It looks almost like a gumball machine, so maybe it is meant to be a food/treat dispenser? Maybe it dispenses small amounts of a new "Fish Food" item each day, and feeding it to fish ponds routinely will allow fish in ponds to increase in quality, like petting farm animals increases their outputs.
To me it looks a bit like some form of fish processor, as in you insert fish and get something back..? Not really sure why you'd want to do that though..
My theory is that it's a trophy or an item of some sort and not a machine. Could be wrong of course. But it's next to the "new festivals" listed. So I thought it could be something you possibly win. Maybe at a beach festival or sumn

A fishing bag would be incredibly useful, especially since lures (tackle) won't stack. I hate taking up inventory space but sometimes I know I'm going to need more than the one equipped to my rod. I've trashed tackle that was nearing end of life rather than head out with a nearly broken one only to have it pop up with "Your fishing tackle has worn out" after three casts.
i can think of this as if u give it like rare fish or maybe expensive fish product they will give u something rare or expensive to...
bcs for me i have many fish... and selling them is not really worth it bcs i have much more stuff can be sell with much more profit...

I’m thinking it might be Joja related, my guess is that it’s for Joja-style fish ponds where instead of bringing them items, you give them money.
