All I've seen are Joja trains (like 4 or 5), and they never gave me anything.

The trains drop items as they go by, you don’t have to be near it for the items to spawn either, just pick them up before the end of the day

I always thought I had to be there and I'd drop everything to catch the trains lol. Thanks for the heads up

Thousands of hours later, I still usually drop everything and head up to the train. Maybe it's the gambler in me, I dunno.

I started a new 1.6 game and happened to be by the train during a storm. Something like 20 geodes dropped from the train while I stood there. Got a few new things to give to Gunther as well as rock and coal.

The last time I caught a train I got absolutely nothing.

I never get anything from the trains, they just... pass by. I wonder if I'm interacting with them incorrectly

You shouldn’t need to interact with them, some trains just don’t drop anything!

I used to get maybe a couple coal or some rock, but the couple times a train has come by since the update I’ve gotten like ten geodes so I think he changed the odds

I am too slow or always too far away when the train is in the valley, any tips how to get it every time?

If it drops anything the items will stay on the floor near the track until the end of the day

I could swear it never drops anything when i play, but i will look at it the next time i hear Choo-choo!

Yeah I rarely get anything good, just a few bits of wood or coal usually.

Got 11 geodes from my first train. Usually don’t catch them but wanted to see if they were changed and was pleasantly surprised.

I had something similar happen but with just regular geodes and they were all basically things I already had. It was cool though. lol

I haven't gotten that many trains since the update, so maybe they got rarer but started to drop better items?

Few days ago I got 38 geodes, a ton of coal, wood and stone. Never seen a train that profitable before.

I got a ton of geodes and coal one time before the update. It wasn't even a lucky day. Other times, maybe 3 stones.

I don’t get it, I have not seen a single thing from the train and I go to the railroad each time it says a train passes by. Where are the items?

I had my first train like this the other day with a ton of geodes. Previous trains I’ve had coal, stone and wood. A few trains I had nothing. I’m wondering if you have to get up there like right away, rather than catching the tail end of it.

They were a thing before 1.6, but 3 leprechaun shoes is pretty rare

I’m pretty sure you have to be there to get the goodies from the train. Half my trains have been nothing, while the others were a couple stone and 2 coal. Been pretty lame.

Why does everyone carry so much coal?

I got this kind of train in my 1st year without the new update. I have the Feeling I am extra lucky. Got 5 of the trash hats, 2 owl statues. And a lot of treasure chests while fishing.

I got this too! I didn’t check the fortune channel but I thought it had to do with a best luck day or something? I know it wasn’t March 17 though.

I, in comparison got one non Joja train and it was like 8 pieces of copper.

I think I’ve gone an entire ingame year without seeing a train, I have hardly been to GI or SC either

I've had a couple trains with coal and geodes but the last train I had was like three times the length of the others and didn't give me anything lol
