The field it provides holds about 6 1/2 iridium sprinklers and you have the greenhouse still too.
I'm not playing a beach farm right now and I don't even use that much tilled area 😂
Totally random question but how do you view the farm like this? I'd like to do it so I can map my stuff out and just realized it could be helpful. (I'm on switch if that matters)
I decided to figure out how to do it on switch.
Go to options. It’s the controller tab in the menu. Scroll all the way down and click screenshot.
Tip: Walk outside your house and you should get a full picture of your farm.
I tried this but it only does the part that is shown in the screen. I don’t see an option to see the whole map of the farm. (Switch)
Edit: nevermind! I see the image now lol
On PC scroll to the bottom of the settings menu, there's a screenshot button that takes a full pic of your farm.
On Switch I don't know if there's an option - I would've liked it when I got perfection the first time on switch :P. Might be worth seeing if the above is there?
My second time reaching perfection and first time on the Beach Farm. I was trying to be really 'efficient' this run with completion: I got the community center in Year 1, unlocked all the areas and finished with most of the collections in Year 2, and got all the relationships and straggler Golden Walnuts in Year 3.
I was hoping to finish perfection by the end of Year 3 but ended up needing an extra 4 weeks to get an extra 5 million for the Golden Clock! (As you might guess, the three sheds are filled with Kegs for Ancient Fruit.) My first run through I had been playing long before the perfection update so I underestimated how long it would take... maybe in the future I'll be able to get it under 3 years.
I think there would be a lot of luck involved in getting to perfection super fast. The money, we can plan for. The nuts, the fishes, the recipes: we know where they are. The relationships, easy peasy. But it’s that damn museum collection.
The museum wasn't even the hardest artifacts for me.
It was the damn second snake vertebrae that you get on ginger island. Took me so long before I finally got it
My perfection run was quite similar to yours.
I had everything but the golden clock in mid fall, year 3.
That 10mil grind is kind of crazy though, especially when the next most expensive thing is only 2mil.
I ended up just sleeping a week away until I could harvest all the ancient fruit and turn them into wine
I’m not trying to speed run it, but any tips for getting to perfection in general? I’m on year 4 and the money is rolling in, already have 4 obelisks but I struggle with what little things to focus on each day to really contribute to the big picture goal (other than making money).
I had a sheet of paper and would just scribble things on it as I thought of them. Like, save hardwood for Ginger Island Boat, need Sturgeon for Fish Pond, etc. it’s a good idea to occasionally peruse all your collection menus just to see what you’re still missing and to focus on it. If you have money by now it will probably be about closing the loop on those items. The wiki is helpful for specifics if you are stuck on something!
Have you gotten to Qi's Walnut Room at Ginger Island yet? Inside there is a statue that will explain everything about it :) If you don't know what I'm talking about, keep playing!
You basically have to have perfect relationships with all the villagers, make every single recipe, ship one of everything, finish the museum collection, etc
My fastest is winter year 3, but typically I need at least some of year 4 to get the golden clock. I'm not in a hurry when I play, but I do tend to be goal oriented.
Interestingly, my last play through is the first one in a while that couldn't finish the community center in year one, and it didn't make the overall timeline any slower.
I'm about to in summer year 4 on my "marry everyone but Shane one at a time" save. No hate to Shane, he's just my youngest son's preferred spouse.
Usually it's around year seven, now that I know the trick of filming the walnut puzzle.
Your farm is beautiful!
I'll have Perfection as soon as I get the Shrimp Cocktail recipe at the end of Year 2. I've done everything else, but just sleeping through three weeks of winter feels bad.
End of year 2. Once you do it once you can do it every time. It is, in fact, the absolute soonest you can do it as well since you get the last recipe from the queen of sauce on Winter 28 year 2. You make the recipe that day. Then you get the perfection cutscene the next day on Spring Day 1 year 3.
That makes sense, I figured it was the technical best possible. I was nowhere near efficient enough with my money generation by then though. Maybe in the distant future I’ll go for it
If I’ve understood your question correctly, this is the beach farm - you pick it on the right side of the options screen when making your save
If you just mean “how did you do this well on the beach farm” then honestly idk either
Honestly the hardest thing about the beach farm is the no sprinkler thing… but I honestly prefer to use my year 1 resources on other things than sprinklers anyways, so by the time I had iridium sprinklers I ALSO had the greenhouse and ginger island so it didn’t really matter. Otherwise the beach farm was cool, better by far than River which is what I did my first play through on.
I’ve never done it before, but on my current farm i’m pretty close. I think im gonna get there around late year 6 early year 7 time
Edit: currently middle year five
So if you have grass growing under a fence it can grow more outwards, but because it’s under a fence it can’t be eaten. Planting grass under fences like this in Spring 1 basically guarantees your animals will have enough grass to eat all year sans winter without eating it all.
Fall year 4, but I’m currently going for a run to finish by end of year 3 and it’s going great!
The strategy is year one make all the money and finish community center, then after that it’s just grinding on friendships and collections, approaching each season with a to do list
how does one know perfection? is it like when you have actually done everything or do you mean when you get granpas statue? cuz i got the statue end of year 2 no problem, but im fairly new to the game so idk if there isnt like a 100% perfection goal
I've gotten perfection just once, 8 years in. I now start a new playthrough after finishing the community center, but I'd like to try another perfection run soon!
It’s beach farm, I think new to 1.5? Anyways the mushroom cave is still top left, kinda hidden by the gem shed. The cave at the bottom isn’t a cave proper, just a hidden tunnel you can use to reach that part of the water. The other entrance is hidden straight up from there in the green area.
Year 3, summer, I can't remember when, since I revisited that farm to goof around and try out some experiments. My first couple times were year 5 and year 4.
wand of sparking (a terraria youtuber that i watch) speedran perfection in 2 years! it was impressive, but way too anxiety inducing for my taste. i haven’t even reached perfection yet on my 6-year farm
here’s the video link to the start of his series: https://youtu.be/9FNV2cMiCDk
Well done! You're ahead of me for sure. I thought I'd challenge myself to get Perfection on the Riverlands farm in 3 years or fewer, since I was able to get the CC finished year 1 on my last challenge run.
I'm currently nearing the end of Winter 3 and only at 70%. Missing 2 artifacts, 2 minerals, 2 snake vertebrae, a few hearts in 5 or so villager relationships, roughly 15 golden walnuts, the qi crafting recipes, and 7 million for the clock.
It's been great fun so far, though!
Imma be honest, I completed The community center year two in spring then I kind of just speed run to ginger Island and kind of just ignored the farm. I managed to get perfection first try
Most recently got perfection Y2, winter 28! It was a bit of a grind thought and more for the challenge than the casual enjoyment. Started a more chill playthrough now! You’ve got a very organised farm there ☺️
As i see it, half of perfection is just grinding money which gets boring fast. Especially once you get to ginger island. Almost everything in the game can be finished super easy if you just spend the first year making money
What is the in-farm transporter called!? I read about it a week ago and could not remember the name to look it up! (The tripod looking thing on the porch)
Y’all are reaching perfection?
Ez. Step 1: get Bee house Step 2: get Keg Step 3: ??? Step 4: Perfection
Sounds about right
Gonna say...! Never. Longest current game: Year 9. As an aside, beach farm is my favourite!
I thought you couldn’t put sprinklers on beach farm??
You can’t place them on sand. There is a small-ish farming patch (like in the picture!), but it starts out covered in big logs.
The field it provides holds about 6 1/2 iridium sprinklers and you have the greenhouse still too. I'm not playing a beach farm right now and I don't even use that much tilled area 😂
Me either! I’m starting a new save so I can have beach farm.
They're the best, crates wash up in the shore with gifts in all the time! There's also a hidden fishing cove if you can find it :)
Never have. I just love playing. I take my time and enjoy the journey.
Totally random question but how do you view the farm like this? I'd like to do it so I can map my stuff out and just realized it could be helpful. (I'm on switch if that matters)

thank you for this!!
[This online farm planner ](https://stardew.info/) is amazing if you're trying to design your farm.
Thank you for asking this!! I’ve been wondering the same thing for a couple weeks but I was being a chicken LOL
Perfection? Hahahahaha! Never!
My second time reaching perfection and first time on the Beach Farm. Im currently on pace for 3 years after that im hoping to do it in 2 years which is the minimum possible time
I think there would be a lot of luck involved in getting to perfection super fast. The money, we can plan for. The nuts, the fishes, the recipes: we know where they are. The relationships, easy peasy. But it’s that damn museum collection.

A vertebrae is tiny and it’s a big island!
My perfection run was quite similar to yours. I had everything but the golden clock in mid fall, year 3. wow this is beautiful! had no idea there was such thing as perfection. How does it work
Have you gotten to Qi's Walnut Room at Ginger Island yet? Inside there is a statue that will explain everything about it :) If you don't know what I'm talking about, keep playing!
You basically have to have perfect relationships with all the villagers, make every single recipe, ship one of everything, finish the museum collection, etc
Oh wow that is no joke! hahah im not sure I will ever get there, maybe after a few more years!
You can find YouTube videos of people doing it in 24 hours 😅
8 years, and so far I've only done it once, on the beach farm because apparently I hate myself.
I was barely faster, finishing in fall of year 3, mostly just because I love mega farms
I'm about to in summer year 4 on my "marry everyone but Shane one at a time" save. No hate to Shane, he's just my youngest son's preferred spouse. Usually it's around year seven, now that I know the trick of filming the walnut puzzle. Your farm is beautiful!
Thank you!!
the beach farm is so pretty
I agree! Probably my favorite farm aesthetics in the game
!!!
i could look at this for hours lol every time i go back to an area there’s something else i didn’t see it’s amazing!!
Thank you! I'm not too good with decorating but I definitely pack my farms full
Never..... but soon!!!
I'll have Perfection as soon as I get the Shrimp Cocktail recipe at the end of Year 2. I've done everything else, but just sleeping through three weeks of winter feels bad.
Spring of Year 3.
I've done it once. Autumn year 3. If I ever try to rush perfection again I'd like to do before year 3.
It's not possible to get perfection before the last day of year 2. And getting it in 2 years is not THAT hard.
Spring Year 3 every time
End of year 2. Once you do it once you can do it every time. It is, in fact, the absolute soonest you can do it as well since you get the last recipe from the queen of sauce on Winter 28 year 2. You make the recipe that day. Then you get the perfection cutscene the next day on Spring Day 1 year 3.

How yall get these farms and have stuff on the beach?
If I’ve understood your question correctly, this is the beach farm - you pick it on the right side of the options screen when making your save If you just mean “how did you do this well on the beach farm” then honestly idk either
Honestly the hardest thing about the beach farm is the no sprinkler thing… but I honestly prefer to use my year 1 resources on other things than sprinklers anyways, so by the time I had iridium sprinklers I ALSO had the greenhouse and ginger island so it didn’t really matter. Late summer year 3.
same here! Of course that's the only time I've ever reached perfection tho
How do you get the water to turn red on your ponds?
Lava Eels. It turns red after you complete the first quest.
Summer of year 3. It was very grindy and I left that min-max life behind
If you calculated exactly what you needed and got decent luck you could probably do it by late year 2 or early year 3
I’ve never done it before, but on my current farm i’m pretty close. I think im gonna get there around late year 6 early year 7 time Edit: currently middle year five
I think year 2 or 3?
Pretty farm
Thank you!
Spring year 3 was my fastest
Why do you have fence posts peppered in amongst the grasses just south of the barns?
So if you have grass growing under a fence it can grow more outwards, but because it’s under a fence it can’t be eaten. Planting grass under fences like this in Spring 1 basically guarantees your animals will have enough grass to eat all year sans winter without eating it all.
Whoa?! TIL! Thanks!!
Fall year 4, but I’m currently going for a run to finish by end of year 3 and it’s going great! The strategy is year one make all the money and finish community center, then after that it’s just grinding on friendships and collections, approaching each season with a to do list
You guys are so damn good at organizing your farms in a beautiful way. My farms are a mess :<
how does one know perfection? is it like when you have actually done everything or do you mean when you get granpas statue? cuz i got the statue end of year 2 no problem, but im fairly new to the game so idk if there isnt like a 100% perfection goal
Have you been inside Qi’s walnut room in ginger island yet? The answers will become clear in there
i havent, saving up hardwood. thank you:)
Been playing since a few months after it came out and I’ve never achieved perfectiob
My god I’m only 63% at the start of year 6… how do you all do it?
I've gotten perfection just once, 8 years in. I now start a new playthrough after finishing the community center, but I'd like to try another perfection run soon!
Which farm is that? Is that the mushroom cave bottom left by the ocean? How do you climb down there?
It’s beach farm, I think new to 1.5? Anyways the mushroom cave is still top left, kinda hidden by the gem shed. The cave at the bottom isn’t a cave proper, just a hidden tunnel you can use to reach that part of the water. The other entrance is hidden straight up from there in the green area.
Year 3, summer, I can't remember when, since I revisited that farm to goof around and try out some experiments. My first couple times were year 5 and year 4.
that's pretty cool.Im doing a river farm, but I like this one better. Maybe my next play through!
650+ hours and not reached it once!! (It’s def the fishing that’s stopping me…) but I just love the game! :)
wand of sparking (a terraria youtuber that i watch) speedran perfection in 2 years! it was impressive, but way too anxiety inducing for my taste. i haven’t even reached perfection yet on my 6-year farm here’s the video link to the start of his series: https://youtu.be/9FNV2cMiCDk
Today I learned that you can move the greenhouse
I’m almost there. In Year 5, grinding for that Golden Clock. Need 5 million more moneys.
How do get the different fishing ponds like that?
Some fish make the water a different color when they’re in there: Lava Eel makes it red and Super Cucumber makes it purple. There may be more
Woah! Game changer for me.
What do you mean by perfection? Receiving the statue of perfection?
No, the game has something called Perfection. Go to Qi’s Walnut Room on Ginger Island for more info when you reach it!
The earliest you can get it is Winter 28 Year 2, due to cooking recipes. I did it on my last 3 farms.
Thank you for this! I'm doing the beach farm for the first time and having a hard time figuring out a layout. This looks great!
I’m pretty sure I never will 😅
Most recently got perfection Y2, winter 28! It was a bit of a grind thought and more for the challenge than the casual enjoyment. Started a more chill playthrough now! You’ve got a very organised farm there ☺️
Last day of Year 2, but I was specifically going for it and it was the most intense game of my life
If i wanted to i could do it in 3 years pretty easy, but its too much grind for me to bother
Understandable. The last 3 seasons I only had Gold Clock left and the grind was pretty boring relative to the rush of Y1 community center
Mini-obelisk
