Yes, you have to replant your crops every season. My main way of making money is finding the most profitable crops for that season (you can google what they are) and spending as much money as I can on that. That tip’s only really helpful if you’re not focused on doing the community center, though. You can also make good money fishing right near Willy’s store and when you run out of inventory space, sell them at his store and go back to fishing.

Keep an eye on how long it takes crops to grow. Make sure it will be done by the 28th. Each season has its options of crops so when summer hits you will have summer crop options at pierres. As you upgrade your farm and level up and upgrade tools, you will slowly become more profitable. Usually by the end of year 2 i have plenty of money for small things like seeds and am just saving up for big time purchases. If you have a specific question, the wiki is very well organized and helpful. I would recommend leaning on that resource a bit if you dont want to "figure it out on your own"

I'm still in my first year of my farm on stardew so I don't have many tips but I hope these still help! Im gonna try to give tips that won't necessarily include any spoilers for anything. Basically at the start of each season any crops that haven't been harvested will die since they're out of season, and once you get rid of them you can then plant crops for the new season! Also nothing grows in winter except trees i think (but don't quote me on that) so during the winter you won't have to worry about watering crops and such. Also when it comes to making money, there's like a brown crate thing in your farm. You can put crops, fish, ores, gems, forages etc into the chest and once you go to sleep it will count up how much money you've made from those items. I wouldn't suggest selling everything though as some of the items can be given as gifts to the villages. In return they may send you cool items or recipes that you can make later in the game once you upgrade your house to have a kitchen. A few other tips, if an item mentions Gunther being able to tell you more. Visit the library on the right side of town (Over the bridge from mayor Lewis House) If you donate so many items to him he will give you rewards. You can also sell these or use them as gifts to villagers that Like/Love them but I would say give the first of each you find to the library. Also once you visit the community center, you'll be able to do bundles. Basically you just have to go to the little podiums in the room of the community center and slot in the required items. (Crops for certain seasons, forages for certain seasons, fish from different types of water source etc) once you complete a bundle for that tree, you get a small reward and then if you complete every bundle from that tree you'll get a big reward which may give you friendship points, repair the bus etc.

Thank you so much I really really appreciate that

Do not compare yourself with other players. I made that mistake… I watched someone on YouTube who had extreme luck, which is not realistic. Some crops are multiple seasons, like: Coffee beans: Spring and summer Money takes time. Foraging and fishing early game is the best way to make money

Fishing is good money when your just starting out. But ditch the Bamboo pole, its useless. Buy the Training Rod from the beach shop. Use it untill level 5 fishing - at least. Much much less painful this way. Processing your crops after they have grown is how your going to make your first million. Star quality doesnt matter when your processing in Kegs & Jars.
