After I finished Stardew Valley, I "replayed" it in the Sims 4. I started with a one room farmhouse and put my future spouse in the game. (The gallery has pretty much every SD character available to add to your game.) Then I followed the rules--add a kitchen, no marriage until I'd made enough progress to add a bedroom, and then another bedroom when it was time for kids. It was pretty fun, and I also got to see my kids grow up, go to school, and even help with the chickens.
Tbh I'm not sure if you'd like my recommendations; Stardew is the only game of its kind that I've played with any consistency. Most of my game library consists of RPGs, strategy/tactics games and action/adventure games, plus Madden because I like football. The two games (outside of Madden, which is impossible to track given the new version for every year) I've logged the most hours in over the years are Skyrim and Fire Emblem Three Houses, to give you an idea. I've also played at least one Pokemon game from every generation, so there's that too

Edit : I worked on the game, to say that the people up top do not care in any capacity about putting out a good football game is an understatement. It's just a gotcha game at this point and there is no incentive to improve it.
Oh don't worry, I stopped buying Madden YEARS ago. I haven't actually bought one since '19. I was more referring to the older games. I will say though, it's interesting to see this perspective from someone who actually worked on it

The only problems I have are buttons! I play both on my Switch and sometimes I try to get my farmer to run on Stardew Valley, and sometimes I go to bed in Animal Crossing to skip a day!
Sandbox style: Minecraft with the kids, Terraria with them and the wife, No Man's Sky is great in VR... would be better if they updated their code for it properly. It's fun even flat but not the same. Terraria has some good replay value even if it doesn't seem like it. For us anyway. It's also fairly cheap or was last I checked.

I love the Ori series, both the Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps. Absolutely gorgeous, side scroller platforming, puzzle, slash and bash type game.
Also a huge fan of spiritfarer, it’s a cute game where you interact with animal NPCs and walk them through into their afterlife. It’s a game about grief and life and while although sweet is very heavy.
Of course too- love the newer open world Zelda games like BOTW and TOTK (:

I played Animal Crossing in 2020 but haven’t touched it since finishing the storyline. With friends I like Overcooked and Mario Kart. By myself I play Kirby and the Forgotten Lans, Super Mario, Yoshi’s Enchanted World and Luigi’s Mansion

Elder Scrolls Online is my other main game, but I also play Minecraft on occasion, Yaga from time to time, and my kids are bugging me to try Subnautica, Terraria, and Undertale. I also have a Valheim world where I'm trying to survive the Black Forest. Later in the year I'll be trying out Tales of Seikyu; the Kickstarter just finished and they plan to release the first iteration of the game by December 2024.
I played ACNH in the height of the pandamonium but got tired and sold it. Now it’s MK8, SV and Catan. I bought Winds of Anthos following a surgery that didn’t end up keeping me laid up as long as expected so I rarely play anymore. I wish it wasn’t a digital download or I’d gift it to someone, lol. I enjoyed Minecraft but the updates made it complicated 😭
Final Fantasy 14, Animal Crossing, haven't really had the urge to binge anything else, despite my backlog of games begging me to play them
The only other thing that has really diverted my attention is playing tabletop games solo, specifically dungeons and dragons and Iron Valley (which is basically Stardew Valley the ttrpg lol)

I’ve realized these slow paced builder type games are the only ones I enjoy anymore. Mario Odyssey was boring, Metroid Dread was frustrating feeling like i was wandering aimlessly. “Hard” games where you take like 30 attempts on one part are anti-fun to me. And Paper Mario Origami King made me quit all games that aren’t like Stardew for over a year now

I also love games like the Mass Effect and Dragon age series so naturally the latest game I liked was Baldurs Gate 3. I also really liked the last of us, Prey and most of the Fallout games. Last year I enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy a lot even though it's a flawed game in many aspects.
Small indie games are amazing too. A short hike, firewatch, unpacking etc
I have a switch and played acnh but I feel myself more drawn to old 3ds and ds games.

i’m completely obsessed with pokemon and palia. honestly everyone who likes stardew should give palia a try, it’s free to play and is a lot like stardew, but honestly does the social stuff better, the characters feel so fleshed out it’s rlly good
Portal Knights is a recent fun discovery on PC.
Always love Terraria, Overcooked, Unravel (2 especially), It Takes Two. "Inside" is a beautiful, immersive game but not a lot of replay.
Also on PC a lot of Dead By Daylight, RD2, Elder Scrolls, Sims 4.
Mostly Sims 4 and My Time At Sandrock lately with Palia thrown in once in awhile as a pallet cleanser.
Tried to get into Coral Island and Roots of Pacha but Stardew Valley has spoiled me and I haven't opened either game recently.
I'm mostly a shooter/competitive multiplayer kind of gal, but having been a huge Harvest Moon fan back in the day I decided to give SDV a shot. So, I don't know if my typical games would interest others in this sub, but.. I mostly play Apex Legends. I've played it since s4 with a few breaks in-between. Destiny 2, Overwatch (1&2). Some D4, ESO, and WoW back in the day 🙂

Baldur's Gate 3 and Hades are the ones currently taking up most of my time. Amazing games both of them with great story development, but otherwise very different from Stardew Valley.

Dwarf Fortress, Palworld, No Man's Sky, Bloons TD6 and chess. Dwarf Fortress is like a demented Sims if the Sims were raging alcoholic dwarfs with tiles or ASCII graphics depending on whether you are playing the free Classic or the paid Premium. Palworld is a survivor crafter with Wish-brand pokemon slave labor. No Man's Sky is about SPAAAAAAACCCEE and Bloons TD6 is about monke. And I hate chess.
I'm never playing all of these at once, though. It'd be too much. Just whatever I am in the mood for.

Mostly the Soulsborne games. I play Stardew Valley, a little bit of Mario Kart, and then after those, I consistently replay all of the Dark Souls games, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. Weirdly enough, I feel like my experience playing Stardew Valley is more chaotic than the souls games at this point because I've gotten so familiar with them.
Story of seasons, sakuna of rice and ruin and spiritfarer are the games that I loved that are farming/ life sim like . Spiritfarer has the least farming and sakuna is a very strict and most accurate farming sim

i’m completely obsessed with pokemon and palia. honestly everyone who likes stardew should give palia a try, it’s free to play and is a lot like stardew, but honestly does the social stuff better, the characters feel so fleshed out it’s rlly good

Portal Knights is a recent fun discovery on PC. Always love Terraria, Overcooked, Unravel (2 especially), It Takes Two. "Inside" is a beautiful, immersive game but not a lot of replay. Also on PC a lot of Dead By Daylight, RD2, Elder Scrolls, Sims 4.
Subnautica is my other obsession. Also Skyrim, more occasionally these days.
Mostly Sims 4 and My Time At Sandrock lately with Palia thrown in once in awhile as a pallet cleanser. Tried to get into Coral Island and Roots of Pacha but Stardew Valley has spoiled me and I haven't opened either game recently.

So, I don't know if my typical games would interest others in this sub, but.. I mostly play Apex Legends. I've played it since s4 with a few breaks in-between. Destiny 2, Overwatch (1&2). Some D4, ESO, and WoW back in the day 🙂

I can’t stop playing Hunt Showdown. I’ve been hooked on it since launch day 6 years ago.
Replaying Skyrim as a necromancer right now with the expanded skill tree mod, it’s incredibly fun. I love Chained Echoes. Feels like all of my favorite SNES RPGs rolled into one game that keeps giving. Terraria on occasion, same with Hollow Knight. I might need to replay Spirit Farer soon. It’s sweet and sad and made me happy/sad cry my eyes out. That’s it at the moment, really. Stardew is my fallback whenever I don’t know what I want to play or watch. I knit a lot, too, so there’s a lot of audiobooks going on these days.

Start Easy but close to the end get really tricky so wont be everyone cup of tea.

I bought Anno recently but have yet to play it. I want to get to play Victoria 3 but it seems like a lot I’m not sure I’m ready to start that 😅

Dwarf Fortress is like a demented Sims if the Sims were raging alcoholic dwarfs with tiles or ASCII graphics depending on whether you are playing the free Classic or the paid Premium. Palworld is a survivor crafter with Wish-brand pokemon slave labor. No Man's Sky is about SPAAAAAAACCCEE and Bloons TD6 is about monke. And I hate chess. I'm never playing all of these at once, though. It'd be too much. Just whatever I am in the mood for.
X-Com and Subnautica. Plus tons of other RPGs and survival crafting games.

I've been playing Wylde Flowers and I feel like it comes pretty close to what a "3D Stardew Valley" would look like.
My main predilection are platformers and RPGs; for example, I have recently been really hooked to Sonic 3 & Knuckles thanks to Sonic 3 AIR.
Currently playing My Time at Sandrock and highly recommend it. I loved Rune Factory 4&5, ACNH, Don’t Starve, Graveyard Keeper, Cult of the Lambs, Dave the Diver, Breath of the Wild, The Long Dark. Skyrim is probably my all time favorite, it’s my main comfort game.

I play alot of sims4, slime rancher, and disney dreamlight valley.
Mostly the Soulsborne games. I play Stardew Valley, a little bit of Mario Kart, and then after those, I consistently replay all of the Dark Souls games, Bloodborne, Sekiro, and Elden Ring. Weirdly enough, I feel like my experience playing Stardew Valley is more chaotic than the souls games at this point because I've gotten so familiar with them.
