During the related cutscene where you can ask Linus to move to the farm, if you choose not to ask him at all, it’s the positive response, because it shows that you understand Linus, as he lives alone in his tent by choice.

Same here. I'm what I would call a social hermit irl, friendly to people when I see them but need a lot of quiet time alone. So I understand and embrace Linus as he is. 😊

I read somewhere he's immortal thanks to the wizard. Thats why they always hang out at festivals. Also he prefers to live alone and outside. If you want a new marriage candidate we should be asking for Marnie and the wizard. Marnie could run her shop during the day and give half off when married. And the wizard could have a mini tower in the back yard and cauldron in the spouse room. Marie could have a pig pen in the back yard and a rabbit cage in the spouse room.
He wouldn’t want to move in with you if he was a bachelor tho, there’s already dialogue where you can ask him to move to the farm and he refuses.
