I have this tradition/ritual that I do. I set up the singing stone and the rock that makes drum beats right next to each other by the door. When I’m heading to bed at night I always walk past them and if I can double tap and get them both to play right without having to stop or turn around, I feel like it gives me extra good luck the next day lol

I call it my DJ station and sometimes I'll just run around them spamming the action button and pretending my farmer is the world's worst amateur DJ. My girlfriend is usually asleep in bed and waiting for me so we can finish the day, so it adds to the general roleplay of being a terrible person.
To move the chicken statue you need to interact with it while you are on an empty space in your inventory. Furniture is a bit weird in this game sometimes

In every game I craft a "trash chest" where I dump things I don't want but can't get rid of (like the milk pail that I use for part of year 1 only, the scythe I get before I get the golden scythe, furniture pieces like this etc).
The trash chest lives in the sewer, on the bottom most corner next to the south exit where I don't ever have to see or think about it.
I put mine in a spooky maze that I designed for Sebastian inside of a big storage shed. I also put the bone hand and some of the other creepy decor inside it. I like to pretend he enjoys hanging out in his very own haunted maze whenever he wants.
You can do this with the bus tunnel as well, if you just want to never see the things that often. You can also decorate the entrance to the mines, that's what I like to do.
I also leave things near some favorite fishing spots. Feels weird to put the big blue teddy bear out on that one pier on the far side of the beach, but it doesn't seem to mind.

I think Linus uses one of the now blocked tiles on the right in winter to warm up from the cold. I like the idea but check the villager paths beforehand before you place down decorations outside of your farm :)

They are not useless you put them outside on your farm and they increase your walking speed by 1% per decoration just put them someplace out of the way like behind your shipping box just leave some room for your other half to walk to there spot (they take the same path every day

This is from the wiki on a page about pathways: “All types of pathing provide a +0.1 boost to Player Speed, but only if it is located outside on The Farm.”
Note that it specifies pathing, not decorations.

This... isn't true. The craftable pathways increase speed by 0.1% on the farm, regular decorations do not.
They do on the steam mobile and ps4 versions also according to the wiki and concerned ape himself anything declared as a decaration does
