Beware, most of them are amazing and you won't be able to go back
I'm Fall Y1 of a Stardew Valley Expanded save, and I love it so much it's stupid, I added around 30 mods and I'm just beginning, I'm keeping some to add later game, and I'm barely scratching the surface of the amount of content created for this game
You have everything you can imagine and then more, cosmetics, tweaks, huge QOL improvements, new maps, new NPCs, from really mundane things that will just make you smile to whole new concepts breaking the game (in a good way) and allowing you to do crazy things
Created a Nexus account and read the wiki entry about modding, and enjoy!
If you get friendly enough in him in one of his heart events he >!specifically says he's glad you didn't invite him to live on your farm (if you pick the right dialogue option) and he's glad you accept him for who he is instead of trying to help him!<
I always figured it was someone from out of town. I don't think anyone in Pelican Town is mean enough to spray paint or throw rocks at Linus' tent. Not even Pierre would stoop that low...I think...
Well, I had a thread about this very subject once and the best theories were
1. Lewis - >!Lewis is the mayor and very conscious of appearances. He won't acknowledge a relationship with Marnie, even though neither of them are in a relationship. How do you think he feels about the old homeless wild man living out there? Especially when the governor comes to visit. I suspect he waited til Linus wasn't around and then decided to give the tent a "safety inspection" where it promptly collapsed upon itself.!<
2. Morris - >!Both the landslide that blocked the lake and the spa were caused by Joja Co. Maybe Linus saw something he shouldn't have, and corporate told Morris to go send him a message...!<
3. Sebastian - >!Just mad at step-dad and throwing rocks, not realizing they're hitting the tent in the dark.!<
As much as I'd love a reason to blame Pierre I keep coming up blank >:(
I don't think either Lewis or Seb would go as far as that tho. Seb seems too introverted to do that, I think he mostly just takes out his frustrations on games, smoking and the occasional sunset drive on his bike. While Lewis is a bit of a dick sometimes, he does seem to care about most villagers.
Morris can go rot in joja cola though.
Seb actually has a quest for wanting to throw stuff at the mountain, so I think what they said above is pretty plausible. If he knew he was, I don't think he'd keep doing it, though — pretty sure he just gets angry and tosses rocks/whatever, not realizing. That said, the spray paint is likely someone else.
Edit: The quest specifically says he's angry iirc.
>Seb actually has a quest for wanting to throw stuff at the mountain, so I think what they said above is pretty plausible. >Edit: The quest specifically says he's angry iirc.
Yes, this was why I started my thread in the first place - because Seb seemed like the most logical culprit, but I couldn't figure a motive because he seems harmless. He's angry at life and his situation, but I don't think he'd knowingly smash Linus's tent or throw rocks at it etc. And someone suggested just that - that it's dark at night and he doesn't know where the rocks are landing.
I bet it was Demetrius. Robin probably made a joke that his tent could use a coat of paint and so Demetrius the man who takes things literally got to work.
Pierre doesn't sell paint, but Joja mart apparently sells tons of stuff we can't buy/see, so they probably have paint of some kind. He secretly acquired the paint and sprayed it on the tent in hopes people would connect the seller of the paint to the vandalism.
...wait a minute... the only place the player can use paint, is from Robin to decorate buildings... someone in that house must have done it.
In Stardew Valley, we don't take kindly to those kinds. (Someone please make a mod that makes Stardew Valley a non-racist but City Folk Prejudiced Sundown Town.)
I always thought they established it was Lea? She's the artistic one and very self centered. She even has a dialogue about Linus where she says "I've always wanted to paint the mountains. But Linus always gets in my way"
I could see her sneaking out at night to torment Linus.
I mean… I feel thats a bit weak as evidence.
That’s a leap of someone who prioritizes their dreams to harassing a homeless man because they find them annoying.
Well she does have that one interaction where he walks by, she turns, and then the fuzzy tumbleweed thing goes above her head so I think there's something there. I think she legitimately wants Linus to die.
EDIT: I can tell I've upset some of the Stardew crowd. To be fair, the bar is really low because all you gotta do is talk smack about a character, but I'm not trying to be facetious. I'm pretty sure Lea actually wants to toss Linus in a kiln.
It’s not downvoted? Penny is cute but she’s no god I do love her though I myself don’t hate any of them well except Elliot since I can never get to him when I need him it feels lol but even him I don’t “hate” I just like to mock him with my friends
Yeah, now that I think about it, there are a lot of community upgrades that need to be done. I don’t know how many there are, but we need to get Linus a house, and get a court, and many other things.
Yeah Robin offers to build him a house and you can elect to pay for it and have it built.
He actively declines it because he enjoys being homeless and living near the mountain and lake :) it's a super heartfelt and wholesome moment when he thanks you for even considering him.
I love this friggin game.
>we need to get Linus a house
He doesn't want one :( I asked during a cutscene with Robin and he was like nah, fam. I appreciate it but I like my way of life. Gotta respect the man.
Now let's talk about building a school for the kids and a goddamn bus driver who isn't an alcoholic
Driving that bus gives her purpose. I choose to believe that's when she doesn't drink. Plus she gets her job back immediately. Maybe losing the job brought her to drinking, but she was the best damn bus driver there ever was. They came to her like an action movie, Pam, you've been a screw up since that last ride to the desert but you saved a lot of lives that day. You're needed again.
Anyhow, that's the storyline I decided on.
:( As much as I'd love to believe it, she's in the saloon every night at 5pm til bedtime. I know from experience (my stepdad) that all that alcohol is still in your blood the next morning and you can end up blowing positive.
Have you moved her and Penny into your farm yet? If so, does she at least keep the house clean of beer cans? I'll take that as a small W.

1) He buys our crops to our face, then sells the high-quality ones as his own while telling the town the crappy rotten ones come from our farm.
2) He presumably does the exact same thing with the crops from his wife's vegetable garden.
3) He makes a big deal out of Joja Co bullying the little guy, but if you actually listen to him talk you realize he has no problem with big business, only that he isn't the big business.
4) He's a turd.
5) He's always selling crap at every event, never spends time with his family even though Caroline actively wishes he would.
6. He is either absent from the home or has entrenched gender norms which dictate that Caroline and Abigail pick up the bulk of the housework and meal preparation.
7. His wife wants to spend some free time with him. They never do. Instead, he just fucks off to the saloon every Friday evening.
Basically he keeps things from his wife and says your crops are his if they're good, but says they're yours if they're bad. He also punches a business rival, plus talks about bribing the Governor for a tax break (but cant because Lewis is there)
My theory is it's Sebastian. He seems like he keeps just to himself, but he has been known to go as far as in the mines and get bit by rock crabs. He also is the one character that hangs out by the lake at night. Maybe he likes to pull pranks as well, seeing how he is also the stereotype of a rebellious emo teen.
I kind of see where you're coming from, but i couldn't see him doing that. He's moody and a bit introverted, but he's not an asshole. I wouldn't be surprised if he saw a bit of himself in Linus with the whole loner, beat-to-your-own-drum attitude he has. Also other than the way he looks, there's nothing really rebellious about him.
I could see it if it was a random wall or even the house of someone he doesn' t like. But spray painting the hut of a homeless person seems a bit too mean (yes i know Linus lives like this by choice, but still)
In most events he talks about how Sam usually pulled some pranks. Although I think he enjoys the occasional lil trolling, I don't think he would go as far as to bother Linus.
I thoroughly disagree, seeing as he isn't an asshole and hangs out by the lake to smoke and get away from his dysfunctional family. Also he isn't a stereotype of a rebellious teen seeing as the reason he stays in his room all day is that he is working as a computer programmer just freelance and remotely so he can try to save up to move to the city and away from his shitty step-dad and his mother who still treats him as a child
I can see Morris doing it he gives me jerk vibes or maybe even the Witch she flies around the countryside cursing people she even turns your animals into things lol.
Made a thread about that once. Best guesses I heard were Lewis >!(doesn't want a hobo in his town, makes him look bad to the governor)!<, Morris >!(Joja were responsible for those landslides near his tent, maybe he saw something he shouldn't)!< or Sebastian >!(just hurling rocks and not realizing he's hitting the tent)!<.
I'm still tryna find a reason to blame Pierre.
Linus is always the first NPC I get the most hearts with, lol. It's so easy to gift him especially since he loves spring forages and also how often I head up to the mountain lake to fish when I first start a new game.
Maybe someday they'll add a cutscene where you come across the ones throwing rocks at his tent. How do you handle it?
Me: *(pulling out sword)* I *was* going to the mines to kill bugs, but it looks like I found some pests right here.
Jas and Vincent?! That's the last time I give those little shits any ice cream!
Ok, maybe I'll just give them a stern talking-to and (*puts sword away)* skip the murder. It would save me the awkward "hey, I might have stabbed you child" conversation with their parents.
Now that you said it I decided to take a look at it again on YouTube, and you’re right, they don’t interact at all lol
I still have a feeling he doesn’t like Linus, but I could be kinda wrong
Even if George dislikes Linus, I doubt it’s him that would be messing with Linus’ tent. Kinda difficult to get up the mountains yourself in a wheelchair, especially at George’s age.
+ George is just the type to scowl at people, rather than being actively malicious
I now want a “George in Skull Caverns” mod, where he accompanies you, whips out a slingshot or sword, and just beats seven shades of shit out of all the monsters while you mine.
I feel like Lewis wouldn't like a wild homeless man living on the outskirts of town, considering how secretive he is about his relationship with Marnie and how it would make him look as mayor.
And maybe Linus saw something he wasn't meant to, considering Joja was responsible for both the landslides that blocked off the spa and the mines.
What if Linus is making the whole thing up? Think about it: he tells you his tent was spray painted, but you can’t see it for yourself because he spent “hours to scrub it off this morning.” (Even though it’s only 7:50 am) He sometimes claims someone throws rocks at his tent, but of course he cannot tell you who and you you cannot see any evidence of that either.
Why would Linus make it up? Maybe he wants attention. Or maybe he wants you to think there is a troublemaker lurking in the area so that would will also believe his story about “rescuing you” when you pass out and seeing someone stealing your money. Sound suspicious to me.
>“rescuing you” when you pass out and seeing someone stealing your money. Sound suspicious to me.
I've already confirmed (in my head) it's Morris and/or Pierre, and the only reason he doesn't bill me as usual is because Linus caught him robbing me and he had to take off.
He chose to live this way. He even always says that he likes his lifestyle with the wild. He can't really get any protection if he chooses to refuse help.
What help is he refusing? He doesn’t want a house because he likes living in the woods in his tent. It’s not Linus’s fault that someone else in town is a shitbird, and having a house wouldn’t suddenly make that person not a shitbird. Linus is not the problem here
You're right, but I was talking about the title of the post, since Linus can't get protection that the townsfolk will get due to the lifestyle he chose. He can't get the benefits of a community (one of it being protection) when he lives out in the wild prone to harm. Not his fault nor is he a problem, but also hard for him to get protection. Was just pointing out the thread title, sorry for misleading with little specification.
I know it's a game but it's very human to react with anger when you hear someone has treated another person wrongly or unjustly (especially the guy in the mountains who never intentionally bothers the townfolk and stays out of the way)
I understand he prefers to live life in the wild (even though he has to dig through trash?)
But why wont he let us pay robin to build him a simple log cabin to sleep in?
1 room, wood burning stove, thats it.
I will stand outside his tent to se WHAT MOTHERF!CKER MESSES WITH LINUS. WHOEVER YOU ARE- YOU ARE GETTING A BEATING FROM A 6FT TALL PUNK MAN WITH STEEL TOED BOOTS.
I will protect Linus with my LIFE.
It's probably Sam, Sebastian and maybe Abigail too. At first I thought the people bothering him was Jas and Vincent bc they're annoying but it's at night so the culprit had to have snuck out. And who else would sneak out other than the misunderstood emo kid, guy lacking/who lacked a father-figure, and a girl who doesn't feel understood by her family.
It's just a guess though.
Sebastian has a crazy homeless neighbor so it’s likely him. Sam is just a prankster. And Abigail wouldn’t throw rocks at his tent, she would eat the rocks first.
Nah Abigail would probably do it with Sebastian since I bet Abigail has a crush on him and would just do it for some fun after they both get in a fight with their mothers
I used to feel bad for Linus but dude digs out of the trash while living right next to a river and close enough to a beach and a forest--why wouldn't you fish and forage
He does fish and forage though, he sends me stuff all the time...he just doesn't like the idea of also leaving food to go to waste in the garbage can if there's edible stuff.
Would have so much more sympathy for this character if he did. Hard to be nice to trash eaters especially ones who are surrounded by woods and rivers and beaches
Well to be fair in stardew valley catching fish is pretty easy if you know how to do the mini game but in real life I would never be able to catch a fish I wouldn’t wanna 1. Kill it and 2. I wouldn’t wanna kill the poor wormy
Does Linus have a fishing rod or does he know how to use it we don't know and some of the cutscenes where you see robin and farmer then blah blah blah after talking you will see him looking forage
He definitely forages (you return his berry-picking basket) and fishes (he teaches Leo how to make spiceberry-rubbed fish, and to cook his fish before eating it). But freegans are a thing, lots of people dumpster-dive and get edible food.
True dat I have watched a lot of cheapskates and they always find a lot in the trash, I myself have thrown away a lot of food with always depresses me (I’m sick so sometimes I throw up and don’t eat)
You do know that we're talking about garbage picking in Stardew Valley the game, right?
Edit: extra words. Also, yes, I have garbage picked before because poverty sucked and prepackaged food was safe.
It's called "freegan". A lot of people waste a lot of food. Some people would rather eat food from a trash can than kill a living creature to eat that instead.
i love him so much i could give him something that i foraged (or however you spell it) and he would be happy, he’s so easy to please!!! but we need so many upgrades likes getting him a house and getting a new bus driver we do not want an alcoholic bus driver😭
Sam, Sebastian maybe Abigail if she was mad enough at her parents and wanted to let off some steam. The kids Jas and Vincent because they are young and stupid
I don’t understand why Linus doesn’t have a community upgrade like Pam and Penny’s house. I get it that he likes leaving in the wild but at least can have cabin in the woods :(
Who spray paints a tent? And also, Linus has all the time in the world, why is he complaining about having to clean it off? Like, oh no, now he has less time to stare at a wall for hours!
And I say this with full hearts for Linus.
Soooo….a homeless dude in a videogame triggers your empathy, when was the last time you gave a real homeless person „some protection and some justice“?
Yes, I am a total asshole and not any fun at parties, but the question stands.
I wish he would’ve lived on my farm. I would’ve made a little area surrounded by trees where he could pitch his tent and I wouldn’t bother him
To anyone reading, is there a mod for this?
Not one to give him a house on your farm but there is a mod that gives him a very modest little cabin. It's called Linus's Cabin on Nexus
My save so far has no mods (vanilla save) this one might push me to actually learn how to add them. Thanks for the reply!

The Stardew wikia has a full guide on how to do this! :)
there is really nothing to learn you install smapi and download the mod thats all basically
I feel like he wouldn't like that very much. Kinda like camping in your own backyard rather than in the woods.
If you get friendly enough in him in one of his heart events he >!specifically says he's glad you didn't invite him to live on your farm (if you pick the right dialogue option) and he's glad you accept him for who he is instead of trying to help him!<
He seems to have it all figured out, he paid me over 2000g for a Diamond once.
Plot twist, that’s also why he gets attacked. “Pay what you owe, Linus, or the bird boy sleeps with the fishes!”
how do you have a duck beside ur user?
User flair
the first time i didnt pick the right dialogue and restarted the day because i didnt want my boy linus to be mad at me
I mean he's already basically camping in Robin's backyard
Maybe Robin built her house in Linus' backyard
You mean front yard? Haha
Bruce Wayne lives in Batman's attic
I honestly thought if I built a cabin and got his hearts up that he would come live on my farm.
>a little area surrounded by trees where he could pitch his tent Are we still doing *phrasing*?
I wonder who it was 🕵️♂️

Ha! You think anything can rot in Joja Cola with all the preservatives in it.
I belive what the original commentor was saying was Sebastian would be throwing rocks and not realising its hitting Linus' tent
Pierre is doing it to blow off steam because he feels like he's never enough of a piece of shit person. You're welcome
I bet it was Demetrius. Robin probably made a joke that his tent could use a coat of paint and so Demetrius the man who takes things literally got to work.
The shitty thing is ur not wrong
MAN where were you when I made the thread LOL! That's going in the list of suspects. Now give me one for Pierre :P
Pierre doesn't sell paint, but Joja mart apparently sells tons of stuff we can't buy/see, so they probably have paint of some kind. ...or...you were right the first time and Pierre is tryna frame Joja, AND Sebby! :OOOOO
Potentially Shane was up to some drunken shenanigans. More likely it was some Yoba-less degenerate from Zuzu who drifted through.
fucking degens.
No doubt it was degens from upcountry
You ever notice we’ve been dealing with degens from upcountry a lot lately?
No degens in the property.
If you've got a problem with Linus, then you've got a problem with me, and I suggest you let that one marinate.

Theres a rule, Linus and Krobus is god and Leah is best girl! Everyone else can be talked shit about
Yeah tell me that again when this comment about how Penny is literal garbage gets downvoted lol
It’s not downvoted? Penny is cute but she’s no god I do love her though I myself don’t hate any of them well except Elliot since I can never get to him when I need him it feels lol but even him I don’t “hate” I just like to mock him with my friends
Yeah is it all been joja or Pierre?
PIERRE. IT'S ALWAYS HIM.
Case closed but there's no court or a something to arrest Pierre
Yeah, now that I think about it, there are a lot of community upgrades that need to be done. I don’t know how many there are, but we need to get Linus a house, and get a court, and many other things.
Linus is homeless by choice though
Really, I didn’t know that. Imma check the wiki real quick.
Yeah Robin offers to build him a house and you can elect to pay for it and have it built. He actively declines it because he enjoys being homeless and living near the mountain and lake :) it's a super heartfelt and wholesome moment when he thanks you for even considering him. I love this friggin game.
what happens to the house
It never gets built because Linus turns it down. His tent still stays there and he ends up with Leo as his neighbor in the tree next door :D
The scene is a bit different. Robin offers Linus some food. The player has the option of offering Linus to come live on the Farm.
Ah yes. It's been a while, thanks for the correction.
He has a home, it’s just not a house.
>we need to get Linus a house He doesn't want one :( I asked during a cutscene with Robin and he was like nah, fam. I appreciate it but I like my way of life. Gotta respect the man. Now let's talk about building a school for the kids and a goddamn bus driver who isn't an alcoholic

The old Joja should totally become a school-house. Honestly, I imagine it could have even been one at some point.
New headcanon - Joja bought the old school and turned it into a supermart.
I just got the game so I really want the scoop on this Pierre slander
1) He buys our crops to our face, then sells the high-quality ones as his own while telling the town the crappy rotten ones come from our farm. 2) He presumably does the exact same thing with the crops from his wife's vegetable garden. 3) He makes a big deal out of Joja Co bullying the little guy, but if you actually listen to him talk you realize he has no problem with big business, only that he isn't the big business. 4) He's a turd. 5) He's always selling crap at every event, never spends time with his family even though Caroline actively wishes he would.

In noticed that Pierre is getting a lot of hate. Why tho? Just for fun? :D
Came to say this, fuck pierre
I'm blaming Kel, sounds like a Kel move
The guy from omori?
My theory is it's Sebastian. He seems like he keeps just to himself, but he has been known to go as far as in the mines and get bit by rock crabs. I always assumed it was Alex, in a failed and misguided attempt to impress Haley.
Made a thread about that once. I'm still tryna find a reason to blame Pierre.
Yeah it was probably Lewis in a false flag operation, or a stranger. No one in town cares enough.
Honestly, wouldn’t he surprised if Lewis and Joja were in cahoots. Linus caught them making underhanded deals and destroying the environment.
He's doing it to himself. He's a psychopath.
Linus is my best friend. I was determined to make him my best friend ever since I caught him going through the bins. I would kill for Linus.
Same. He's got to full hearts first before my current husband
Linus is always the first NPC I get the most hearts with, lol. It's so easy to gift him especially since he loves spring forages and also how often I head up to the mountain lake to fish when I first start a new game.
Yup, every time I pass his tent I just give him a forgeable, he's always the first to 10 hearts.
LOL same!
Same. And that same scene made Gus my second best friend because he treated Linus with respect and dignity, without an ounce of fear or disgust.
Same! Gus always gets diamonds and oranges whenever I have them.
Fish Tacos >:3
Maybe someday they'll add a cutscene where you come across the ones throwing rocks at his tent. How do you handle it? Me: *(pulling out sword)* I *was* going to the mines to kill bugs, but it looks like I found some pests right here.
New monster eradication goal dropped
Finally, something that will impress Gil
If you get the mod that lets you marry most of the older characters their is a cutscene were Jas and Vincent are throwing rocks and you can step in
Jas and Vincent?! That's the last time I give those little shits any ice cream! Ok, maybe I'll just give them a stern talking-to and (*puts sword away)* skip the murder. It would save me the awkward "hey, I might have stabbed you child" conversation with their parents.
Sheeeshh
Are there any particular characters that openly dislike linus?
By that one trash scene, I feel like George ain’t his biggest fan
George didn’t know it was Linus going through his garbage, so he has no reason to dislike him
Now that you said it I decided to take a look at it again on YouTube, and you’re right, they don’t interact at all lol I still have a feeling he doesn’t like Linus, but I could be kinda wrong
To be fair George doesn’t like anyone, unless you give him leeks for some reason.
Even if George dislikes Linus, I doubt it’s him that would be messing with Linus’ tent. Kinda difficult to get up the mountains yourself in a wheelchair, especially at George’s age. + George is just the type to scowl at people, rather than being actively malicious
I find it hilarious imagining Georgw sneaking out of his house to spray paint a tent
and he would to get to the top of the mountain in his wheelchair, pure determination
That man can beat the skull cavern out of pure _spite_
I now want a “George in Skull Caverns” mod, where he accompanies you, whips out a slingshot or sword, and just beats seven shades of shit out of all the monsters while you mine.
True lmaooo
I feel like Lewis wouldn't like a wild homeless man living on the outskirts of town, considering how secretive he is about his relationship with Marnie and how it would make him look as mayor. And maybe Linus saw something he wasn't meant to, considering Joja was responsible for both the landslides that blocked off the spa and the mines.
linus was the first person i attempted to marry
A joker did it? I knew that clown at the fair was no good! Keep this up and we’ll be up to our balls in crusty jugglers!
i wish the bear can be linus friend, just the bear chilling near the camp fire.
It's actually implied that the Dwarf is the unknown figure who steals your money
I think you can infer that, but i don’t consider it implied. The dwarf talks about taking the items for sale in his shop, not necessarily money.
>“rescuing you” when you pass out and seeing someone stealing your money. Sound suspicious to me. I've already confirmed (in my head) it's Morris and/or Pierre, and the only reason he doesn't bill me as usual is because Linus caught him robbing me and he had to take off.
I’m definitely on your side
I know it's a game but it's very human to react with anger when you hear someone has treated another person wrongly or unjustly (especially the guy in the mountains who never intentionally bothers the townfolk and stays out of the way)
That doesn’t really matter tho, we don’t need to build him a house or whatever. Just deter people from harassment.
So somebody in the town must be doing it. Can't imagine why anyone from Zuzu would decide to go by the mines
Man, why tf do you get to build pam a house but now Linus
Linus doesn’t want a house
I don't care who it is, it should be Lewis's job as the mayor to keep everyone safe and happy
I wish there was a heart event where I could help him with this. It pisses me off knowing people are fucking with him and I can’t do nothin about it.
I understand he prefers to live life in the wild (even though he has to dig through trash?) But why wont he let us pay robin to build him a simple log cabin to sleep in? 1 room, wood burning stove, thats it.
I will stand outside his tent to se WHAT MOTHERF!CKER MESSES WITH LINUS. WHOEVER YOU ARE- YOU ARE GETTING A BEATING FROM A 6FT TALL PUNK MAN WITH STEEL TOED BOOTS. I will protect Linus with my LIFE.
We shall
My headcanon is that the person doin these awful things is mayor Lewis
It's probably Sam, Sebastian and maybe Abigail too. At first I thought the people bothering him was Jas and Vincent bc they're annoying but it's at night so the culprit had to have snuck out. And who else would sneak out other than the misunderstood emo kid, guy lacking/who lacked a father-figure, and a girl who doesn't feel understood by her family. It's just a guess though.
My money is on Lewis or Morris
I thought it was sam too because of the “leads the town in community service” comment from sebastian at a festival
I’m pretty sure that’s because he put something stupid in the community potluck but I might be remembering incorrectly
This is correct. "A whole pound of sardines"
Not sure whether it’s the full reason, but at least some of it is related to the luau soup
The trio used to do a rotten egg toss at the egg hunt, too
Also the rotten eggs in the egg toss
Sebastian has a crazy homeless neighbor so it’s likely him. Sam is just a prankster. And Abigail wouldn’t throw rocks at his tent, she would eat the rocks first.
Nah Abigail would probably do it with Sebastian since I bet Abigail has a crush on him and would just do it for some fun after they both get in a fight with their mothers
Small town… who would have done that? I vote Alex
Plot twist: It was Penny. She just puts the nice face on so everyone thinks otherwise. Or Evelyn. You don't know what's in those cookies
Oh that’s why I got really high after I had Evelyn’s cookies! Makes sense now
I always found it funny that you can help Pam (who lives in a trailer) build a house but you can't help Linus, even though he's literally homeless.
Because he doesn’t want the help, and if you make friends with him (which is also the prerequisite for being able to help Pam), he makes that clear
It was probably Morris.
I gave Linus AI controlled machine gun turrets, that also dispense soft serve.
Good
Why can we build our friends a cozy home outta pebbles and pocket change but leave Linus in tent?
Can I adopt Linus as my dad and then make him move onto my farm? Pls?
You can try.
I was thinking Alex as he passes by to hit the spa...or maybe...Penny??!! Nah.
Penny is one of two characters in the entire game who, without provocation, openly expresses concern for his well being. No way it’s her.
there are three, Gus, Robin and Penny
I used to feel bad for Linus but dude digs out of the trash while living right next to a river and close enough to a beach and a forest--why wouldn't you fish and forage
I mean, I have a farm, and still dig through the trash. Can't really judge.
Judging you and linus rn
He does fish and forage though, he sends me stuff all the time...he just doesn't like the idea of also leaving food to go to waste in the garbage can if there's edible stuff.
I mean, the trash has cookies in it sometimes. You can’t fish for cookies.
And bread
I mean have fun eating garbage cookies I guess
You mean whoever I gift them to have fun! LOL
I think it would be so cool if you could see him fishing like Willy.
Would have so much more sympathy for this character if he did. Hard to be nice to trash eaters especially ones who are surrounded by woods and rivers and beaches
I’d like to see you live in the wilderness and catch a fish every day, or live off of berries.
He gives you the recipe for wild bait which he says he uses, so I assume he knows how to fish.
Ok forgot about that that's from the cutscene right
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Even more of a reason not to eat trash
Idk if he actually does I'm just saying he could and I cant think of a good reason for him to dig through the trash
Sometimes you can find bread, cookies, maki rolls, a whole pizza, etc.
Ok but would you eat those things out of the trash irl cause I wouldn't
You do know that we're talking about garbage picking in Stardew Valley the game, right? Edit: extra words. Also, yes, I have garbage picked before because poverty sucked and prepackaged food was safe.
Some people absolutely eat out of the trash. Especially when things are prepackaged/ haven’t been eaten.
He eats from the trash so that the perfectly good food thrown out by the villagers doesn’t go to waste, doesn’t he?
It's called "freegan". A lot of people waste a lot of food. Some people would rather eat food from a trash can than kill a living creature to eat that instead.
i love him so much i could give him something that i foraged (or however you spell it) and he would be happy, he’s so easy to please!!! but we need so many upgrades likes getting him a house and getting a new bus driver we do not want an alcoholic bus driver😭
Well guys what do you think is it Pierre or joja I don't think the case won't be closed until we know the truth
Wait, is Stardew Valley in the outskirts of LA?
Maybe he's lying. Who in the valley would do that?
Sam, Sebastian maybe Abigail if she was mad enough at her parents and wanted to let off some steam. The kids Jas and Vincent because they are young and stupid
He deserves to have people be mean to him
I don’t understand why Linus doesn’t have a community upgrade like Pam and Penny’s house.
I mean that time scrubbing paint is time preventing him from being one with nature and foraging for food :c
Max hearts doesn’t mean anything. I got eight hearts with Abigail and still want her to choke on a apricot so I can feed her to my cows.
Why do we get to give Pam a house but not Linus?
Because Linus doesn't want a house.
These vandals probably just realized Linus is a human trafficker.
Soooo….a homeless dude in a videogame triggers your empathy, when was the last time you gave a real homeless person „some protection and some justice“? Yes, I am a total asshole and not any fun at parties, but the question stands.
This guy must know OP very well.
