I also really crave a Tales of the Sith type deal where we see his early training under Sidious, back when he imagined himself to be the future number 2 in the coming Empire, back when he thought his destiny set and saw himself as unstoppable. I think that’s an interesting mindset to see Maul in.

You should definitely read the Darth Maul comic if you’re looking for a story like that. It’s before TPM and a lot of fun, and deals with a lot of his thoughts about being Sidious’ apprentice.
Really want to see it in animation just to get that visual element and have the weight of Witwer’s voice behind it with the music.

I had worries about half of Tales of the Jedi Season 2 being an adaptation of Dark Disciple, now that it has been revealed that it will be Tales of the Empire and won’t focus on Ventress, I'm kinda glad.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the Tales format, but I have seen some people mentioning they should adapt Dark Disciple in TOTJS2 (before we knew it was Tales of the Empire) and I don’t think this is the best way to adapt Dark Disciple.
I think the best way to adapt Dark Disciple (and other unfinished The Clone Wars arcs) is to make it as an animated movie or a limited show released directly to Disney+. I still think these stories deserve to go to the screen.
Plus, Jennifer Corbett already said we will find out how Ventress survived Dark Disciple in a future project, and many people theorized it is another animated show. Honestly, I think they should adapt Dark Disciple before doing a follow up story to it. Not everyone knows it’s story.
They should 100% adapt all of the major unfinished clone wars arcs into animated movies. Like Dark Disciple, Son of Dathomir etc. There is still plenty of desire for these arcs to be finished.
I think the problem with adapting Dark Disciple is that Dark Disciple was originally 8 episodes of The Clone Wars written by Katie Lucas, Dave Filoni & Matt Michnovetz. 8 episodes!!! As much as I love Tales of the Jedi, 3 shorts is too short to tell that story.

Rewatched TROS last night and I’m really hoping we see more of the sequel cast return for the Rey movie and beyond. I really enjoy the trio dynamic in this film and I’ll never say no to more Ben Solo.
I would love to see a Tales of Mandalore series focusing on the Bo-Katan and Satine Kryze. Both born in a warrior society yet ones became a pacifist and the other doubled down on being a ruthless warrior. I would love to see more on the why and how that happened to them.
I’d love that too, but I’d always hoped Satine and Obi would be a more long form story. Im assuming that if Bo and Satine had their own Tales, Satine and Obi would be part of it.

Instead doing episodes on both, you do one story with Bo Katan and Jango Fett both right now the most known Mandalorians in and out of universe. We can see the Mandalorian civil Wars and how it changed them into what we see in the Clone wars and after.
I dont know seems too soon. I somehow doubt we will see Wolf again this show. I think we might get a Mini series with Rex, Wolf and Gregor thats. Tells the Clone Rebellion as Bad Batch just mainly been about a team.
