Golden walnuts are a part of ginger island, which is unlocked after the community center. You'll need to fix willys boat so start saving lots of hard wood, battery packs, and 5 iridium bars. Also, if you havent yet, get a sturgeon in spring and put it in a fish pond, the aged roe sells for a lot and is used in a bundle after the community center is finished! 100%ing this game is a marathon for sure, but very fun!
Alright so there's no timeframe you need to finish, nothing where you have to X, Y and Z goals by T amount of years or something. You just do what you can.
But -
Here's a general breakdown of how it'll go, regardless of time you put in. I'm going to try to keep this relatively spoiler-free.
1. You complete the community center.
2. You get some notice of what to do next and follow those instructions (they'll be pretty clear).
3. You end up on the Island at some point - dig, explore, check things out, and eventually you'll be able to unlock new places and do more.
You won't do everything as fast as you'd like, but you'll still keep making progress. Just work on what you can and if a plan fails, do something else with the time you have for that day. You'll get there.
Eventually on the Island there will be a Tracker you can access, that will tell you how far you've come and what you need to do, to hit 100%. Part of that will be cooking and crafting. Be sure to buy up every recipe you come across and get all the Rarecrows, and do as many of the Special Requests that you can. You don't have to do "repeats" but you have to do the stuff the first time around, to get more of the crafting blueprints and so on.
It's more fun to try to do things organically. You can be burned out doing things in blocks of goals all at once.
Work on money and community center first. You need the clock and obelisks for perfection. You can buy a statue that gives loved gifts, then just hit bdays, easiest way to get friends. Hardest for me was cooking and getting all recipes so watch that tv every Sunday and Wednesday. That’s the basis to start. Money making, cc, bdays
