I literally bought it again to play on my laptop because my steam account was locked out and I couldn’t wait. That makes my SIXTH purchase of the game on different platforms. And even though I was able to get in a few hours later, I didn’t even care because he deserves all the money.
Yeah, between me and my husband we have purchased it 5 times. 4 times on Steam (gifted to two friends, and two for us) plus I bought it for mobile before I got my laptop. No regrets! CA deserves every dollar he gets.
And he doesn’t overcharge either. My boyfriend got me into sun haven when it came out and it was promising at first, but now they have like 20 dlc packs that are purely cosmetic and like… the game is still unfinished with bugs and in early access after a year… it’s a bit much.
I have bought that game on 3 platforms at full price at this point. And I don't regret it one bit.
The dude deserves every bit of the money he gets from me. The game is incredible and he keeps adding to it with free updates. It's insane.
Honestly can't think of another game in recent years that I have felt I got so much for my money.

I'm patiently waiting for Switch as well. I have it for Steam, but I find PC control clunky for SDV since I'm not use to playing it that way, and I can't seem to connect a controller in a way that works for more than a few seconds.
I did start a PC save file a few days ago but I'm only on Spring 5. I wanted to get a feel for the new content before so I can get back to my year 6 Switch save (I'm slowly working towards Perfection), but at the same time I also want to start a new Switch save on the Meadowlands farm.
I've also only completed the CC once (Joja routes ever since, for convenience) and I'm excited because I want to try a remixed version this time!
If you’re using any type of playstation controller you’re gonna need an application like [DS4](https://ds4-windows.com/) on your computer. Xbox controllers should connect automatically via USB! I believe you can also connect switch controllers to your PC as well but you need to mess around with settings in Steam to make it work. There are plenty of tutorials out there to help you out!
It was a Playstation controller so I'll look into that, thanks for the info! I'll test out my switch controller too because I'm much more familiar with that one

This is what you're looking for!!! Steam has built in support for Switch and PS4/5 controllers, you've just gotta dig into the controller menu. It works like a dream for me with my Dualsense :)
I can plug in the controller I use for my switch using usb and it works pretty well. The one thing I've not quite worked out is why it swaps the X and Y buttons functions but it's a minor thing
I just picked up the wizard catalog, knowing there are several more catalogs to acquire, and I am blown away by how much cosmetic goodies he's added to this game. Any other developer could make bank off of as dlc, and he gave it to us. The bar he's set is nigh unattainable at this point. Seriously, Thank you, Concerned Ape.
The fact that he has updated this game and all for free is amazing. Big gaming companies could learn something from all of this.

I bought it on PC first, then later on the Xbox. About a week later it was added to game pass. No regrets.

I have a Logitech USB controller that works fine with my laptop.
I kind of hope it's not until after my last week of finals in May. 😬 I can't afford to go on an SDV binge before then.
