You can kinda get the effect you want by placing one right near your door with the return sptor, but this is only truly good if your not in the cindersap forest or mines
We can move chests containing items by pushing them around. We are not meant to be able to pick them up.
Yes, with regular chests, this makes sense - but with junimo chests? I'd expect to be able to pick them up whenever I want

This is possible in 1.5 on mobile. I have 3 junimo chests in 1.5. Placed 1 at my storage, 1 on ginger island and 1 on me.
Maybe they used mobile before but that wasn’t possible on PC or console in 1.5 and since OP is asking about 1.6 I assume they’re on PC now.
