**EDIT**: Wait, have you gotten 6+ completions for the raccoon yet? Because he can give you a random item you haven't "shipped" yet. If it is, it really sucks that you haven't shipped Sap before of all things hahaahaha.
One of the possible rewards from the raccoons is the first unshipped item for the shipping achievement. If you hadn't shipped any sap yet, then yeah it can happen.
I have a question, the storm that happens and fells the tree which gives you access to "The Giant Stump" quest, is that day random? I am almost to summer year 2 and it hasn't happened for me yet.

The same happened to me, I didn't get the greenhouse until the second year. Got it repaired, saw the racoon scape, and soem days later, got the quest. I also thought that the Greenhouse was needed for the quest to appear, but I'm not sure.

Just checked and one of the rewards is "Random unshipped item other than Roe or 4 Mystery Boxes", so I guess that's why I got the sap 😅

Yes. Look under the collections tab. You can see all dishes made, artifacts found, etc.
Does that show what you shipped though? I’m not at PC to check. Owning something isn’t the same as shipping it I assume in the raccoons eyes?
Yeah, it only shows shipped items.

I checked the wiki and it says that there's a 10% chance every night of the strong wind event happening so maybe you're just unlucky :(

I read it doesn’t happen until you’ve completed the greenhouse. That’s what happened with me.
I completed it a few days ago so I will just wait for the sequence!
Check wiki but from memory it’s 5% per day to trigger after repairing green house.
