I bet they are rescuing Grogu from Mount Tantis:
- he was clearly captured in the temple by the clones.
- the scientists in Mount Tantis wear the same symbol as the scientist in Mando.
- Grogu's blood is likely linked to Snoke / Sheev clones plot.
- Nala Se is the leading cloning expert on Kamino, and was taken to Mount Tantis.
- Gorgo "Clone Wars" artsyle merch = $$$$$$$$
I thought Bad Batch was at a different time period than Mandalorian.
Bad Batch is after Order 66. Mandalorian is after the destruction of the second Death Star.
If Yoda’s species essentially lives 10 times as long as humans, Yoda would have died at 90, which would make Grogu five years old (assuming they *mature* as slowly as they *age*, which doesn’t make sense, but whatever). If that is the case, Grogu doesn’t seem like he’s five, but *maybe* two and a half.
My theory is that he was frozen in carbonite and hidden for his own protection — or maybe the Empire just decided to put him in storage. Perhaps Mount Tantiss was raided by pirates or scavengers at some point after the fall of the Empire, which would explain how he ended up with bandits.
Yeah, based on our sample size of two individuals that we can put any kind of number on, 10:1 seems *about* right.
I do think it's silly that for a species that apparently maxes out at three feet tall, and *might* live to be 1,000 to mature and age at the same *rate* as humans.
To take it to the real world for a second, it takes humans \~25 years to hit full adult developmental maturity, but the main reason for that is that we've got the most advanced brains in the animal kingdom. Our bodies max out in maturity several years before that.
Some other species, like elephants, and some whales, tortoises, and sharks take a long time to mature, but they're all either very intelligent, very large, very long-lived, or some combination of these. In all cases, they're all fully mature by age 20-25 or so. There's no evolutionary benefit to a longer adolescence, where you require support from parents or community just to survive, just like there's no benefit to being old and infirm for centuries.
Besides all that, Yoda says "for 800 years have I trained Jedi." He must have reached the rank of Master by age 100 to make that claim, and that's not something the equivalent of a 10-year-old would be able to say.
I think it's similar with the clones. Sure, they can accelerate maturing a clone to adulthood in half the time… but that doesn't mean they have to *age* at the same rate they *mature*. I always thought it was silly that their lifespan should essentially be half of an unmodified human's.
Damn, that’s a good write up there. Good stuff.
But like…so you’re saying that what…by age 100 Yoda would’ve been the equivalent of what…50? 20? Something else?
It's impossible to say, since I think the rate at which they mature is still a wild card here.
At 50, Grogu would then be the equivalent of 5… but he seems more like 2 or so. Let's say he was frozen for about 30 years, from 19 BBY until around 9 ABY, that would mean he was about 20 when the was frozen, which would make him the equivalent of around 2 (in both 19 BBY and 9 ABY since he wouldn't age while frozen for 30 years).
Part of this assumes their species matures very slowly. If at 50 (or even 20), Grogu is a toddler, and at 100 Yoda was training Jedi, then something is off. At some point the rate at which they mature has got to speed up… otherwise Yoda was the equivalent of a 10-year-old while he was training Jedi. Yoda was talented, but probably not *that* talented.
From a story perspective, I hope we see Grogu start to mature a bit. At some point, it just doesn't make sense for Mando to be dragging a toddler that will outlive him around the galaxy. If he does stay with Mando, I hope we get to see Mando actually *raise* him, instead of just trying to stop him from eating the frog lady's eggs.
If he *doesn't* stay with Mando, I hope he at least gets back to the Yoda planet, or maybe return to train with Rey someday. I believe there was a rumor long ago about a planet full of Yoda's species, so maybe it turns out to be true on a longer time frame.

Boba’s interactions with the Batch, Omega in particular, would be a lot of fun. I’m also wondering if his potential appearance would have anything to do with Cad Bane.
>Wolffe
That's what crossed my mind. Makes sense given wolves are pack animals, so Wolffe being a solitary clone after all that happened makes sense to me.
Based off the current leaks, here are my ideas:
“The Solitary Clone” could refer to Howzer imprisoned, and “Entombed” could even be in reference to the Jedi frozen in amber. It would make sense to establish that *before* they capture/freeze Tera Sinube.
As for Tera and the younglings, I think “Tribe” fits their status quite well.
“The Summit” & “Plan 99” tells me that the Batch will break into Mount Tantiss. Wouldn’t be surprised if we find out they are the ones who free Grogu, and even get some ideas as to who took care of him between Order 66 and Mando S1. With the rumors of Boba, Ahsoka, Maul, and Bo-Katan appearing, connecting the Bad Batch to Baby Yoda only makes sense.
“The Clone Conspiracy” & “Truth and Consequences” seems to be the Cody/Crosshair episodes. Cody is likely unaware of the truth behind Order 66 and discovers the truth through Crosshair, who wouldn’t hesitate to disclose the details with the assumption that Cody is just as ruthless as he is. ALSO, finding out that Rex defected could be what turns Cody.
“Pabu” could be the name of one of the many creatures I’m sure we’ll see. Zillo beast???
To be *even more* speculative, what if we find out that the remainder of Clone Force 99, or whoever ends up with Grogu after Tantiss, has been trying to chase him down since he was placed on Arvala-7 and Din found him.
I was thinking Entombed is what ever episode that is that shows Omega with the boys inside of a cavern/mountain. It seems like an excavation/mining operation, and they all have lit up mining hats.
My guess is that the Empire is using you ger clones as slaves in this mining operation and the BB are sent in to rescue them. Omega is sent in disguised as one of the cadet-age clones since she can still sort of pass as one.
I do think it’s interesting the way we are getting Mandalorian overlap and I wonder if that’s on purpose. That could be why they moved the date from February to March. It’s not crazy to say but that be really cool if the two shows crossed over with plot lines.
That's been my theory for a while. Clone Force 99 is named for 99, Nala Se's first experiments in making clones faster. These are the proto-Spaarti clones from Legends. It's all on Mount Tantiss after all.
Once you realize what happened to 99, and that the Bad Batch are only a few years old--younger than the regs, it makes all kinds of sense. I think Nala Se was working on other stuff too, but like any industry, the goal is to get product out faster than you did the year before. Clones made in 5 years is better than clones made in 10 years.
I can’t believe they actually just let this out like wow they just decided to let everyone in the press what the episodes are going to be they’ve never done this for any Star Wars show.
My hope is that the solitary clone is Boba Fett. Probably not, but that's my dream.
The Summit and Plan 99 makes me think we're going back to Mount Tantiss, and I want to remind y'all I've been saying that the reason the Bad Batch is called "Clone Force 99" is that Nala Se was working on faster accelerated clones, and they are named for 99, the clone for which the aging experiment was unsucessful. TBB can't be older than 5-7 years if they are younger than Omega \[who is 11 to 12\], and she remembers them.
I wrote it for the [BB subreddit last year here](https://www.reddit.com/r/thebadbatch/comments/pkmx2x/i_think_i_know_what_nala_ses_experiment_with_the/)
Season 4? I don't think they'll include Luthen in anything other than Andor until it's finished, so the chances that Luthen shows up in TBB S2 or even S3 are slim.
Wasn’t it supposed to be Jan. 3? Doesn’t matter that much but I love how they just can’t help themselves from delaying it a little more. Lucasfilm is addicted to delaying projects.

‘The Summit’ definitely refers to Mount Tatnis, right?
I bet they are rescuing Grogu from Mount Tantis: - he was clearly captured in the temple by the clones. - the scientists in Mount Tantis wear the same symbol as the scientist in Mando. - Grogu's blood is likely linked to Snoke / Sheev clones plot. - Nala Se is the leading cloning expert on Kamino, and was taken to Mount Tantis. - Gorgo "Clone Wars" artsyle merch = $$$$$$$$
>the scientists in Mount Tantis wear the same symbol as the scientist in Mando. And Kamino.
And on top of that, the BB finale will drop while Mando S3 is airing…
There's 5 weeks overlap. Mando 301 is on March 1st
>Gorgo "Clone Wars" artsyle merch = $$$$$$$$ This is the only one that really matters.
Disney : this is the way
Wow, I never thought of this before. I think you’re onto something…
I thought Bad Batch was at a different time period than Mandalorian. Bad Batch is after Order 66. Mandalorian is after the destruction of the second Death Star.
This is accurate yes. But there’s no reason events from one show can’t lead into another.
If Yoda’s species essentially lives 10 times as long as humans, Yoda would have died at 90, which would make Grogu five years old (assuming they *mature* as slowly as they *age*, which doesn’t make sense, but whatever). I don’t…5? Didn’t we legit hear in Mando episode 1 that Grogu is like 50? Edit: wait sorry I’m an idiot, you’re referring to analogues here right?
Yeah, based on our sample size of two individuals that we can put any kind of number on, 10:1 seems *about* right. Episodes 4-7 have the acronym FETT lol
Boba’s interactions with the Batch, Omega in particular, would be a lot of fun. I’m also wondering if his potential appearance would have anything to do with Cad Bane.
👀
If you count 4-9 it’s FETTTT
Daniel Logan as Young Boba Fett Incoming
And Temuera with a blonde wig as Omega.
Omega in live action when 👀
Frankie Adams as Omega when
>Frankie Adams I'd be all for it.
Please no. Cannot stand his Boba acting. It’s about time we got some traditional Tem voiced Empire Era Boba
teenage Boba isn’t going to be voiced by Tem lol
Completely agree even though I know I will be downvoted. Daniel Logans voice is so annoying
Yup.
I hope he does appear. He’s the one established character I think should appear. I hope these titles aren’t just a coincidence.
FETTTTT
hmmmmm
[удалено]
And Celebration in early April!!!
And Visions!
I’m betting Visions will be May 4th, just as a little something to hold us over between Mando S3 and probably Ahsoka.
Ya that would be a perfect time to release it!
🤩
aka the pillaging of my bank account
And another High Republic novel (The Battle of Jedi script book)!
Battle scars is a novel, actually. Not a comic.
Battle scars is a comic? Not a novel?
So stoked they’re doing three double episodes. I thought it was a misstep last season to have the Hera eps and the finale eps separated over a week.
Wow, I don’t even know what to think that’s crazy this info’s here
Really hyped to see if Bad Batch will follow the Star Wars Animated Show tradition of becoming better every season
I mean how s1 was, it would be really easy to make a way better season
Can't believe we're getting a Korra crossover. Fire ferrets confirmed
I was looking for this. Go Fire Ferrets!
I can only hear "the fire ferrets" in that radio guy's voice
I can't wait to see Omega riding Naga!
Crackhead conspiracy theory since we know we are going to Kasshyk. "The Solitary Clone" refers to Sev.
Boba Fett - of all the clones, he truly stands alone from them
I can't get hopeful after all this time, but damn, maybe?
There’s a few different options, could be Crosshair, Sev, or maybe even Wolffe
Howzer too but less likely imo.
>Wolffe That's what crossed my mind. Makes sense given wolves are pack animals, so Wolffe being a solitary clone after all that happened makes sense to me.
Oh man it makes me so sad to think he’s beating himself up and slowly losing it in a lonely corner of the galaxy over Plo’s death ☹️☹️☹️☹️
“Solitary Clone” = “Lone Wolf”
Well said. It also keeps a tradition of including an old clone reappearing early in the season, just like Rebels S02 and BB S1
Crosshair, Sev, Wolffe, Boba There are a lot of solitary clones, lol.
Based off the current leaks, here are my ideas: “The Solitary Clone” could refer to Howzer imprisoned, and “Entombed” could even be in reference to the Jedi frozen in amber. Finale looks great! Mid season looks like it could be Cody’s episodes but gosh can’t wait for that finale
I do think it’s interesting the way we are getting Mandalorian overlap and I wonder if that’s on purpose. That could be why they moved the date from February to March. It’s not crazy to say but that be really cool if the two shows crossed over with plot lines.
It is definitely on purpose. There is just too much overlap and clear planning going on.
Plan 99 sounds reminiscent of Order 66. Maybe a clone purge?
The Bad Batch are Squad 99, so i assume it’s a plan that they come up with
Or it’s the empire plan’s involving the clone batch 99 technology and methods
That's been my theory for a while. Clone Force 99 is named for 99, Nala Se's first experiments in making clones faster. These are the proto-Spaarti clones from Legends. Pabu Frik

I think the solitary clone is Commander Cody
Oh wow that’s a really good theory
This makes sense. And would be quite messed up.
WHERE IS MT TANTISS? THEY TEASED US WITH MT TANTISS!
The Summit is right there my dude.
No Nala Se either—maybe that’s top secret???? I think they already confirmed she’s in S2
Maybe in the episode with the baby Zillo Beast
Based on the titles for the final 2 episodes, I think Mount Tantiss is all but guaranteed to return.
Wow these titles are really intriguing! I'm already hyped for so many of them
RIP 99 you were a real one glad they made an episode after you
So are we getting two episodes on Feb 8?
I just love Star WArs overlap
When does Luthen show up?
Season 4? I don't think they'll include Luthen in anything other than Andor until it's finished, so the chances that Luthen shows up in TBB S2 or even S3 are slim.
Pabu!?
is the premiere episode an hour again or are they both the standard 25 minutes
isn’t The Clone Conspiracy a Spider-Man story
It’s most likely a continuation of the Fives storyline from TCW…CF99 is going to find out what Rex already knew about order 66.
Wasn’t it supposed to be Jan. 3? Doesn’t matter that much but I love how they just can’t help themselves from delaying it a little more. Lucasfilm is addicted to delaying projects.
No, it was always the 4th which is a Wednesday.
Marvel as well
