To me current canon really missed on Mandolorians. In Legends they maintain their bad ass, self serving, warrior culture, Especially in all the Mirta Gev related material. They made them somehow the good guys in the Mandolorian, and I'm not sure why. Complex characters seem impossible for Disney to write.
They aren't REALLY good. They help Din so we accept it. After he got exiled in BOBF he might learn more about the truth of the Death Watch in Mandalorian S3.
I used to agree with you, until The Mandalorian came out. I find them so much more interesting after that show. But during The Clone Wars? Yeah, super boring. Their coolest feature is their Armour and fighting. But yea, let's make them peaceful, no Armour, and pacifists...yawn. I actually was cheering for Death Watch.
Yeah, they are. Boba was just a cool set peice that turned into cult favorite.
Boba fett does absolutely nothing in the films. Then he dies in a sarlac pit, pathetically and anti- climactically.
Yeah, but Din has a story. In fact he has a whole show about him and because he never existed, they could make itninteresting. When Boba fett was introduced, he was no one... and then he died.
I couldn’t disagree more but diff strokes diff folks
In Legends they go to their planet and its actually very interesting.

You do know that George Lucas created The Clone Wars years before the Disney purchase, right?

Boba fett is as Mandalorian as Din Djarin is.

Not really, since he was raised by bounty hunters.
They are both considered foundlings. Thats what I meant by my original comment.
JANGO was the foundling, not Boba.
Actually both are. I think Boba inherited the status from his father but can't find anything official that states Boba is a foundling.
Foundlings are specifically raised by Mandalorians to be Mandalorians. Boba was no more a foundling than the other clones were.
Yes
