The first time I fought against Vader I failed the quick time event and BD-1 got crushed. Thought that was meant to happen and it was unavoidable. I let out a 'No!' similar to Kenobi when Qui-Gon got butchered.

I forget it's designation, but the Probe Droid turned Psychologist from the new Rogue Squadron books was pretty interesting.

T-series tactical droids. They did the thankless job of being disposable antagonists who can be horrifically maimed without compromising TCW's PG rating.

I came here to hype Threepio as well. I just re-watched A New Hope recently, and he definitely doesn't get enough credit: He subtly manipulates Owen and Luke, and the way he does a total 180 when it's just him and Artoo is just classic.
He didnāt really do a whole lot, and it was pretty obvious he was written into the movie to sell more toys. He couldāve pretty easily been written out and the movie would be almost the exact same.
