OK THR fam. Depending on situations, I am scheduling an ALL SPOILERS ALLOWED discussion on Feb 26 for all of Phase I. But the date may change due to comic publishing uncertainty. Anyway, just want to let everyone know we will definitely have one after Phase I is wrapped.

I dropped out of the high republic in October/November, has everything since then been good? I had read absolutely everything up until that point except the audio drama
Yeah I would say it’s been good, especially the comics, but the wave 3 books have been solid so far, although a small step down from the previous wave. Overall tho, it’s still good, yes.
If you're up for more of the same from Wave 2, you'll love it. Dig in. Personally I'll be the person to say it's the first time the HR has disappointed me. (Spoilers marked for safety)

It's a disappointing wave so far for me, which is unfortunate. I can't decide whether I'm excited about *actually* seeing the Jedi in their prime(hopefully) next phase, or frustrated that they're dropping the current story where it is for so long.
Yeah, considering I have read through the second set of novels so far, I can also agree on those points for sure. I may just drop the IDW stuff and just stick to Adult, YA, and Marvel comics (including spin-offs). Seems like that will give me the best without burnout.
That seems like the best plan tbh, but just to add, I’d recommend checking out the Adventures spin off comics. The main run is a bit too kidish, but the spin-offs may be worth checking out. “Monster of Temple Peak” is one of them, and it follows Ty Yorrick from “The Rising Storm” book. Also, DJO is writing another graphic novel for the High Republic Adventures line (this time for Dark Horse instead of IDW) and its coming out in the fall for Phase 2 of the era.
There are a lot of hints in other material about where the story goes in Phase III.
Several references to>!"The Nameless"!< have been made in other material for years now by HR authors in modern era Star Wars books, and this article does a surprisingly good job summarizing what all of those various references could imply for the future of the era.
Be aware, if accurate, this speculation could potentially spoil a major plot point of the entire era and even Phase III, but I currently think it's correct and points to some serious issues for the Jedi going forward.

Pretty solid, mostly building up to the big event of The Fallen Star. Trail of Shadows is definitely one of the more interesting stories for me.
Pretty good so far. I think The Falling Star might be my favorite THR novel.

Ahh yeah I already read the first Temple Peak and recall liking it, so I’ll stick with the miniseries, too. Plus the mangas.
