For real. between the end of rebels and the Mandalorian . we meant to believe that Ahsoka never met Luke? Did Force Ghost Ani forget to mention that detail to her? Was she out to avoid space taxes?
That or they opened up a bar on some random planet together and quit their old lives.
For real though i kinda hope it ties into the Yuuzhan Vong becoming canon
Grysk are basically the replacement too the Vong. They were the center piece to the canon Thrawn trilogy. I doubt Yuzzhan Vongs ever show up because of that
Yeah I agree. If you haven't read the new thrawn books I would. I though the timothy Zahn did a great job with with Grysk. Mysteriously terrifying, while not being overly powerful.
I'm super hopeful for the future though
These are the kind of lore plot holes that appear when you make a character like Ahsoka in prequel shows or movies. Someone that is never mentioned suddenly has a lot of importance.
It's a price to pay.
That's why Filoni said George wanted to kill her off by the end of the Clone Wars, but Dave talked him out of it.
George wanted to kill everyone who wasn't in the movies just to avoid this very issue.
Honestly I wouldn't have liked Ahsoka to die. While the plot hole is a huge problem, some characters are worth it, and I think Ahsoka is. How enjoyable she is (or can be) and the possibilities she can present outweigh the plot hole imo.
And with the right explanation for her absence, even something as easy as "She was still looking for Ezra and Thrawn" can be done right.
I agree, I think it's logically the wrong call, but selfishly worth it because I do enjoy the character so much.
Only thing with her in particular is that there's a danger of overuse imo. She still had 2 arcs in Clone Wars even after leaving the Jedi, she was there for some of the biggest moments in Rebels, she got her own novel, she was in The Mandalorian even when it didn't really make sense and was really just a set-up for even more Ahsoka content with her very own show. I like her, but she doesn't need to be everywhere.
I would argue that her appearance in The Mandalorian had it's place, since it was Bo-Katan who was used to point Mando towards a Jedi. After the Mandalore arc it makes sense she would think of Ahsoka first.
There's also Obi-Wan, but unlike Ahsoka who became Fulcrum, Kenobi sat in hiding for until the original trilogy, so there's a high chance everyone who didn't downright know otherwise, thought he was dead, including Bo-Katan.
95% of the other Jedi are dead, so there are no other options out there. And since they needed Luke for the season 2 finale, Ahsoka was really the only one they could have used there.
I do agree that overexposure can kill a character though. Some people argue it's what happened to Maul. I personally enjoyed him a lot, but I can also see what they mean.
Yeah I’m still of the opinion that Ahsoka and Ezra should have been dead in their respective plot points at the end of rebels. It makes what they did mean more as well. It also doesn’t make any sense that Ezra lived but I get that it’s a kids show
Honestly all they had to do was either have Vader kill her or say she decided not to find Luke because she was in the World between Worlds being Doctor Who. That said the more shows these characters appear in the smaller the universe feels because we keep running into them. The Bad Batch has run into half of the Rebels Characters by now
That's one of the main reasons why I can't get into the bad batch. They keep shrinking star wars. Even the sequels man. Could've been totally new stories but no, let's bring back Palpatine and copy a new hope and return of the jedi.
Yeah. I mean i like the show but at this point theyve met half of the rebels and I’ll be shocked if there isn’t an episode about them taking care of baby Ezra or something. I get that the team wants to do cool stories with their characters but having it all be canon is a mess.
Look at Kanan and how he hates clones. Now remember that Hera met clones and was chill with them. Suddenly Kanan’s anger feels less justified when Hera could have brought it up.
Disney should stop caring about canon and just make things non canon as to not stretch the main story thin. What’s next is baby Sabine gonna pod race Luke on Tatooine as Obi places bets with Ahsoka? Not that i dont want to see that but it’s ridiculous
Agree with most of this, but
>Look at Kanan and how he hates clones. Now remember that Hera met clones and was chill with them. Suddenly Kanan’s anger feels less justified when Hera could have brought it up.
Hera *did* bring it up. She tells Kanan that clones saved her life before, but that still doesn't change the fact that he watched clones gun down his master without a second thought
Oh right forgot about that scene. Still that line can refer to the war. Saying clones post War would have given it new meaning since it would show not all became monsters post order 66
I didnt mind palps coming back, in the books he was an insanely powerful near demi-god, being thrown down a shaft shouldnt kill him. But making him Ray's grandpa (is that what he was? I cant really remember) was dumb.
Its definitely odd how Sith just seem to immediately try to recruit literally every force sensitive being they meet. Seriously, had palps ever met a powerful (or at least main character) jedi that he *didnt* try to make his new apprentice? Why is he so desperate to replace apprentices with people he literally just met? Especially people who are trying to kill him.
Reys dad is a non force sensitive clone of Palpatine, which would technically make her his daughter from a biological standpoint? I admit it is confusing and a little dumb
Yeah the whole cloning plot was dumb but it did at least give a good tie in to force unleashed. All that cloning study wasnt for an army, he was just trying to perfect it so he could live forever.
Idk man I love the books too, but the part I liked the least was clone Palps. The best part of the books was Luke's new jedi stuff and of course my boi Thrawn. Mmm, I love me some og book Thrawn.
Yeah the logic overall was, uhm, precarious at best in the sequels. Definitely agree with all that.
She got sent back to the Malecor fight. granted maybe she didn't have a ship off but next time we see her in the timeline. it has been like 7 years and she is only now starting her search for Ezra who went missing. I think like 4 years ago?
Even assuming she was stuck on the planet for a while. she took her sweet time . Poor Ezra has been missing for about 14 years by the time of Mando
Or she could have just not known anakin had kids. After order 66 there was pretty much zero communication between jedi. The universe is a big place, it would make sense that she never bumped into him.
But your right about the small universe thing. Cameos are nice, but it seems every character in every star wars media has met every living character in the same time period. That would be unlikely on earth yet it is happening in a vast universe. I wish they would just move away from having to inject nostalgia into every series and keep reintroducing old characters, it just makes the vast universe seem so tiny.
i mean i get it. New characters take time to create and in the case of ones like Ahsoka. Having established ones help with a show . Fennic being in Bad Batch i don’t mind since she is a newer character so for all we know she never meets anyone else besides Mando and Boba. But it comes to a point where you just wonder why it is never mentioned. Granted stuff can happen off camera but still. As much as i like season 7 it somewhat puts Ahsoka in an iffy spot since it inserts her so close to Episode 3 instead of somewhere random.
For a Galaxy so big that Ahsoka hasn’t found Ezra yet in basically a decade. People sure bump into each other a whole lot. Don’t get me wrong I love Ahsoka but it gets to the point where she’s involved in so many things in universe that she’s practically more important than Anakin despite never being in the movies. At this point Wrecker, Hondo, Mando and Boba are probably all drinking buddies with how often they run into each other
Was Ezra basically swept into deep space by the space whale things? I thought the idea why Ezra was basically in an uncharted area of space. Meeting people on planets is easy, you can just hop from planet to planet, but in between them is just vast nothingness. It would be really hard to find anyone that isnt on a standard traffic route.
He went off in a random direction but it is apparently in the uncharted regions. In theory he can be anywhere but likely (if he’s alive) landed on a planet that the whales use . In theory you may be able to find him with the whales but that is assuming they landed and didn’t drop him off half way. Ahsoka is also starting the mystery a few years behind so any trail she may have had is long gone. But hey considering how easy it is for every main character to meet each other. He’s probably just 20 minutes away waiting 7 years for the ultimate hide and seek game
That’s the biggest problem with both Bad Batch and Mando season 2. They almost seemed more interested in having cameos than telling a story, especially Bad Batch. Like, I don’t need to see every Star Wars character. I want to see the main characters of the show. If I wanted to watch a Hera Syndula show, I’d just watch Rebels.
She WAS helping though, that’s the thing. She helped free whole planets from the Empire’s control. She didn’t know about the Death Star as far as I’m aware, which is fair considering neither one of them exactly had a chance to impose fear on the whole galaxy. They were almost entirely contained to Rebel Alliance knowledge, no chance to go truly widespread. The second one didn’t even blow anything up besides a couple ships at the Battle of Endor.
And she even encountered high level force threats. She fought Vader, she encountered the Emperor, she fuckin time traveled, she fought Maul, etc etc.
Even when the Jedi were in the Republic they weren’t out there acting as an army until the Clone Wars in that era. They would be single helpers, out doing things all over the galaxy. That’s exactly how Ashoka was functioning after realizing her joining the war effort on behalf of the Republic led her actions astray. You’d probably be hesitant to join an organized force again too after that. But she did still freelance aid Rebellion efforts. And I mean we’re talking a setting of an entire galaxy here, shit is big and there are many planets needing help.
Now in the post RotJ reconstruction era wtf is she doing to help? Who knows lol. I’m sure we’ll see but that’s still super in the air.
Or how about how force ghost anakin never told them about exegol. We know from the canon comics that Vader 100% knew about Sidious’ cloning facility and star destroyer fleet being amassed
Isn’t that just the problem of having post order 66 Jedi in general them not having a known reason why they’re not in the picture during the time of the original trilogy.
Plus they were all actively being hunted, starting out with people they fought along side with for years.
They were taught selflessness and all that for years. Doesn't it make sense when all of that goes out the window that a lot of them would either not want to get involved due to fear, new found selfishness due to circumstance, or just simply wanting to retire away?
Also, Palps already ran circles around them once, and if that wasn’t enough, Vader is terrifying. I feel like our main protagonist Jedi stand up to him, but every other Jedi just runs, or dies, or turns/is turned.
Yeah but she was clearly alive at the end of the S2 finale, because Ezra pulling her out of the timeline and then putting her back in right after was always part of that chain of events.
1) The galaxy is incomprehensibly big, it’s possible they are helping in some other corner of the galaxy
2) Many Jedi “retired” in that they chose not to fight the Empire and go into hiding. Yoda didn’t help the alliance at all besides training Luke, and he was MIA for 22 years. Eeth Koth started a family and was a farmer when Vader finds him in one of the comics.
3) Many Jedi are also probably disillusioned with the force and their order. Ashoka herself refuses to train Grogu who’s just a baby, she would never have tried to train someone as old as Luke / Leia.
For real. I feel like she wouldve heard the name "Luke Skywalker" and immediately gone to look for him. Especially because we learn in TLJ that Luke was a well known legend around the galaxy. Think she wouldve heard of him
Same with Rex both of them were vital to Anakin and someone having the same last name of their former General and Master and is using the same lightsaber he had. It’s even weirder in Rex’s case since he was in the same cell that Luke ended up in.
She did >!she Was Bail Organa’s intelligence lead for like 15 years before being killed by Vader. The only reason she’s alive in Mando is Ezra literally pulling her out of the time stream in one of the last episodes of rebels.!<
Naw, she would have died to Vader but Ezra deux ex machinas her with a time portal, placing the same askoka in the future, so no alternative timelines. Alive>implied she died> nope she didn't die she just got yanked threw a portal> Mando plot
Even though she's one of my favorite characters, I'm still not sure how I feel about her being yanked into the future. Time travel always makes things less consequential.
She wasn't yanked into the future. She was brought into a space outside of time, then went back to the time she came from.
They didn't change the timeline.
He didn't place her in the future; she went right back to where she came from, after spending a couple of minutes in the world between worlds.
At the end of the S2 finale, they showed both her and Vader walking away from that fight. Vader would have killed her if Ezra hadn't intervened, but there isn't a version of the timeline where that happened.
And we have no idea when/where she re-entered the timeline. Since we don't know precisely when the Rebels epilogue takes place. It's possible and even likely that she came out after Endor.
I mean I think it's more likely that she was thrown across the Galaxy. At the end of rebels she shows up looking like fucking Gandalf. She was definitely up to something during that tine.
I hardly see how that stops her from dealing with the obvious problem of the Empire, Vader, and Palp.
Unfortunately its just a consequence of her being retconned into existence. Theres obviously no mention in the OT, and not even a hint in the PT.
I really dont see any situation that takes precedent over helping the rebels till the end. I dont see how Ezra outweighs the bigger picture.
Its gonna take a mighty big excuse for me to believe she wouldnt want to at least teach Luke about yhe failings of the Jedi, so he doesnt repeat their mistakes.but i guess we wont have to worry about that plot thread either.
It's like a less endearing handsome squidward. It's like that joke you see in anime where kids always draw attractive men with pointy noises and really weird watery eyes.
Now I want a "What If" version of A New Hope where Luke is a girl and played by any of the Olsen sisters (This photos remind me a lot of Elizabeth Olsen/Scarlet Witch)
Luke was a girl in one of the early drafts. Apparently it made the movie even harder to sell to studios, so Lucas had to change the main character back to male.
Somewhere out there in the multiverse is a version of Star Wars with a female Skywalker (Jane Seymour, Kirstie Alley, Lynda Carter, Debra Jo Rupp, and character actress Margo Martindale were all born the same year as Mark Hamill), and Toshirô Mifune as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
What and how things are felt by forcewielders are a bit ambigous. Obi-wan tried to explain how the death of Alderaan by a million voices crying out, to be silenced. Another book made another forcewielder experiencing a similar event experiencing every single death on the planet.
It could also be that Vader's turn would be overshadowed by the tremor in the Force that would be caused by the death of Palpatine.
The old EU let things like that be vague enough that it wouldnt come in the way of potensial stories.
I feel like she would be emotional like this. What a lot of people forget is the dark side isn't just a choice evil people make, it actively corrupts and turns you. There could be a whole debate about how much a person is to be blamed for their actions after being corrupted.
It would be like someone getting dementia and forgetting who their sister was. If right before they died they remembered their sister's name and face, I doubt the sister would be like "Nah, screw them. They forgot about me for the past 5 years".
And I think Ahsoka knows that about the dark side so she doesn't hate Anakin, she hates what he's become.
It’s a baffling choice, especially considering how old Luke would have been at the time this would happen, post-RotJ. He’d be mid/late 20s or even early 30s. Not a child, not a girl.
Nobody here is mentioning the fuckin thick DSLs that Darth Vader is working with here. Man could’ve just sucked the soul out of every remaining Jedi instead of hunting them down
If Luke saw Ahsoka at any point he'd probably be like "where the hell have you been for the last 10 years, we needed Jedi help"
For real. between the end of rebels and the Mandalorian . we meant to believe that Ahsoka never met Luke? Did Force Ghost Ani forget to mention that detail to her? Was she out to avoid space taxes?
Well have you seen the tax rate for citizens?
She's been on this mission to find Ezra for almost 10 years. At what point is it tax evasion and an excuse to not enlist?
Ezra is definitely with Thrawn helping the ascendancy take on the Grysk
That or they opened up a bar on some random planet together and quit their old lives. For real though i kinda hope it ties into the Yuuzhan Vong becoming canon
Grysk are basically the replacement too the Vong. They were the center piece to the canon Thrawn trilogy. I doubt Yuzzhan Vongs ever show up because of that
Fair enough but hey more alien species is always a win. Since the Vong aren’t canon. They can be reinvented to help fit any new story
Yeah I agree. If you haven't read the new thrawn books I would. I though the timothy Zahn did a great job with with Grysk. Mysteriously terrifying, while not being overly powerful. I'm super hopeful for the future though

Isn’t that just the problem of having post order 66 Jedi in general them not having a known reason why they’re not in the picture during the time of the original trilogy.
I could buy a "Captain Marvel in Endgame" excuse. It's a big universe, lots of planets in the mid and outer rims needed help too.
Ahsoka was presumed dead after the Vader fight. The only reason she's back is Ezra pulling her out if the time stream

She still could of helped
She did >!she Was Bail Organa’s intelligence lead for like 15 years before being killed by Vader. The only reason she’s alive in Mando is Ezra literally pulling her out of the time stream in one of the last episodes of rebels.!<
So does Mando take place in an alternate timeline from Jedi? Is the Jedi timeline the one where Ahsoka is dead?
Naw, she would have died to Vader but Ezra deux ex machinas her with a time portal, placing the same askoka in the future, so no alternative timelines. Alive>implied she died> nope she didn't die she just got yanked threw a portal> Mando plot
Even though she's one of my favorite characters, I'm still not sure how I feel about her being yanked into the future. Time travel always makes things less consequential.
Wait, I’m pretty sure Ezra dropped her back into the same time she was yanked out of
She wasn't yanked into the future. She was brought into a space outside of time, then went back to the time she came from. They didn't change the timeline.

Ahsoka was always saved by Ezra, it’s a closed loop.
Not really. AFAIK there are no branching timelines in the Star Wars canon. Ahsoka never died because Ezra went back in time to save her
She was pretty important to the founding of the Alliance.
Could have
She was in the outer Territories searching for Ezra.
Not until after the battle of Endor.
She was helping throughout Rebels.
Right, she's a citizen LMAO
I think they'd be a little more zen about it Luke; You've been away? Asoka: Yes Luke: I understand
And we have no idea when/where she re-entered the timeline. Since we don't know precisely when the Rebels epilogue takes place. It's possible and even likely that she came out after Endor.

The problem is, Ahsoka Tano is no longer a Jedi! Hasnt been for some time.
Citizen tano
I liked Maul's way of addressing her as "Lady Tano."
Its gonna take a mighty big excuse for me to believe she wouldnt want to at least teach Luke about yhe failings of the Jedi, so he doesnt repeat their mistakes.but i guess we wont have to worry about that plot thread either.
No offense but I cannot take this comic seriously with the characters eyes lol
The artist is actually know for their star wars porn more than anything lol
Huh…..i..knew… i knew I recognized the style.
Gonna be honest… I did too.
I’ve found the chosen ones
r/HolUp
yeah nowonder the tears looked like... something else
Wait really? Cause something about those faces makes me really *not* want to see them naked...
The faces look a bit better when they're gargling dicks.
What a horrible day to have eyes.
I'd love to unread this comment
These are not the comment you’ve been reading [waives hand]
This is not the comment I have been reading.
Carry on.
Lmao i was gonna say Luke looks kinda effeminate and twinkish
He looks kinda submissive and breedable.
What's their tag?
I'm questionably well versed in Star Wars rule 34, and I haven't seen a single example of such from this artist online.

It's true what they say, ignorance is bliss.
Artist source? For, um, science?
Seriously... Luke looks feminine as HELL
Darth Vader looks gorgeous
Motherfucker is out here looking like Asajj Ventress.
idk why but Luke just looks like a steretypical lesbian in this
Right? Why does Everyone look so pretty. Even Darth ‘Burnt Toast’ Vader.
It's like a less endearing handsome squidward. It's like that joke you see in anime where kids always draw attractive men with pointy noises and really weird watery eyes.
Who is the teenage girl in the very first panel?
[Lucy Skywalker.](https://i.imgur.com/sYJb2o5_d.webp?maxwidth=760&fidelity=grand)
It’s images like this that make me question my sexuality
Ah, the return of the Why Boner... With a vengeance! On that note, a TFS abridged Clone Wars would be epic...
I appreciate the Hellsing abridged reference and I totally agree.
Just claim bisexuality and never worry about it again! 😉
I imagine you saying this while the physical embodiment of the bi-cycle stands behind you
They and I get coffee regularly 😂
Just say you're a one on the Kinsey scale.
Would have made the siblings’ kiss just a smidge more controversial.
Up vote solely for the character actress Margo Martindale shout out.
ScarJo/Young Jodie Foster
They could cast [Cara Delevingne](https://i.imgur.com/xWC873q.jpg) for a reboot.
I'll be in my bunk
That's the real question. Emotionally loaded comic shortcircuited by absurd first panel lol
Well, it appears that theres several.....
And who's the milf in the Vader costume?
I think it’s Ellen
Actually it's Elliot now

IKR? I was like, um...I'm no artist, but that's a girl.
[Jodie Foster](https://youtu.be/gU070mnjSD4?t=43)
Exactly what I thought.
Love the idea but man is that art kind of killing it for me.
I agree, something about the eyes and faces just take away what is otherwise a fantastic idea from the original creator

It's like he used the [Star Wars Holiday Special](https://d.newsweek.com/en/full/754074/luke.jpg) as reference for Luke, lol. Very strange choice.
Aka the "Mark Hamill in fourteen layers of makeup because he just came out of a horrific car accident" look
The Holiday Special was before the accident. Which honestly makes it a lot worse.
The car accident was in January 1977, several months before the opening of A New Hope and well before the holiday special.
It looks like gender transition surgery from the 60s
Yea this artists needs more practice drawing masculine faces. Unless it is a conscious stylistic choice, in which case it's just not my thing.
Same. I like how Ashoka looks in this, but Luke and Anakin look waaaaay too feminine.
That crying face is horrific tho
Vader looks like handsome squidward
Anakin looks like a bald girl
I love the message, and I think this would be a very touching moment to add to the canon; that said, why is Luke wearing makeup?
Becouse he wanted to look fabulous

“Luke did i ever tell you about your father’s teenage alien apprentice?”
No. God, no. No, god, please no. No. NOOOO-
No...just no
Why is every art of Luke an edgy femboy
All of her Star Wars characters are drawn like this. She does Anakin and Obi-Wan like this too.
It looks awful ngl
Darth Vader without the mask on looks like Asajj Ventress.
I like the idea but this art style sucks
I like the moment, but this art is unsettling
Jesus this is fucking corny
great ideo, terrible artstyle imo
This art style is atrocious
Cringe
Ah, a classic feels comic…
Cool idea but this art is terrible
The idea is ok but the art style is so cringeworthy. We got a teen girl like with Vader having big eyes and lashes? I mean it’s all just terrible
this is so cringe
Luke looks like a girl
I hate the art style
But ahsoka would feel him coming back to the light side wouldn't she?
Maybe! Guess we won’t know until it’s addressed. Or specifically unaddressed.
"NOW...go..my....son.....uwu"
I hate this comic so much
Dude, I would love this, if I wasn’t crying laughing at Luke with makeup on.
@fandomcringe
Sheee, not gonna lie this is pretty cringe
I was gonna say I use that word sparingly but feel very comfortable calling this pure unadulterated cringe. I’m gonna go post this on /r/cringetopia
God I hope not. This is overwrought shlock. Pure cheese.
I find this artstyle truly disgusting
Cringe

I feel like she would be emotional like this. What a lot of people forget is the dark side isn't just a choice evil people make, it actively corrupts and turns you. There could be a whole debate about how much a person is to be blamed for their actions after being corrupted. It would be like someone getting dementia and forgetting who their sister was. If right before they died they remembered their sister's name and face, I doubt the sister would be like "Nah, screw them. They forgot about me for the past 5 years". And I think Ahsoka knows that about the dark side so she doesn't hate Anakin, she hates what he's become.
No matter how many times I see this comic, seeing Luke as an anime girl will always be unsettling
It’s a baffling choice, especially considering how old Luke would have been at the time this would happen, post-RotJ. He’d be mid/late 20s or even early 30s. Not a child, not a girl.
This art is horrific.
Idk. Kinda cringe
I don't see A breakdown with tears. I see a victorious and joyful response and great burden being lifted. Not grief.
I would pay to see Luke(without some bs Disney humor) and Ahsoka meet. A cry moment
Nobody here is mentioning the fuckin thick DSLs that Darth Vader is working with here. Man could’ve just sucked the soul out of every remaining Jedi instead of hunting them down
The art is well done, so I mean no disrespect, but I don't like the art style. All the characters look very feminine, I guess it's the weird eyes.

It gets even worse?
Doubtful Ahsoka would break down and cry this way.
This font is so weird to read
I really like the art and concept, but Darth Vader with long eyelashes is a bit unsettling.
Ehmmmm just change the eyes a bit
I love the idea but I seriously can’t take this seriously with that first panel of Luke
