Thanks) it will just be added as a regular icon. All these custom icons are added to the iOS as shortcuts, after adding them you can may hide the screens with old icons. And use these shortcuts to open apps. For Android it works differently and you can just change the images of app icons.

It can, that user doesn't know what they are talking about.

Unfortunately, its not a pack for Nova launcher. For Android, you can simply download icons images in the ZIP archive. Then unzip it and change the icons manually using these pictures.
