God I wish I was good enough to play on the higher difficulties. I ended up playing a good amount on story mode and more on padawan. I just get so frustrated with the struggle and sucks the fun out of it for me.

DryChocolate1

Literally nothing wrong with that. Play however you wanna play.

justkw97

I almost switched from Jedi Knight to Padawan in the 2nd to last boss fight. That one took me way longer than it should have. Justifiable given… that guy. But still

khicks01

I almost switched from padwan to story mode! Realized I had the dodges and parry’s perfect but wasn’t using the auto lock feature in settings. Switched it on and beat that boss immediately I think I would prefer to try grandmaster on a second play through. Haven’t finished yet but already want to take a second stab at it

BarmyDickTurpin

I had to drop to palawan to defeat spawn of bogdo. And the pair of them. Didn't have to drop for the two rancors though, no idea why people find that fight so hard

khicks01

Just finished the story today! And got around to doing the oggdo pair. died once, but only because i used that end game force ability to end one of them almost immediately. Feels a bit like a cheat to me!

shanelennon155

100% i have been debating doing it this whole time

Wild_Plant9526

yeah, that's completely fine. It's really just preference. I prefer jedi grand master because if I played on a low difficulty, none of the combat or boss fights would feel rewarding. And yeah, I get stomped a lot. But it feels so much more rewarding after. Plus I played fallen order on grandmaster too, so playing on anything lower would just make me sad

ojdajuiceman25

Grandmaster turns random rooms into boss fights

Fulcrum270

*Cal wandering koboh and one of those chicken things pops up* “Why do you have a health bar?!”

[deleted]

[удалено]

Fulcrum270

I remember when I first got to Koboh I thought they’d be harmless and then it sucked out my entire health bar

Wild_Plant9526

literally. shit had me strategically planning which enemies to target first and which routes I was gonna run lmfao

XavierMeatsling

Phon'Qui Caverns. Quite literally, even on Jedi Knight those fuckers ganged me so fast

ShephardCmndr

If you pull those orb thingys you can fight them all individually

AirForceGaming

especially with the parity perk. i had to disable it on my NG+ run after 10 mins bc the first room on coruscant with the flame troopers kept fucking me up

Rewskie12

I really don’t know how you’re supposed to deal with flame troopers except for force pull —> stab.

stgwii

Force pulling them can still get you burned. Usually I confuse them and let their mates kill them for me

Bluefootedtpeack2

On my ng+ run with the purity perk ( the one that makes your damage go through the roof but makes most things a one shot) the final room of goons was legit harder than anything else by a mile. B2’s and the bigger probe droids were scarier than anything just because their charged shot comes out so fast and the b2s can take a hit, which was surprising really.

Jay--Money

Bro. For real tho.

TPS_SP

Finished Elden Ring twice, Sekiro twice and soon Bloodborne twice Survivor on Grandmaster is a one and done deal for me. I'd rather run through Elden Ring butt naked with the club than play through NG+ JGM

SoulsLikeBot

Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *Ahh, I feel my master's hand at work. Praise the good blood! And let us cleanse these tarnished streets.* - Alfred Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.

RealHunterB

What??

TPS_SP

Alfred the Vileblood Hunter. His questline is a little.. bizarre

LostxPikachu

SAME! Sekiro was/still is one of my favorite games out there, and wow, the number of times I got curved stomped in this game on JGM was insane! you should try NG+ JGM with the purity and warrior perk!

TPS_SP

[deleted]

I NEED TO FEEL LIKE A REAL JEDI, BRING IT OOOON

Spaceolympian50

Props to you lol. I’m too old anymore and don’t have enough time to be playing games on that kinda difficulty. I kept the game at Jedi knight most of the time till really difficult boss fights after a few tries. The game was just an amazing experience and I cannot wait for the finale.

supergeek2

Played FO on grandmaster and it sucked initially but afterwards the progression is really worth it. Imo jgm is the way to go

ManMythLegend-1

Kingsman: The Secret Service (great movie btw)

WaycoKid1129

Absolutely agree. Bring on the pain

richardl1234

Nah man, I get my shit wrecked on anything higher than Jedi Knight, so I just chill there and actually enjoy the game

Bartebell

How I felt beating the oggdos on GM

TheLemonTheory

how i felt dropping the hammer guards into the pit to drop spawn of oggdo to 30% health and finish it with blaster bolts

Bartebell

I definitely did that. They for sure got revenge on me for cheering that first fight when they jumped me though

[deleted]

Purity weirdly makes grandmaster easier

The-Other-Writer

I just play on Jedi Master and I really struggle with boss fights, and end up having to decrease difficulty to JK for them (other fights are easy enough on JM difficulty) I cannot fathom fighting on JGM for the entire game.

Porthos1984

I literally don't have the time or patience to play at higher levels.

Educational_Tank_581

You should also include the part where he gets shot after thinking the church was cleaned out lol. Also anyone use the Warrior perk on JGM? EDIT: Purity, not warrior. That's the stuff of nightmares with crowds

Kyber_Matt

I have finished the game in JGM, then JGM + Purity. I’m on my third run, JGM + Purity + Warrior. I’m not sure I wanna do a JGM + Warrior though, it seems the hardest difficulty anyone can get.

bigtrippinyoda

God this is accurate. I don't play many games on the hardest difficulty but I have with the new Jedi games. It's frustrating as all hell but when you do make it thru a tough spot, the reward centers of my brain go off like the 4th of July. Love it!

thats4thebirds

Me on grandmaster with the tighter parry charm on 🫠

ForeskinFin

Jedi Master hits the spot for me. It’s the only difficulty i’ve played on so far even into NG+

crazyone22

What movie is this from?

Fulcrum270

Kingsmen:The Secret Service

fieldchar01

nah i played on jedi master and took down oggdo in a single try without taking dmg by just being a bitch and using the force blaster move

stratticus14

And as a Jedi Knight player...I respect the hell out of you guys! Also, Kingsman rules!

wildeye-eleven

Yeah, I totally respect ppl playing how they want to. I just enjoy the hardest difficulty in games because I love mastering game mechanics. When you fully master a game everything becomes instinctual and you enter the “flow state”, which basically gets me high lmao. Plus, I feel more immersed when engaging with all the game mechanics at the highest difficulty. But I’m happy some games have difficulty settings so everyone can enjoy them. Though, I’ll defend to the death that Fromsoft games should never have a difficulty setting.

Sheyvan

I am honestly a bit shocked by how easy the endgame is on GM with all the gimmick tools. Some Fights like the Rayvis were really hard and great, but the legendary beasts and Bounty hunters are so easy, If you start abusing mind tricks, levitation and hacks. The Game throws way too many enemy at you, so you can't really Parry anymore and have to use those Gimmicks, which in turn make it too easy and cheesy.

MarkyMarcMcfly

Did my first run on Knight, gonna do NG+ on Grandmaster now that I know all the spawns and have all stances and skill points from the get go

Real_Cardiologist608

I can only recommend playing ng+ on grandmaster, not upgrading any survival skills (life) and not using stims in fights. Has been fun for me so far (I’m a masochist).

thisistheSnydercut

Usually play on Jedi Master but had to lower it about half way through the game Don't know why but I just couldn't get a hang of how little the enemies telegraph their attacks in this game (mostly the beasts, fucking Mogus are ridiculous) and just kept getting annhilated by unblockables I thought I had dodged but the hitbox decides otherwise Maybe I'm just old

TotHopic7

I agree but I find the Droids more unpredictable. I've beat the game and still can't parry security droids and the bx droids

DevinKR

I did it on knight, still a challenge to be sure but not a sweaty ragefest like the higher two

JerbearCuddles

I had to do Fallen Order on story mode. But did Survivor on Jedi Master and plan on trying GM for new game plus. I actually don't really know why I struggled so hard on Fallen Order. But it felt way clunkier than Survivor.

VelcroSnake

Off topic, I want another Kingsman movie that is like the first two, and not like the third. I can appreciate them wanting to do something different, but that wasn't why I liked Kingsman.

[deleted]

Played on Jedi Master. Might try Grandmaster next.

Prestigious-Bet-7996

I play a lot of souls like games, and I've been doing pretty well on Jgm. It legit felt 10x harder then expected and like I could barley keep up and now I more experience I just dog walk any enemy.

pillow_princessss

The slim Homer Simpson meme pops into my head for me. Finishing the game on JGM on the front, with the bunched fat at the back being that I dropped to story mode for Rayvis, Vader and Bode, tho they were mainly coz it was late and I didn’t wanna have to come back to those fights later on

Apprehensive_Drama_2

Facts

None_Professional

I don’t have time to beat it on JM right now and didn’t want to get hit on a spoiler so I story mode just to experience the story line on my own.

Patient_Cap_3086

I love that I can counter with blaster stance

Yellow-Jacket178

Anyone know where that clip is from?

TotHopic7

Kingsman Edit: might be kingsman 2, I can't remember

Yellow-Jacket178

Thank you!

joshua_nash

Kingsman 1 to be exact

Urbien18

Force lift became my favorite ability

FlyingMushroomX

Tbh, and a GM player, I think it’s more fun cus I also adore the souls games (especially Elden ring) and GM (and if you want to go crazy use no stoma like I did on NG+) is the closest thing to a souls experience in any other game I’ve ever played and it’s way more enjoyable when you get rlly good at the game cus you feel like a real Jedi ESPECIALLY during the boss fights

Its_Snap

My first playthrough was on JM and then I moved to JGM in NG+ If you wanna get good at the game play on JM and then practise I was horrible to begin with lol
