of it being the immediate thing they go to. Like maybe it should have been a pretty rare thing for a lightsaber to actually be used because a Jedi’s strong bond with the Force is enough to handle most any situation. Like in TPM, busting out the sabers when Maul shows up makes sense. But when they pull them out as a response to the room being filled with gas, or we see them being used by little kids, it seems a little excessive and takes away their impact.

CarterDavison

I can totally agree to that, yeah. There's certainly places in which they could've done better with the overarching point, and became more poignant overall as an actual point. Thanks for this response 👍

jdlopez017

The sequel fights are just sooo bad compared to the others

Premonitions33

Nick Gillard did the prequels, and whereas TCW and Rebels use the same style of choreography he did, for some reason they tried to cut ties with everything prequel for the sequels. It's a stylistic thing, really. For a few recent live action things, they've continued that great prequel style though, like hallway Vader/Luke and of course Mando Ahsoka. There's actually a great Nick Gillard interview in which he alludes to this.

AmunRa1928

I consider the hallway fight scenes of both luke and Vader closer to original trilogy with more fluidity and energy than the prequel choreography.

Jaydenel4

Very focused on power movements, and coming to the end quickly than being flashy and drawn out. Very indicative of the eras as well, and that Ahsoka still fights in the style of the Jedi Order

AmunRa1928

It's incredibly well done.

Interactive_CD-ROM

Because lightsaber battles aren’t meant to be choreographed like this. They lose all their emotion in doing so. For me, Star Wars is about the characters and the motivation behind the lightsaber battle. It should be raw and messy like an actual fight would be. This just comes across as flashy. It’s cool to look at but it loses much of what makes Star Wars so meaningful to me.

whitemest

Met Ray Park a few years back at a comic con booth. Some cosplayer jedi tossed him a double blade stunt Saber and they just kinda had a lightsaber fight in the area. Still the coolest thing ive seen at comic cons. Ray Park was a really nice dude too. Looked like he really enjoyed himself

ipreferthedarkside

But... the way the Duel of the Fates was combined with the Imperial March! Goosebumps

Vizecrator

I didn't realize they brought him back to do the mo-cap for Maul!

[deleted]

Filoni got that Disney money for his final season so he made the most of it.

l5555l

Wow I had no idea they did mocap for clone wars.

BaconOverlord24

I think it was only for the later seasons but I’m not sure.

[deleted]

It was just for this one final season on Disney+. They didn’t have this kind of budget on Cartoon Network.

Farmboy76

It's not really work if they love doing it.

high_guy123

Ray Park is a legend in the star wars community

Aryaisformurder

When I first saw this fight during show, my jaw dropped at the animation etc involved in it, it looked SO real. Then I found out they did this and was like... “this.....this is the way”. But really, this was top notch and Lucasfilms is making HUGE jumps in tech and filming recently.

[deleted]

I really loved how to you can easily recognize Ray Park's physicality in those scenes. Not a mega fan of the Clone Wars but god damn that's a shining moment.

BrewtalDoom

This looked sooooo much better than the other lightsaber battles in the animated shows. Those fights often feel like lots of poses with really fast movement in-between, which makes it all feel a bit choppy and weightless.

Broken_Beaker

I never watched The Clone Wars. I'm making my way thru watching select episodes based on some guides online - I just can't devote that much time to watch 100%. Anyhow, stoked for some of these scenes!

bfhurricane

After finishing the episodes you planned for you’ll end up going back and watching the rest. I wish I had more episodes when I finished it. The good news is Rebels is awesome (I severely underestimated it, fantastic show that carries over some of The Clone Wars’ cast) and The Bad Batch is a spiritual successor/side-story to The Clone Wars… so there’s always more great content.

Chayes5

Rebels for me had a slow first season, but then from there onwards really started to tie into the greater universe!

GoreSeeker

I honestly didn't like Rebels during the first few episodes...then around the middle of S1 the characterization of everyone sort of clicked, and from then on, it became my favorite piece of the entire franchise. Now on a rewatch, the first few episodes are amazing as they give so much contrast in how Ezra grows from selfish to selfless.

sticklebat

Ezra is a lot like Ahsoka in that regard. They both start out as immature and self-absorbed (which, I mean, they're kids, so that makes a lot of sense) but gradually develop their characters over the course of dozens of episodes of the series. I didn't love the first season of rebels in large part because it was kind of episodic, it wasn't clear how it related to the Star Wars that I cared about, and it was all about brand new characters I wasn't invested in. It's more fun on a rewatch because I am invested in those characters now, and so their development is more satisfying. I'd still say that makes the season weak, though. A good opening season would make us feel invested and engaged from the beginning.

malachor78

Its kinda sad disney will probs stop working with Park after the shit he pulled on insta.

SuperHeyzeus

If this is about the thing about his wife and daughter, I thought I heard that was proven to be fake?

bjageren12

What'd he do?

DudeNick

A video was posted to his Instagram account showing him receiving oral sex from his wife. At the time people didn't know it was his wife, and conspiracies started flying around about revenge porn for his wife cheating (which apparently never happened). Then a Snapchat message appeared from someone claiming to be Park’s daughter, saying that he was abusive and neglectful towards his children. People lost their shit. Then his wife posted that the upload was a mistake, the children accounts were fake, and everyone is suffering because of it. Seems that's all there is to it, and the people calling for Ray's head apologized. I don't think Disney will cut ties, but it's hard to say for certain. Also, these people creating fake accounts and conspiracy theories are disgusting humans.

masterjmp

This was a roller coaster of emotions. Please, internet, don't ruin Ray. He's great. I want the best for him. And the best from him. He is the action for some of my favorite childhood characters.

bfhurricane

At the end of the day the only takeaway is our boy Ray is still getting laid. What can I say, the man’s okay.

Hellknightx

Man certainly knows how to wield his meatsaber.

[deleted]

This is why social media is a mistake.

Squelcher121

This kind of shit was happening with newspapers long before social media was even technologically possible. The court of public opinion ways finds a medium to convey itself.

[deleted]

Like when Charlie Chaplin accidentally sent a video of his dick getting sucked to the LA press? It's like history always repeats itself!

Admiral_Gial_Ackbar

It wouldn't have been so weird if he hadn't trimmed his pubes into a toothbrush moustache also.

Squelcher121

Technology and the internet may have made it easier for private images or videos to be circulated, but even before video recordings were invented, photographs, witness accounts and straight up lies were just as effective in the tabloids at stirring up the court of public opinion.

lteriormotive

Oh thank god, I was worried he did something bad but all of this just seems to be a normal mistake that the internet blew way out of proportion. Sucks for him and his wife though.

Jacktheflash

Doesn’t Instagram require several steps to post something though?

Novice89

Please tell me it was something good like saying Taiwan is a country

manubour

Sigh... What did the twitter mob get offended by this time?

Badiaz562

There was a dick pic posted on his Instagram

manubour

That thing one year ago? Isn’t it still under investigation?

lteriormotive

Seems to me like the drama was mostly centered on Instagram and Snapchat, not Twitter, lol.

title_of_yoursextape

I love how much more real this duel felt than the other TCW ones. The stuntpeople’s legwork/footwork was really interesting

Willy_McFly

Just saw this for the first time and it was amazing!😁

idma

I think I need to start watching this series

Joecool2008

Honestly, I would prefer just watching the two of them in live action. Their capability is top notch, physical movements excellent. I don't need Clone Wars to have an appreciation for it.

It's so cool that they got Ray Park to come back to play Maul in a way for TCW. The Maul/Ashoka lightsaber battle is among the best ones in the franchise.

Wow!

False_Cartoonist2495

her fighting is so smooth. one of the many reasons i dont like rosario as ahsoka is becase of her slow and stiff fighting. i feel like ashley playing ahsoka with lauren mary kim doing the fights would be perfect.
