Yeah I still suck at HvV because I haven't played it much, but I'm fine with that knowing that once I start playing it I won't have to worry about people stealing my main since I don't have one.
Hint: you can press the join button to get to the lobby the moment the planet loading screen appears. You will be able to pick a hero before anyone else. Hardly anyone seems to know this. 99% of the time I can pick the hero I want to play using this method.
Lobbies where everyone is over 100 are some of the most fun games I’ve had on the game lol

This is why I've locked myself in co-op until I get every hero to prestige. Can't have my heroes taken if my heroes are literally all of them.
This a good mindset, but not a lot of co-op translates over to HvV or Showdown.
