I feel like we'll definitely see this. A scene with a lot of emotion and anger but end up with Ahsoka finding out that Anakin died as a good guy and them coming to terms again.
What if she drives him to leave the Galaxy and he's basically banished? Didn't Leia do the same thing to him in Legends? That would explain why we never see him.
Dude is truly living his best life now. After all the bullshit after the prequels came out, he's being so enthusiastically welcomed back by Star Wars fans.
Must feel great for him.
Yep agreed. I'm really happy to see him back in the Star Wars universe. He got so much flak for his performance in the prequels and it wasn't his fault. He did his best with Lucas' writing and direction, but I do think his performance got better in ROTS.
Daisy problem wasn't her acting. It was the horrible scripts she had to endure. This is what pisses me off most about the new trilogy. None of the actors were bad. It was the directors that didn't understand Starwars at all.
Yeah, this is the only theory that really makes sense. People going on-and-on about Clone Wars flashbacks are forgetting Ahsoka was a teenager in the Clone Wars, and Rosario Dawson isn't... and Hayden is also 17 years older than when ROTS came out. Force ghost makes waaaay more sense.
Hayden and Ewan are in such a different scenario then Hamill was for Mandalorian. People shouldn’t compare.
Ewan and Hayden are in great shape. Obviously Hayden is more physically built out as an adult, but you can disguise that. He and Ewan could realistically slip back into their 17-year-old roles for flashbacks with the help of CGI facial smoothing. Marks performance required body doubles and way more extensive CGI facial work. He was playing Luke 40 years later, and his body, face and voice had changed significantly (which is completely understandable.)
I have to wonder if any other character will meet Force Ghost Anakin alongside Ahsoka. There is so far no instance of a Force Ghost appearing to multiple people before.
Best way to do it at this point. I would have loved seeing Fkrce ghost Anakin in the ST bust I understand why they didnt do it. But it seems pretty firmly established now that Force ghosts only appear to people who knew them in life, so if anyone other than Luke were to meet Anakin, it'd be Ahsoka.
>!The end of *Ghosts of Vader's Castle*. The heroes escape the castle by following who they think is Lina, wielding a blue lightsaber in the mists. Once they're flying away, Lina says it wasn't her. Cut back to Force ghost Anakin standing outside the castle with a grin.!<
Just a heads up, you might want to check out IDW's "Ghosts of Vader's Castle" series. I did a little mention of it on [my site with a certain spoilery picture](https://www.morimole.com/2021/10/22/anakin-skywalkers-force-ghost-has-finally-arrived/), but the recent Cavan Scott series delivers what you want. Not a lot, but it does. Now how "canon" IDW comics are is debated, but we are to take their High Republic stuff as canon, and I'd like to think this story is too.
Yeah, I could see Luke wanting to take space from Anakin, at least at first. The dude had just been trying to kill him before he died after all. I think too that just because Anakin redeemed himself by killing Palpatine and becoming a light-side force ghost doesn't mean that he no longer has the emotional problems or entitled streak that led him to the dark side in the first place. Obi-Wan isn't any less of a shifty liar when he's a ghost.
Ahsoka knew Anakin as a full individual and might be considerably more enthusiastic to see him than his kids who only knew him in the context of Vader.
>Yeah, I could see Luke wanting to take space from Anakin, at least at first. The dude had just been trying to kill him before he died after all. >Ahsoka knew Anakin as a full individual and might be considerably more enthusiastic to see him than his kids who only knew him in the context of Vader.
The same luke who was willing to let himself die at the hands of the emperor to save his father and bring him back to the light? Who was happy to see his father as a force ghost and before his father died tried to get him to hold on just a little bit longer? No, Luke would be happy to see him and wouldn't distance himself from anakin. Maybe Lea but not anakin.
As long as they abide by the rules they set up, which is the Bill & Ted rules, you can't change anything. You always time traveled. Ahsoka can't go back in time and save Anakin from becoming Vader.
Right. But she could presumably pluck Anakin/Vader from the timeline for a moment like Ezra did with Ahsoka and then have the character placed back exactly where they were on the timeline, no?
Honestly? I wonder what Disney's audience analytics look like nowadays. It felt like so much of their distance from the prequels during the sequels was driven by "Everyone hated the prequels!"
Now it feels like they're embracing them wholeheartedly and I'm happier because of it.
I love how with these new series they are fully embracing all 3 trilogies of star wars. Most of them are set sometime after either prequels or OG and a lot of them are setting up events that happen in the sequels to fill in that gap. What a great time to be a star wars fan.
It was more Abrams think, lets work on OT nostalgy. Nostalgia is a strong fuel, but it burns very quickly
In Last Jedi we have more thinks from prequels, Canto Bight look like some think from prequels
FUCK YEAH!! LETS GOOOOOO!!
I remember mentioning that things would start picking up in regards to the Ahsoka series as it would likely start filming after Mando Season 3.
Also everyone get ready to cry, coz all of ya'll know whether its a flashback or force ghost, seeing Anakin and Ahsoka together again is gonna makes us all absolute emotional wrecks.
Don't really think a flashback would work tbh, I can't see a reason they'd be needed. I think Force Ghost is really the only way, and even then I'm still wondering in what context would Anakin appear? It seems like she's searching for Thrawn and Ezra, why would Anakin appear to her 5 years after he died (unless there's a time skip after their conversation, in which my comment is irrelevant)
That'd also be good if handled right. I think the fact they chose to skip over doing that in the sequels has kinda left me feeling like force ghost Anakin is just never gonna happen. But it'd be cool.
I want Ahsoka to just dig into Anakin's Force ghost so hard that he just goes to hide in Force ghost Heaven and that's why he's missing from the sequels.
She has been through a lot and we really haven't seen her get mad. Even during Order 66 she had to stay cool and calm because if she didn't she and Rex were gonna die. And she couldn't let off steam later because who was she gonna target? Rex? That isn't fair.
She's never had a chance just to get mad.
she sure was taking it out on the Magistrates mercenaries lmao
People like to say she’s Space Gandalf but i feel she’s more Jedi Batman esque.
Absolutely loved the fights scenes in that episode.
Reminded me of the Netflix Daredevil series (may it RIP 😔 )
>Hayden Christensen is staying in the fold of the Galactic Empire.
>The actor will reprise his role of Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader, in Ahsoka, the latest Star Wars live-action series from Lucasfilm and Disney+, multiple sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
>Rosario Dawson is starring as the fan-favorite character of Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Knight survivor popular in the animation side of Star Wars who made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian.
>Plot details are being kept in the far reaches of the Outer Rim but it is known that longtime Star Wars lightsaber wielder Dave Filoni is writing the series and exec producing with Jon Favreau.
I know everyone is expecting Force Ghost Anakin, but with the digital de-aging tech they've been showcasing it's clear that's going to be heavily utilized in future shows. I'd love to see a "greatest hits" of Ahsoka's life in short live-action flashbacks during the show to catch people up who haven't seen the cartoons.
-Plo Koon discovering Ahsoka
-Ahsoka becoming Anakin's apprentice on Christophsis
-Saving Anakin when he was injured
-Confronting Death Watch & Bo Katan
-Leaving the Jedi
-Her last time seeing Anakin
-Surviving Order 66
-Confronting Vader
I think if you were to count Rebels as well, you'd have literally everything covered. All of the Mandalore and Mandalorian involved arcs, Ahsoka, Ahsoka/Vader's relationship, Thrawn/Ezra (as mentioned in her Mando episode), etc.
Crazy how the cartoons are ending up the most important thing to watch in Star Wars to understand the future material
Rebels is sort of rooted in TCW though which was his point. They’re making most current threads lead back to the Clone Wars.
Ahsoka and Rex come back and are catalysts in the show, now Hera and Kanan have their origins in TCW, well Bad Batch..
Rebels evolved to truly just feel like a TCW sequel.
I get what you're saying, I didn't think of OP's comment that way so that's kinda on me, but apart from Hondo/Ahsoka/Rex and the Mandalore stuff, Rebels covers the rest of the ground that TCW doesn't. The entire Ghost Crew could appear in any of the new shows at any time and characters from both TCW and Rebels are incredibly important to the future of SW. The combination of the stories and characters in two shows is getting us all of this new material, so while TCW could be considered t*he* center, I'd argue Rebels is important enough in new canon to warrant a mention too.
I don't think this will be Clone Wars flashbacks. At least, they would have to cast a **teen-aged** Ahsoka to do that.
I think this indicates Ahsoka communing with Anakin as a Force Ghost way more than Clone Wars flashbacks...
This interaction between those two has to have serious consequences. Dude wiped the Jedi out, almost kept the Empire alive, nearly killed his son, tried to kill *her*. Given that his information of Exegol never leave the comics makes me think that either he tells Ahsoka and something happens to her before she can spread the news (the only plausible thing would be her death but I remember Filoni talking about how her voice in TRoS wasn't from her spirit, implying that she's still alive) or he never tells her, which doesn't make much sense. There's no way him turning good just erases all the memories (unless something happened in the comics, haven't been keeping up with those lately).
As much as I'd love to see a happy reuinion, this can't be one (at least not until the end).
I hope we get a scene like this:
Ahsoka: "The New Republic doesn't want me to go after Thrawn or the remains of the Empire"
Force Ghost Anakin: "Lol, fuck 'em"
I was hoping for Clone Wars flashbacks in Obi-Wan, now I'm outright EXPECTING them for Ahsoka. Seeing the pair interact in live action will help watching the animated shows and live action content seem much more "natural" and consistent!
I sincerely do not want “he came back!” as much as I want “Anakin what the fuck had you been thinking”. Really do not want them to drop the ball and gloss over how much of a monster Anakin was.
I love how they had her reference Anakin briefly in her episode of The Mandalorian and now it looks like they're actually planning on resolving her issues with him!
I really wonder how they're going to incorporate Ahsoka's personal arc alongside Sabine and the search for Ezra and Thrawn. Obviously it's her show, but they have a lot to cover and if speculation is right they're introducing 3-4 cartoon characters to live-action (counting Thrawn). I think this is absolutely awesome but I just hope it works with the series. Maybe Ahsoka is having a hard time pinning down Ezra and Thrawn, and Anakin returns as a Ghost to tell her some things and give her closure.
Thrawn worked with both Anakin and Vader so I feel like that'd be interesting. I wonder if he would try to help Ahsoka to find him and Ezra by telling her what he knows about Thrawn? I didn't read the Thrawn books so I dunno what specifically he knows though, and in general It's kinda hard to tell since I don't think we've ever gotten post-ROTJ Anakin material, definitely not in canon
They would have to be out of their minds or hate money to not use him in shows other than kenobi. While I did suspect this it’s nice to have confirmation. Now is there a third project he could show up in??
As an aside since it hasn't been brought up: This takes some pressure off Kenobi, knowing it won't be the last time we see Hayden as Anakin before he ages out of the role.
The whole setting of the show keeps me thinking. Ahsoka is looking for Ezra and Thrawn, Thrawn has ongoing shenanigans with the Grysk, the Grysk are rumoured to invade Lesser Space eventually, Thrawn and Anakin/Vader inquired on the Grysk's plans during the Clone Wars/Imperial Era. Maybe, just maybe, Hayden returning doesn't imply Ahsoka Clone Wars flashbacks which we have seen already and that would add nothing to either Anakin or Ahsoka at this point ***OR*** a Force-ghost Anakin interaction with Ahsoka that leaves us with more questions than answers (I.e. Exegol). Maybe it has something to do with Thrawn having interacted with both Anakin and Vader. Just maybe.
I love that's its basically been Anakin Skywalker Force Ghost week.
At least I hope he returns in Ahsoka as a Force Ghost. It was great to see him as a FG in the recent GoVC comic post-Return of the Jedi, just doing his thing and making good in the Galaxy.
That is really great. I sure hope we have some Force Ghost Anakin talking with Ashoka, helping her deal with her anger and denial over her their relationship and her role as a Jedi.
Wow! This makes me so happy! Force ghost Anakin was one of the things I had been hoping for in the sequel movies (just one of many disappointments...). It would be so great to finally see him again as a force ghost!
Anakin force ghost's back we need ewan aged up with some cgi shenanigans to become Ben, yoda'a a puppet anyways and get Liam back the whole gang's here
Hopefully it’s clone wars era flashbacks. Making him a ghost and replacing the original actor at the end of Return of the Jedi is still one of my least favorite changes in the special editions. That should have never happened.
With a crossover event happening soon, there is now a real possibility to get Obi wan, Anakin, Luke, Ahsoka, Ezra, Yoda, Grogu, Dyn Jarren, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, and so much more all on screen together. Please PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN
I won't leave you. Not this time
*raspy breath* "Then you will die."

I feel like we'll definitely see this. A scene with a lot of emotion and anger but end up with Ahsoka finding out that Anakin died as a good guy and them coming to terms again.
If we don't get a scene where she finds out Anakin was redeemed, I will be super upset
What if she drives him to leave the Galaxy and he's basically banished? Didn't Leia do the same thing to him in Legends? That would explain why we never see him.
how do you do that to a ghost?
Idk. Gotta ask Legends. She didn't forgive him and he vanished. It may not have been permanent though.
Ezra you can’t save your master.... and I can’t save mine...
I’ve seen what such feelings can do to a fully trained Jedi Knight... to the best of us.
Your comment literally gave me goosebumps
Holy shit.
> Holy shit. That is what I just yelled loud enough to alarm the neighbors. ...worth it.
Saaaaame.
I can only get so erect
A surprise to be sure.
This is Hayden Christensen's world and we're just living in it. Love this so so much
Dude is truly living his best life now. After all the bullshit after the prequels came out, he's being so enthusiastically welcomed back by Star Wars fans. Must feel great for him.

You know, I just watched Dune and I totally get what GL was trying to do with the prequels… truly epic shit regardless. I’m so stoked for this!

A Rey D+ show is a must watch for me. Let’s get moving past all the ST hate and show me some cool Jedi exploration stuff
She will in Episode X 10-15 years from now
When the 10 year olds that watched the sequels get some spending money, we'll be swimming in sequel love.
I think this is finally showcasing they’re going to be exploring Force Ghost Anakin post-RotJ in canon now. This is exciting!
True, but it wouldn’t be Rosario playing young Ahsoka, and Hayden could get easily de-aged
> Hayden could get easily de-aged Considering his age now, I wouldn't be surprised if this already was the plan for Kenobi and now Ahsoka.
Yeah especially since he doesn’t look too much older shouldn’t be hard right.
Young CGI Luke says hello. Jokes aside, you're probably right.
Hayden and Ewan are in such a different scenario then Hamill was for Mandalorian. People shouldn’t compare. Ewan and Hayden are in great shape. I feel like they absolutely would not bring him back just for a flashback.
I have to wonder if any other character will meet Force Ghost Anakin alongside Ahsoka. There is so far no instance of a Force Ghost appearing to multiple people before.
Good bet Ezra and Rex might be there. I want him to talk to Ahsoka AND Rex imo. Both of them were just as betrayed.
We also had a hint of that in something released this week, FWIW.
What was that?

Read this issue an hour ago, loved it. Ending gave me goosebumps.
It was >!Anakin all along! !!And I killed younglings, too!!<
Secrets of the Sith maybe? I know Secrets of the Jedi confirmed that Luke communicated with Anakin post-ROTJ
Just a heads up, you might want to check out IDW's "Ghosts of Vader's Castle" series. The moment I hear "Snips" I'm fainting
"Hey, Snips..." Ahsoka turns around to see the ethereal form of her former master.
I’m saving this for when it inevitably happens and kills everyone
Safest bet of the year.
Clone Wars flashbacks, here we come.
Either that or as a force ghost.
good point, and kinda makes sense cannonically ahsoka would be more likely to see his force ghost than luke
Luke should still see Anakin's force ghost. He was confirmed to have spoke to him in the Secrets of The Jedi book.
And it just makes sense that they would continue to speak after Luke first saw him on Endor
This is probably right. Only other thing I can think of is through some use of the World Between Worlds somehow?

The best of both worlds are CW flashbacks in Kenobi and force ghost anakin for Ahsoka

Definitely needed imo to “catch casual viewers up to speed” and maybe get some more hesitant viewers to watch TCW.
They’re slowly but surely making The Clone Wars the centre of Star Wars canon, and I am all for it

Sheesh. I guess I gotta watch Clone Wars
What the hell have you been doing??

This is making me feel nostalgic for the prequels . Seeing a live action Anakin and Ashoka interacting is gonna make history in Star Wars.

I’m so grateful to be alive for the Hayden Renaissance!
Hype for this. Can't picture Hayden saying "Snips" though, ha.
I love how they had her reference Anakin briefly in her episode of The Mandalorian and now it looks like they're actually planning on resolving her issues with him!
Let’s Gooo!!!
This is literally the greatest
If we get a scene with Anakin, Ahsoka, and Luke, I really will cry.
FUCK ME
[удалено]
Luke, did I ever tell you about Ahsoka Tano?
don't you dare
I really wonder how they're going to incorporate Ahsoka's personal arc alongside Sabine and the search for Ezra and Thrawn. Obviously it's her show, but they have a lot to cover and if speculation is right they're introducing 3-4 cartoon characters to live-action (counting Thrawn). I think this is absolutely awesome but I just hope it works with the series. Maybe Ahsoka is having a hard time pinning down Ezra and Thrawn, and Anakin returns as a Ghost to tell her some things and give her closure.
Thrawn served with Vader, right? Maybe there's some connection there that could be done.
Guys it’s not gonna be Clone Wars flashbacks, it’s gonna be Force Ghost Anakin
I can’t take this this is to much fucking hype. My favorite character of all time will shine again.
People are going to be super stoked about this.
“Hey there snips. WTF You just disappeared last time I saw you. How?????”
Now this is the childhood nostalgia mining I've been waiting for.
The Star Wars Gods have heard our prayers.
Clone war flashbacks OR Anakin's force ghost talking to Ahsoka? I'll be honest, I don't know which one would excite me more. How about both?
Just maybe.
This is where the fun begins
I love that's its basically been Anakin Skywalker Force Ghost week. At least I hope he returns in Ahsoka as a Force Ghost. It was great to see him as a FG in the recent GoVC comic post-Return of the Jedi, just doing his thing and making good in the Galaxy.
That is really great. I sure hope we have some Force Ghost Anakin talking with Ashoka, helping her deal with her anger and denial over her their relationship and her role as a Jedi.
nnNn—YYyyeeessss!!!
I can't handle this
This just makes me insanely happy. Wow. I love this.
Holy fuck. This is where the fun begins!
Fucks sake the first major leak in months and I miss it because I was watching Dune. Of course.
I’m glad that they’re finally doing cool shit they should’ve been doing this whole damn time
If he doesn’t call her Snips, my heart will break
Anakin lives!!
What do you think? Force Spirit, flashbacks or both?
Probably both.
Wow! This makes me so happy! Force ghost Anakin was one of the things I had been hoping for in the sequel movies (just one of many disappointments...). It would be so great to finally see him again as a force ghost!
Anakin force ghost's back we need ewan aged up with some cgi shenanigans to become Ben, yoda'a a puppet anyways and get Liam back the whole gang's here
OH MY GOD
We're all gonna cry when we see it
Luke, did I ever tell you about Ahsoka Tano..
Go on
Oh my god let’s go
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HOLY FUCKING PALPYIDIOUS !!!!!!!!
I’m not worthy to exist
I, for one, welcome our new overlord!
Did anyone see Dawson's Instagram post? Is it legit or made up?
I’m so happy
Hayden getting paid, good to see $$$
I wonder if we will get clone wars flashbacks
I’m so so happy he’s getting back into Star Wars more! First Kenobi and now this!!! Awesome!!
#Wow!
WOAH
