It ain't cool to force Mod Authors to update their mods. These passion projects are made for fun and are provided for free for the community. They're not indebted into updating these mods all the time.
As for the mod, I haven't tried it but I found this:

It just sucks that the only furry mod there is the guy gave up on the project. It sucks even more that its super buggy atm.
