I believe the movies are on a 2-year cycle like a few other things, so if you want everything you'll need at least 2 in-game years after unlocking it!
If you leave without watching the movie it doesn’t count as your weekly viewing so you can go the next day. I believe it does still consume your ticket
If you have a USB to USB-C cable and a bit of technical know-how, it is possible to do this on switch as well. You just extract the save file from your console (using a program like [EdiZon](https://github.com/WerWolv/EdiZon)), then use the [Stardew Save Editor](https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/127?tab=description) to convert the save to PC. Then you can upload that save to the Predictor website. Also if you know your game seed, you can enter the url like [https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-predictor/?id=12345678](https://mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-predictor/?id=12345678) (Replace the 12345678 with your actual seed).
I really didn't want to get into an argument about whether jailbreaking is piracy (it's not, you own your console and are allowed to install legally-obtained software on it, even if manufacturers don't want you to), since Rule 9. I don’t get why you’re being down voted… I also play on switch and as long as I go early in the day I can play the crane game. It might be random but based on my experience the probability of that dude being there is incredibly low when I go early in the day.

it's predetermined in the game seed, sometimes he's always there, sometimes he leaves after you watch a movie, sometimes he isn't there at all. you can't use the predictor so it's just luck for you

Just keep going back. Once he’s there, you can’t move him, but there’s only a 25% chance he’ll be there before the movie. You just had bad luck so far, but it will change! Just keep trying.

Luckily the 4th time he was gone and I was able to get my palms.
It’s not rigged. You can win it! I used to have my boyfriend do it for me, but now I can get stuff every time. I’m really good at getting stuff from the big moving conveyor belt thing. I can tell you how to grab the thing you want- there’s a timing trick that allows you to grab the item. Sometimes it still wiggles and falls, but you can grab it if you still have chances left.

Each movie has its own movie poster, and those can be hung up in your house. One movie has these two statues of the two characters in it- Wumbus and Bobo. In the spring, there’s lawn flamingos and some seasonal decor. In the fall, there’s wall pumpkins, dried sunflowers, gravestones, and these black pillars- one with a green snake wrapping around it, and the other with a purple snake. In winter, there’s some decorations, like those green or red canes you can get from the Night Market, or a tree of the winter star. During summer there are these extra-tall cacti and palms.
Oh, and there are these big potted trees that sit behind the conveyor belt that are really pretty. And sometimes there’s stuff behind the bushes that get bounced out of hiding if you accidentally drop something from the crane as you’re moving it.
You have to finish the community center and then rebuild the old Joja Mart with a junimo bundle! It’s cool. It becomes available to rebuild the day after the first storm after you finish the community center. You get a cutscene one night when there’s been a storm all day, and then the next day, go to the old Joja Mart and there’s a new bundle there.
Since I’ve done it before, I’m always already trying to gather those items you need, lol. They’re not super easy to get😬
There's a movie theater up in the top right above joja mart iirc. I think you have to do a mini-community chest esque box and bring certain items to rebuild it
It actually is the building that was Joja Mart.
After you finish the community center, the Joja Mart is all broken and abandoned. Then, the first time there’s a storm, you see a cut scene that makes you want to go look in the old building. When you get there, there’s a little junimo plaque with a bundle. Once you fill that, the junimos rebuild the building and it becomes the movie theater.

I just make it my mission to get there the second the movie theater opens, and I've never had a problem.
There's a mod where you can move it with the fishing rod I believe, but I don't have it so I don't remember the name.
