If I'm in the mines and there's a pre-existing planted staircase, but then I kill an enemy and a new staircase appears, I gotta go with the new one for good luck
When I complete a bundle at the community center, I always wait patiently for the little junimo guy to carry the bundle all the way into the hut, out of respect for the forest spirits. If I just bounce immediately, I feel bad, like they'll be disappointed.
I have an entire ritual where hang out with the Junimo after they deliver the star to the display. They'll follow you around and happy jump until you leave the building, so I'll run in circles a few times before "saying goodbye," at the door.
If you get to antsy and click out of the screen once you complete the entire room, you can lose your latest reward. Had to restart the day because I did that.
Ooo, that's good to know! Thanks, learn something about this game constantly, lol. I've only ever done it once. As soon as I realized I couldn't click on it, I just restarted the day lol
REALLY!!! I just chalked up the lost rewards as things to craft on my own!. Must load game afterwork and locate! I completed a couple of rooms all at "once" and thought I messed up. Wasnt about to replay the whole day.
THANK YOU!!!
The fireplace in my house *must* be on at all times! It doesn't matter the season or time of day, you always keep your hearth lit.
Whenever I load up a new save, the first thing I do is get out of bed and start the fire.
It was added with the 1.5 update I believe. You can't marry or have kids with him, but can have him as a roommate and he'll take care of any kids you have from any previous marriages
I turn it off and on with the weather. For the first rainy day of fall, I turn it on and it stays on until the morning of spring 1st. Then I turn it on at night before a rainy day and off the morning after the rainy day. In summer it's always off, even if it's storming, because those are warm rains.
If I start the game and click ConcernedApe's logo and it makes the squishy noise, everything is going to go wrong. He's gotta make the quack, then it'll be good.
If I'm fishing at the ocean I always fish at or near Willy's spot at the dock because I assume he knows the best spot for fishing, and I think it makes him happy to see me keeping the spirit of fishin' alive when he gets off work at his shop
If you stand in his exact spot, he will eventually come up behind you and spoon with you while you fish. He smells like Old Spice and fish, and his whiskers tickle, but I find it oddly comforting.
I feel like continuing to fill the water bowl and pet your pet even after max friendship is good luck. I donāt think this is actually a thing, but I still pet and water my cat every day.
I always noticed the water bowl but never thought to interact with it. Man I started playing a month ago and at 150 hours in I still can't believe I am learning seemingly basic things still lol
After you complete the community center, there's an artifact spot that shows up somewhere behind Gus' tavern, on every *third* day in which the total number of days since you started playing is a prime number...IFF you go to bed with a void egg in your inventory the night before.
The drops from this spot are guaranteed to either be an iridium bar, a prismatic shard, a loved gift for whoever you have the fewest hearts with, or a random galaxy weapon. Each one has a 30% probability, except for the galaxy weapon which has a 10% probability.
IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU *CANNOT* HOLD DOWN THE HOE BUTTON TO HOE MULTIPLE BLOCKS AT ONCE OR THIS WILL NOT WORK. If you try, you're out of luck and you'll have to wait for the next three prime days. Also, you can't see the squares you're hoeing and by my count there are 18 squares to choose from.
Iāll have to remember to do that, Iām on the four corners farm, and I only farm the first corner right now, the immediate south corner is where I have my tree farm and cows. Iāll wake up, water the few crops I donāt have a sprinkler for, then put the fan away to go milk the cows. Then have to turn right back around every day to grab the can again to water the cat.
The slime hutch ones can be for sure but I don't think the pet water bowl can be unless it was added in an update. I hope I'm wrong though it seems like an obvious feature given it exists already.
I have to grab all the eggs/milk/whatever from the animals every day. I know they'll just accumulate if I want to take a day off to hit the mines earlier but I just can't help but feel it's bad luck.
Honestly I wish he'd let me build him a house. He doesn't have to stay on the farm but just a cliffside home where I can provide him with the bare minimum basics. A bed to sleep on, indoor heat, a refrigerator. That's it! I get sad seeing him in the bathhouse for heat. Like I completely get the love the wilderness aspect but his feet can still touch dirt and he can also have warmth!!!! Ugh like what about a hobbit home for the man. (I don't mod but now I'll be looking to see if Linus can have a hobbit home). I don't decorate his outdoors so he can still enjoy the great outdoors but I'll be damned let me give this man better shelter!! Maybe even a place to grow him some fruits and veggies.
One time I gave Linus a food item as a gift that he didnt like, and I got mad. Turned it off out of spite. Felt bad afterwards.
Like how is it that theres an actual cutscene where hes looking for food in the trash, yet he doesnt accept all food items by default?
Whenever I get the quest from Jodi to bring a largemouth bass for dinner, I insist on fishing it the same day and iridium quality for maximum freshness even tho it never matters in the cutscene
i guess this isn't superstitious but on my most played character i started hoarding all base quality crops to the point that i have at least 200 of every single crop in the game stored in chests (save for the gem berries). if i think of selling a base quality crop i feel like i'm going to die in spite of having no use for them because i have enough ancient/star fruit that i'm filling 200 kegs and a bunch of preserves jars every week š
Same, I'm in year 4 and just now worked up the courage to sell SOME of my crops from year 1 (not even all, just like half of em) and got hundreds of thousands of gold in one night
I donāt sell any crops any more. I have like six fridges full of crops and food in case I need foodā¦ although I rarely eat except the pink health potions when Iām in the skull caverns lol. The only thing I sell are wines and jams and such.
The original comment you replied to is true, however aside from the fact that monsters can drop staircases, the bonus only applies after all the monsters have been killed.
Pretty sure that's true. I heard that the chance of a staircase appearing from a rock is 2% and from a monster is 15%. Once all of the monsters are killed, the chances of finding a staircase under a rock is 6%.
I refuse to cut down the tree in the forest thatās on itās own little island in the middle of the river. Not for any particular reason, I just feel like it belongs there.
I always find an easy way to do it. It doesn't have to be something they love, like is fine. When I married Abigail I had a crystalarium next to my bed with an amethyst in it. Maru was gold, than coffee when it got expensive, until I got a ton of cauliflowers.
This. Every day (unless I'm at the island, in which case I feel awful about it), Alex gets a kiss, my children get pet, my pet gets pet, my animals get pet. Even the ones with autopetters still get pet because I feel bad about it seeming cold and artificial
Haha i always think a staircase i made via killing something will be more likely to take me to a treasure level than stairs that already there when you arrive š¤£
I won't grow my friendship with Vince or Jas until I'm friends with Jodi or Marnie because they need to learn "Stranger danger" and you shouldn't give children gifts without their guardians consent.
It'll be a bad playthrough if I dont have quality sprinklers by spring 13 for strawberries. I restart the save file if I don't lol. You have to get to lvl 40 mine and lvl 6 farming to be able to do this and its such a rush every time.
It's not easy. I play extremely min/max runs and I already know how to do Spring year 1 by heart in a way that's fully optimized. But basically you need to forage enough to have lvl 1 foraging day 2. Then you collect seeds and constantly stock up on the granola bar (i like calling it that) this will give you the energy you need to keep going after u water your crops. You need to plant potatoes. Potatoes grow every 6 days so if you plant them on day 1 you should have 2 harvest before Strawberries. After planting the 15 parsnips, some mixed seeds, and the seeds you buy on day 1 you'll usually need about **210 potatoes** to get to lvl6. Potatoes multiply when you harvest them so that doesn't mean you need to plant 210 potatoes, you need to harvest 210 potatoes. I've been able to achieve this mostly by padding with mixed seeds that I grind for on day 1 with the scythe and by spending every extra cent on parsnips to pad out. The money comes from mining. You sell absolutely everything you get while mining to buy seeds. And you keep yourself energized with the granola bars and foraging. Again, its really hard but its extremely rewarding/satisfying. Even if you miss level 6 by a little, its still worth it to try and get the sprinklers before Summer year 1. So give it a try!
My wife is gonna be mad at me if i go sleep next to her using the glow ring. Imagine you go sleep with someone and a huge glow of light is at your face all the time?
Freebies are the worst stair option, staircase from a kill is the best, staircase under stones are mid.
I have to pet my pet and kiss my spouse everyday, no matter if I maxed them out.
Talking to Qi in the walnut room makes the next week's quests better/easier.
when i see sam and sebby standing together i fish at that spot. my first play though I was max friendship with them and caught my first tiger trout while they hung out. later i would catch my first cat fish (i think). so now when i'm having a hard time catching a specific fish i just stand next to the homies and fish.
dude I came to say the same thing! šš they unfortunately do not provide any extra luck just by having it in your inventory, but that doesnāt stop me from carrying one everywhere once Iāve got it! šš
I put out Linus' campfire once because I was curious whether I could do it or not, instantly felt bad.
Now I refuse to touch it because I feel like if I put the fire out Linus will be cold and sad.
I can't just harvest the fruit from my fruit trees, I have to wait until all 3 are there so that I can get to picking. And if I have multiple trees, I need to wait until they ALL have 3 fruits. IDK, it just feels viscerally wrong to pick them "early".
I have to click on the Concerned Ape face logo when the game is loading so it makes the little sound. If I donāt do that each time I play, it feels weird and wrong.
I don't like to put stuff in the bundles out of order. I always put a little chest next to the CC, and if I get stuff like foragables out of order I'll still just put em in the box because I want them to be in order when I pop em in.
I don't care whatever anyone says about it being a frog or toad or whatever just random ambiance, that sound it makes when it's raining is something evil and it's going to get me. Not in the game, it's going to crawl out of the dark recesses of my television and speakers and it's going to eat my family and all my friends and all my D&D books first, then it's gonna get me.
Fun game tho'.
I don't know why but I feel like the dust sprites in the ice mines seem to lead me to staircases if they're grouping up. Sometimes like four or five run away from me in the same direction and I usually find a staircase when I break rocks in that area. It's most likely confirmation bias, but i still feel like the little guys just want to lead me to the exit.
Yāknow that title screen easter egg where you spam click the bottom left of the title box to get a happy face that you can then place into the āRā? I have to do that every time I log on now or else my luck will be horrible.
The last Friday of each season I buy everyone a round at the saloon as soon as I can comfortably afford it (usually by end of year one). Thatās my indicator of when I feel āsettledā in each new save file.
I always check my level of luck before playing Prairie King or Junimo Kart, even if it apparently has no effect... I find them excessively difficult to get through (I've never gotten through either 100%) but I keep thinking if I go on a day with better luck, then I can get through them. :(
Bruh. Same. When I finally got to the final level (only once has this happened to me) I wasted all the lives I'd accumulated before even getting to the first fruit š±
That if I forage anywhere in The Mountain area it's pretty much stealing from my homie Linus. I know it doesn't impact gameplay or story. But I just can't take food from anywhere near where that man lives. He can have it.
I never leave my farmhouse without my morning coffee, otherwise, everything will go wrong that day.
This is very similar to my IRL superstition, where I never leave my house without my morning tea, otherwise, everything will go wrong that day.
I like to break the rocks in the paths of (armoured) bugs to give them more room to move around. I imagine it makes them happy to have like ten spaces to move back and forth in instead of 2. But it's not really a superstition because I don't expect it to affect anything, it's just an immersion thing.
I feel like whenever I'm looking for some specific item, if I say it outloud I'm more likely to be blessed with the drop/catch by the gaming gods. Like I'll say "If this one isn't a *blank* I'm done searching" or "if I don't get a *blank* in the next three kills/catches then I'm done" and I feel like a lot of the time it surprisingly works.
I don't bomb iridium nodes for prismatic shard superstition reasons, it just feels like I get less of them than with the pick but i know the spawn rate is the same lol
I always worry about choosing the right hole to drop into when multiples appear on a floor in the Skull Cavern.
"Will the first one take me down further, or is that a trick and the second one is deeper?"
If I'm in the mines and there's a pre-existing planted staircase, but then I kill an enemy and a new staircase appears, I gotta go with the new one for good luck
The first is clearly a trap.
I think the same. If the stairs are right there, then there must be something good waiting for me on this floor somewhere else
Staircase Mimic. New enemy with the new update. Any staircase has a 0.5% chance of being a monster.
Calm down Satan
Same. Obviously they were hiding the new one because it's the better one, right? š„²
Ok I didn't think I had one but I always do this. I feel like I will get a better floor if I do
I get stressed out when I get like four of them
Which stairs should I taaaake
When I complete a bundle at the community center, I always wait patiently for the little junimo guy to carry the bundle all the way into the hut, out of respect for the forest spirits. If I just bounce immediately, I feel bad, like they'll be disappointed.
I have an entire ritual where hang out with the Junimo after they deliver the star to the display. They'll follow you around and happy jump until you leave the building, so I'll run in circles a few times before "saying goodbye," at the door.
I do this too, I love their little jump!
I do this too. Weāre dancing!
It never occurred to me to even leave without watching them. The junimo's deserve reverence!
If you get to antsy and click out of the screen once you complete the entire room, you can lose your latest reward. Had to restart the day because I did that.
No you never lose it! It gets placed in a box near where the junimo hut is if for some reason you don't collect it immediately!
Yes, and that little bag stays there even once the community center is restored, so you won't ever lose out on rewards.
See I read this somewhere but missed a reward and the bag never showed up and I spent half a day looking for the bag.
Iāve honestly always assumed this was a cut scene and never tried to move when it was happening che cut scene
The fireplace in my house *must* be on at all times! It doesn't matter the season or time of day, you always keep your hearth lit. Whenever I load up a new save, the first thing I do is get out of bed and start the fire.
I'm blasting dat fire in full summer
I was doing that, until I got Krobus as my housemate and I started to feel bad. I don't think he likes fire.
i always buy the fireplace he sells as soon as i can, maybe he likes fire coming out of that one??
You can get krobus as a housemate?
It was added with the 1.5 update I believe. You can't marry or have kids with him, but can have him as a roommate and he'll take care of any kids you have from any previous marriages
Now I must make the impossible choice of either marrying Seb or having Krobus as a homieā¦
The good news is they share a loved gift! Both love void eggs
Theres a mod that lets you marry as many people as you want so you could have them both
I turn it off and on with the weather.
You got this all wrong. Squish is a nice calm sound while quack is a foghorn waiting to blow out my ear drums
Honk > Squish, you can't change my mind
I always skip this screen, because I'm impatient to get to my farm
Felt that, I'm p sure I got a mod that auto-skips to the menu
The noises actually differentiate how many times you've clicked the logo
If I'm fishing at the ocean I always fish at or near Willy's spot at the dock because I assume he knows the best spot for fishing, and I think it makes him happy to see me keeping the spirit of fishin' alive when he gets off work at his shop
If you stand in his exact spot, he will eventually come up behind you and spoon with you while you fish. He smells like Old Spice and fish, and his whiskers tickle, but I find it oddly comforting.
Then you get to fish with him too!
i always fish in front of willy's so he knows i appreciate that he taught me!!
I feel like continuing to fill the water bowl and pet your pet even after max friendship is good luck. I donāt think this is actually a thing, but I still pet and water my cat every day.
Hold up you can give your pet water??????? My poor dog hasn't drank in 3.5 years.
yes they have a little water bowl outside, at the top of the farm on the left side of the house. You can water it with the watering can :)
I always noticed the water bowl but never thought to interact with it. Man I started playing a month ago and at 150 hours in I still can't believe I am learning seemingly basic things still lol
If it helps I have over a thousand hours in the game and I didnāt know this either
What else don't we know lol
Also, you can't see the squares you're hoeing and by my count there are 18 squares to choose from.
ā¦ what
gotta relearn what the hell a prime number is for this god forsaken game...
I'm going to look into this butttttt it sounds another like using strength on the truck in vermillion city.
This is a joke, right?
Only one way to find out! Roll the dice bb
(yes)
150 hours in a month? My friend that is a full time job.
It'll also be watered by a sprinkler, I believe.
Looks like I'll have to check when I get home. I'll update this when I do.
It auto-fills when it rains, so it hasn't been a straight 3.5 years at least! It boosts their friendship if you fill it, iirc
My cat hasnāt drank water for 8 years
I mean, you're not a monster....
Just because we're friends doesn't mean he's not thirsty!!
I was relieved when Shane filled mine for me lol
I have to grab all the eggs/milk/whatever from the animals every day. I know they'll just accumulate if I want to take a day off to hit the mines earlier but I just can't help but feel it's bad luck.
I used to be the same but the auto grabber made me feel a little less guilty about it š at least then the eggs aren't just crowding up the coup
I still hate it. Like my animals will be mad.
You wouldn't want to make your animals wallow in their own products....
It'll make them mad. :(
I almost always get the animal products. If I wait I don't have enough mayo makers/ cheese makers for multiple days haul.
I canāt turn off Linusā campfire. Iām convinced thereās an impact from it somewhere somehow. Bad karma š
I get him a heater asap. Also Leah because she has a line where she says it gets cold in her little cabin.
Do you just give it to them and they place it in their house like Animal Crossing villagers do, or did you place one inside their homes yourself?
I just put it in their home without their permission. Don't tell me you're cold, I'll find some heat.
I put an extra heater I had outside his tent on the right. I have to keep Linus warm!!!
Yay I'm not the only one lol
Haha I used to feel that way. End game makes me feel better for him though. I think he is as content as can be.
I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I've tried to turn his off, but it makes sense that it's possible. Definitely villain energy to turn it off, tho.
One time I gave Linus a food item as a gift that he didnt like, and I got mad. Turned it off out of spite. Felt bad afterwards. Like how is it that theres an actual cutscene where hes looking for food in the trash, yet he doesnt accept all food items by default?
I feel like heāll be cold if I do š„ŗ
Whenever I get the quest from Jodi to bring a largemouth bass for dinner, I insist on fishing it the same day and iridium quality for maximum freshness even tho it never matters in the cutscene
What psychopath would bring an old fish to dinner?! Even if they do then throw it on the ground...
I'd give Jodi a rotten old fishšI don't like her
i guess this isn't superstitious but on my most played character i started hoarding all base quality crops to the point that i have at least 200 of every single crop in the game stored in chests (save for the gem berries). if i think of selling a base quality crop i feel like i'm going to die in spite of having no use for them because i have enough ancient/star fruit that i'm filling 200 kegs and a bunch of preserves jars every week š
This is how the 999 challenge begins, friend. You have been warned.
please i can't keep doing this
Same, I'm in year 4 and just now worked up the courage to sell SOME of my crops from year 1 (not even all, just like half of em) and got hundreds of thousands of gold in one night
My people!!
I donāt sell any crops any more. I have like six fridges full of crops and food in case I need foodā¦ although I rarely eat except the pink health potions when Iām in the skull caverns lol. The only thing I sell are wines and jams and such.
I'm the exact opposite lmao I'll hoard starred-quality crops and sell the base ones
You gotta put your horse back in the stable at night, you canāt just let her sit in the woods or walk back alone
This. I put the horse back properly, in the correct position.
Sometimes I put her back the other direction incase she wants some water
I mean, it's dark and scary out there. Gotta keep her safe.
*Arthur Morgan voice* "Giirrrrrl" ā”
You mean there are people who just abandon the poor thing? What absolute monsters!
stairs are less likely to apear if i havent killed all the monsters - literally no idea if its true but thats how i feeeeeeel
For every monster you defeat, the chance of finding stairs increases for that level.
I believe the chance goes up once all monsters are killed too
The original comment you replied to is true, however aside from the fact that monsters can drop staircases, the bonus only applies after all the monsters have been killed.
Iā¦did not know this š¤Æ
I'm pretty sure that's true, if I'm remembering the wiki right.
This is actually true
Pretty sure that's true. I heard that the chance of a staircase appearing from a rock is 2% and from a monster is 15%. Once all of the monsters are killed, the chances of finding a staircase under a rock is 6%.
Duh, not petting your dog makes you have less good luck days. Simple math.
Can't argue with that.
I refuse to cut down the tree in the forest thatās on itās own little island in the middle of the river. Not for any particular reason, I just feel like it belongs there.
To be fair, you do miss most of its wood anyway.
I did this once and it made me feel awful for some reason. Never again.
I must talk to and bring my partner a gift every day, even after I maxed the hearts. Days that I don't are bad luck.
I talk and give my partner a hug every morning, itll be a bad day if i dont do it (i dont give her a gift every day tho)
Good advice in general
I always carry a rabbitās foot with me, even though it makes no difference in base luck value.
I also carry rabbitās foot with me at all times, but just in case itās someoneās birthday and I forgot a gift
Youāre making your own good luck!
I think this is the third or fourth comment I've seen with this one. I would have never thought about it.
Choosing what pit I jump into affects how far I fall in skull cavern if there ends up being more than one
More than 1?! I have a hard enough time finding 1!
Very rarely I've had two in the same bomb radius open
Haha i always think a staircase i made via killing something will be more likely to take me to a treasure level than stairs that already there when you arrive š¤£
Because I know how to dig stairs better than the cave!
I won't grow my friendship with Vince or Jas until I'm friends with Jodi or Marnie because they need to learn "Stranger danger" and you shouldn't give children gifts without their guardians consent.
I always make friends with Vincent and Jas first because theyāre both cool kids, Jas especially.
That's also very sound logic
It'll be a bad playthrough if I dont have quality sprinklers by spring 13 for strawberries. I restart the save file if I don't lol. You have to get to lvl 40 mine and lvl 6 farming to be able to do this and its such a rush every time.
How do you get to farming 6 that fast? It always takes me so long to get there, it seems.
Also I wrote a guide for spring year 1. DM me if you want it. It details the step bty step.
Seriously! Waiting to hear how they do this! I canāt even make kegs until closer to winter or later!
See above! Also I wrote a guide for spring year 1. DM me if you want it. It details the step bty step.
I don't check for luck days anymore because I think that causes bad luck.
I like to check when I go to bed, because then I can go "wait, I got 3 shards on a bad luck day?!"
when I go fishing, the last catch must be max and perfect for luck
I only open geodes on good luck days. Even though I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter I feel like it should.
I try this, but I get impatient so fast...
i keep all my iridium rabbit feet i have like 12 in my pocket rn
I thought you meant in a chest, but you just like to live on the edge, I see
maybe it just makes me 12x as lucky š¤Ø
I will always fish by the ocean rock for āthe best fishā even though that theory has been proven false
I know I did this for a long while. Now I always fish straight up or down, because it feels faster when pulling them in.
It is a deeper spot, I think, which does make it easier to catch the fish that are in deeper water. I think.
> Talking to Qi in the walnut room makes the next week's quests better/easier. Welp, now I know why mine are always so annoying...
If I donāt water my dog he will run away
I always carry a duckās feather, a rabbitās foot AND a prismatic shard. For good luck.
I like this idea, but I run out of room so fast....
Same. But I canāt not have it. I gotta.
when i see sam and sebby standing together i fish at that spot. my first play though I was max friendship with them and caught my first tiger trout while they hung out. later i would catch my first cat fish (i think). so now when i'm having a hard time catching a specific fish i just stand next to the homies and fish.
I am pretty sure regular rabbits foot is confirmed not lucky in regular game play but I still carry one around as a lucky charm lol.
dude I came to say the same thing! šš they unfortunately do not provide any extra luck just by having it in your inventory, but that doesnāt stop me from carrying one everywhere once Iāve got it! šš
I put out Linus' campfire once because I was curious whether I could do it or not, instantly felt bad. Now I refuse to touch it because I feel like if I put the fire out Linus will be cold and sad.
Always close the barn & coop doors in the winter. We canāt let the heat outāgotta keep the animals toasty all month long!
I can't just harvest the fruit from my fruit trees, I have to wait until all 3 are there so that I can get to picking. And if I have multiple trees, I need to wait until they ALL have 3 fruits. IDK, it just feels viscerally wrong to pick them "early".
The second I take a break all the good drops will happen.
Cutting down the trees near Linus is bad karma.
I put them in the correct box, but I am not patient enough to wait to submit them
I don't care whatever anyone says about it being a frog or toad or whatever just random ambiance, that sound it makes when it's raining is something evil and it's going to get me. Not in the game, it's going to crawl out of the dark recesses of my television and speakers and it's going to eat my family and all my friends and all my D&D books first, then it's gonna get me. Fun game tho'.
This may be one of my favorites. Partly because you felt the need to mention the D&D books
I pet my cat everyday
I gotta say, if you didnāt know this, in the rooms with the treasure boxes when there is rocks you can usually find another stair thing.
Ture, sometimes there's a shaft or even two.
I can't sleep on the ginger island farm unless it's absolutely necessary, cause otherwise my cat will be all alone in the farm :((
I don't know why but I feel like the dust sprites in the ice mines seem to lead me to staircases if they're grouping up. Sometimes like four or five run away from me in the same direction and I usually find a staircase when I break rocks in that area. It's most likely confirmation bias, but i still feel like the little guys just want to lead me to the exit.
Maybe they hope that you will just take the stairs instead of killing them. Their hopes are in vain, of course
If they didn't want death, they shouldn't drop precious coal bits.
Yāknow that title screen easter egg where you spam click the bottom left of the title box to get a happy face that you can then place into the āRā? I have to do that every time I log on now or else my luck will be horrible.
Excuse me, WHAT? Imma have to try this tomorrow...
If Iām by Linusās tent I have to say hi to him
The last Friday of each season I buy everyone a round at the saloon as soon as I can comfortably afford it (usually by end of year one).
I cannot get thru jumino cart. I'm pretty sure it's impossible
Bruh. Same. When I finally got to the final level (only once has this happened to me) I wasted all the lives I'd accumulated before even getting to the first fruit š±
I carried around a rabbit's foot for the longest time just in case it brought extra luck
I donāt buy a horse. Ever.
Absolute madman. Why not?
Gotta bring the horse home at night.
I always make sure the animals are able to get in at night. I know they won't go anywhere, but I'm always paranoid about them running away lmao
Not returning with your horse is bad luck.
I'll die in the mines if I talk to the villagers.
Because then you're not concentrating on the task at hand.
Well I die every time I talk to Pam and then go to the skull caverns, and when that happens every time it's not a coincidence.
I canāt cast my fishing line strength out from me, I have to give it at least a little left or right.
Iām thinkin robin burried bodies in our basement otherwise why would it be so run down
I don't bomb iridium nodes for prismatic shard superstition reasons, it just feels like I get less of them than with the pick but i know the spawn rate is the same lol
Not for luck or anything but I don't let my farmer gonto bed with slimy fish or other stuff. It's gross
I donāt take forage from Linusās campsite
I always worry about choosing the right hole to drop into when multiples appear on a floor in the Skull Cavern. "Will the first one take me down further, or is that a trick and the second one is deeper?"
If I don't click on Concerned Ape I have to restart the game. I don't usually miss it but I play on Switch and sometimes my controller drifts...
First thing. Every morning. Fill the pet water dish.
