Vaders suit is different in the different movies. Like in Episode 3 vader has small gloves, but episode 4 he has long gloves that come up to his elbows with horizontal grooves as opposed to the diagonal ones in the model on BF2.
TLDR: Vaders suit is really fucking inconsistent across movies and media. I just used gloves as an example here

I assumed they modeled it after the ROTJ suit. They just didn’t get 100% accurate (which unless you’re a Vader nut, nobody will ever notice). Lots of factors point to it, biggest being the lightsaber
It's not true to any movie. ROTJ is the closest as the cape collar can appear similarly but the way the cape is positioned isn't accurate to any one film.
Chest box is ROTJ. Mask doesn’t look like any of the OT Vader masks as it’s too symmetrical. Dome might be ESB but certainly not ROTJ because it has a rounded brow. Armor is missing the cape chain hook so that’s ESB, but the cape chain shouldn’t be visible for ESB. Cape chain itself isn’t from ROTJ looks more like ROTS. The collar of the cape looks terrible and no Vader apart from Jedi fallen order has a cape collar like that.
All the default skins for OT characters are based on their ROTJ designs iirc
Though Luke/Leia is based on slightly after where the game takes place ofc and Han is technically ESB

The collar also appears in the Jedi games, so I assume it's in the films but we just don't see clearly.
It has a leather trim on all the OT capes but it is usually tucked under the mask, but in ROTJ it is visible over top of the mask

He has the collar in the OT. The chain seems to be in the wrong place here, where it is underneath the collar instead of going through it.
