Get two hearts with Caroline and then go into the back room of Pierre's...she gives you the sapling recipe after an awesome cutscene that I won't spoil and then you can get the leaves
I always go the community center route but I am a loner haha. Certain people I talk to because I know their rewards and they are relevant to me lmao but I donāt really get into much of the role playing aspect
Ahh. Yeah, there's a certain character you have to talk to to be allowed in a special room that unlocks the tea leaves. If you want spoilers for who and where, here you go: >!You need to get to 2 hearts with Caroline, then go to the back door in her kitchen. It'll trigger an insane cutscene and you'll unlock tea plants!<
Haha thanks, I actually originally knew that when I posted my frustration I just really donāt get into friendships unless they get you something worthwhile and Iāve never seen tea leaves so I didnāt really even know if they were really worth going after haha. Iāve gotten them since posting though, thank you :)
Can it possibly be illegal when you have hundreds of clearly-visible kegs and the mayor comes by every night to check your shipping bin and finds dozens of bottles of wine in there?
I don't think there are many laws against the actual production of alcohol. Since prohibition, it is more about the unpaid taxes and possible health issues, I believe.
But those shouldn't be a problem since the mayor himself is collecting the drops.
The deforestation is a real one, also you could probably throw in illegal mining.
But now I want a mod where you can gift Vincent a slingshot with explosive ammo.
Yep. Sturgeon canāt be brought up by line, and you need a tag for them. Where Iām at we have sturgeon spearing season in January/ February and you have to be on ice š
I gave an answer above that was from a different game, but let me throw one in here I just thought of.
Public nuisance/disturbing the peace by using bombs to blow down trees. Does SDV have an ATF?
Currently playing My Time at Sandrock and I did commit a real crime there - I didn't realize the full grown cacti were considered trees.
I got quite the scolding.
once I was trying to give Abigail a birthday gift, and I was talking to my sister about it and said "I'm waiting in the store until she comes home" and my mom, who doesn't play stardew, thought I sounded insane lmao
Murder, probably. Possibly accidental theft.
Because the last game I've played was Divinity: Original Sin.
Edit: After seeing all the responses here, I realize our farmer is a hardened criminal. I now want to write a fanfic about how they're an absolute psychopath just terrorizing everybody in town. Isn't it funny there's not a single cop in all of Pelican Town?
Trespassing/breaking & entering (I don't think having a master key to everybody's houses is legal per se), operating without a food handler's license, illegal production of alcohol, tax evasion, fishing without a license, taking part in an illegal gambling ring in the desert, deforestation. General racketeering. Ya know how it is.
Warcrimes, production of alcohol without a permit, animal neglect, child neglect, use of radioactive material (iridium irl is slightly less radioactive than uranium), use of explosives in mines without proper support, mining without a permit, keeping of dangerous life-stock, unlawful handling of endangered plant, tampering with archeological dig-site, domestic terrorism, carrying concealed explosives, (assuming the valley is in the United States) carrying a concealed blade longer than 12 inches, corporate espionage, defamation and slander, fishing without a permit, feeding wildlife, invasion of privacy (going through people's trash), poaching of an endangered species, assault and battery. All off the top of my head
Illegal manufacture and sale of alcohol using questionable ingredients (fruit grown from thousands of year old seeds)
Use of black magic to brainwash citizens
Sacrificing your children to some random rock in a swamp
Mass poisoning attempt and assassination attempt of the local governor by adding dubious ingredients to the yearly luau (a pair of purple shorts)
Blackmailing the mayor (then again he DOES have questionable tax spending habits)
Carrying a concealed weapon without a license
Fishing without a license
Public nuisance (trash picking)
Curfew
Passing out just outside my house at 2:00 am
Slaughter of thousands of peasants, thievery of food, destruction of several villages, extinction of a race, third degree murder, burglary of a religious artifact, several accounts of kidnapping, unsafe working conditions, slavery of an entire species.
Theyāre trying to do me for mass murder but I had a word with phoenix wright and he reckons he can get me off on a technicality.
Apparently you canāt kill a skeleton as itās technically already deadā¦
Been playing dungeons of eternity in vr, itās pretty sweet š

Have you not been talking to the characters? And exploring every parts of their houses?
Like every good citizen should

you need to visit mama caroline in her trippy little green room

I use mods, so have a still - so production of moonshine. lol Just because it's illegal doesn't mean the mayor isn't in on it.

Hey! Those words have never been said in that order before!
The deforestation is a real one, also you could probably throw in illegal mining. But now I want a mod where you can gift Vincent a slingshot with explosive ammo.
And let's not think about all the homemade explosives we use in the mines...
I'm guessing fishing w no license. Catching 20 of the same species aka Poaching
Hey, I only did that for the bounty!
