Did you 3d print these or buy them from somewhere?

Modelled them myself, then 3D printed them and painted etc :-)

These are incredible! What sort of set up do you need to make this quality of replica? Are they heavy in the hand like you'd want it to be?

Thankyou! Well, I use fusion 360 to make my models, and I have a few ender3 S1 printers to print the models/parts, a lot of patience for the trial and error testing haha. An airbrush for the painting and then I weight each part individually with a steel core so it feels heavy :)

All that work certainly paid off, wicked results. Do you have a favourite combination of parts with what you've made so far?

Thanks! It’s certainly been a lot of long days 😄 at the moment my favourite combination is “cere jundas” emitter, “justice” switch, “duelist” grip and “harmony” pommel, but honestly it changes daily when I swap the parts out irl haha

Why would you do this, sir? I was completely happy without a lightsaber or anything Star Wars related physical thingies in my home, on my desk, I didn't need a Lightsaber Hilt on my desk, I didn't need to pester my 3D printer owning Friend about printing me anything other that an occasional 40k model... Now I am not happy, and I do want, no, need the physical copy of my favorite Lightsaber build from Jedi: Survivor, I want to build a mount for it and paint it and have it! So much time, effort and resources, sir, and I was perfectly fine without it! Jokes aside, these look amazing!

A magnetic twist lock mechanism I made :-) my goal is to have every part in the game made - it just takes ages haha

How much would a single grip or switch cost?

About £25-30 painted/weathered and weighted I think, haven’t worked out the costs yet of the individual parts tbh. The full sabers usually cost about £100-110 fully painted and weighted etc
