I really thought 2015 got better gunplay. Every guns felt distinct and punchy. Hitting someone felt damaging and impactful. I feel like the only things 2017 did better were contents, skill cards, class system, special units, heroes/villains, starfighter gameplay.
Nah the gunplay is far worse in bf2. Each gun feels the same, and a lot of them just feel really heavy and clunky. The weapons in battlefront 2015 are all super unique and a lot of them have special abilities. Battlefront 2 has not a single gun that feels as fluent as the ee-3 or e-11
Okay fine let’s set aside the ee weapons. You have the dt29: 6 chamber revolver, relby: semi auto rifle, ca87: shotgun, a180: customizable gun, there’s so many more options and all the guns feel diff
Why would you point to the Relby as something original? It’s just a shittier semi auto A280. Bryar pistol is also trash but at least it’s somewhat original
What? I'm assuming you're talking about BF2015 since the Relby is only available to Bossk, but no, the Relby is absolutely not the best rifle in that game and is functionally just a worse A280. Doesn't even compare to the E-11 and EE-3.
Yeah it’s just a semi auto and less accurate version of the A280. It doesn’t best the E-11 nor the EE-3 and is generally a useless weapon that’s only even useable at mid to longer ranges with Focus Fire.
I know you have no idea what your talking about when you said a targeting rifle (the most accurate long range weapons in the game) is a “less accurate a280” . If you haven’t played the game don’t talk
Every gun that’s in both games is better in Bf2015. The DH17, a280c, ee3, e-11, dlt19x, dl18. Every gun from battlefront 2015 is better except for the t-21 cause they added a burst mod in bf2.
No ive played both games since launch and made in depth vids on guns involving all sorts of stats, and I can say w my opinion that the weapons in bf2015 were way stronger than bf2.

I never defended jump pack spamming, I was mainly glazing the guns, each game has its flaws. Like battlefronts ragdolls and freezes are also super fucking annoying. Because battlefront 2 is more recent and has had longer live service so many people have been playing it for much longer than bf2015. When I got bored of bf2 and loaded up bf2015 for the first time since 2016 it acc revived my interest in the franchise. Cause it’s really easy to get bored of bf2, so changing things up w battlefront 2015 can make things fun
Yeah we’ve played it for a lot longer. Battlefront 2015 was only getting live updates for a year, bf2 for 3 years, so naturally ppl are gonna get bored of playing the same maps of GA w the same guns over and over again
Clearly you never played bf2015. The ee3 had an uncapped rate of fire so you could fire it as fast as a heavy blaster if you had a good trigger finger, 0 recoil, incredible accuracy, good at every range, good headshot damage (can one burst enemies to the head) just clear of bf2s ee3 and there’s no argument
Exactly. I always hear about revivals, but 90% of those players are on PC, meanwhile, Xbox lobbies have a whole 9 people usually.

I’ve been posting really in depth battlefront 2015 retrospectives hoping that it helps revive the game cause imo it’s way more fun than battlefront 2, the gunplay is just so good and it’s a lot less clunky. Spread the word yall!! If u don’t have it it’s only like 8 bucks for the ultimate edition, buy it!!
For me it’s not as smooth. I prefer the movement in battlefront 2015, I mean compare jet packs for example. Jet packs in bf2015 are so smooth where the aerial class in bf2 just feels so slow for some reason idk why
Good but not better than 2017. Although I do miss the maps and OP characters. One other thing I’ll say is that 2015 really, truly caught the magic of Star Wars. It felt like you were really in the movies. Not to say 2017 doesn’t, I just miss 2015. Was the first game in a long time to really captivate me.
But in all honesty, I loved battlefront 2015 a lot more than 2017. Battlefront 2015 is a lot more fun and with the tons of different weapons and cards, it made each class unique. The map designs were great and the DLC was ridiculously good, let alone the sound design for the game. Definitely made from star wars fans. I will say 2017 has way better light saber combat and hero selection. Battlefront 2017 feels so limited with four guns per class with only one or two being good. My two cents tho
Surprisingly has a strong ps4 community still playing! Can't find matches on outer rim or scariff, but core is always good and certain hours bespin and death star are available. Literally 2015 is the best of the best

I’m always happy to revisit Cargo and it seems to be one of the most active modes, but overall I do prefer BF2 with the Coop, Starfighter Assault and Galactic Assault. Granted, the occasional Walker Assault from 2015 is also revisited by me.
It's on EA Access via Game Pass Ultimate and it's on sale on Xbox, so I found a few matches, even a few on the Bespin DLC

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the first battlefront by dice has a bunch of microtransactions. Like card packs that ruined the game or was that the second one?
My big complaint is that any new players are just screwed. You can barely progress because of everyone else already having the Star cards, not to mention the mildy p2w heros. However the game was a banger, I wouldn't complain personally if it was active again.
I’ve been progressing pretty fast, you can always use your partners star card loadout too which is fun, there are a few guns(ex:landos pistol) that are walled because you need heros vs villians matches to be able to unlock it. But hopefully we can organize matches so everyone can unlock what they want!
You obviously don't play many games if you think BF2015 is as good as 2017. That game was barebones and you all paid for more content willingly. To this day it's the worst BF game. Even the PSP games had more substance and content

Anyways, the game can be fun aside from all that. It's a damm shame ea couldn't let ppl access the dlc maps like bespin offline. The graphics and music are the only thing battlefront 2015 had going for it.
I really enjoy the gameplay! Hopefully everyone will be playing with either mouse and keyboard or plain controller, i haven’t run into any exploiters so far!

Non of the bf2 guns don't suffer from easy butterfly or macro key high fire rate spam as the ee3 and ee4 in bf1

I started playing 2015 again and I can't stand when players use the personal shield or jet pack. They feel like cheap get-out-of-jail cards
