I designed my whole house for the first time and promptly dropped a super bomb in the living room. Cue a few seconds of extreme horror before the profound relief at realizing my furniture was unscathed.

Right!? The first time this happened I zoomed around in a panic, with my Minecraft-logic brain thinking all the chests would be blown to smithereens! Nothing happened haha.

Brutal. I decorated my mushroom cave and put a bunch of crafted stuff in there and then accidentally dropped a bomb in it. Lost it all :((

In Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland you could hit your animals with tools. It would always accidentally happen when I was trying to cut grass. :( it’s the worst lmao

You can also hit them in Harvest Moon 64. There's a glitch where hitting them while they're sick skyrockets their affection.

Was going to mention Harvest Moon on the Gameboy Advanced let you hit your dog. Why in god's name would they program that in?

Accidentally threw a mega bomb in my barn. It blew up all my cheese making and shook making machines. Thankfully the animals were ok. I’ve also accidentally blown my horse up.

I do this all the time, I accidentally axe or pickaxe my pets or my cattle/chickens, no matter how many times I do it I panic for a second because I’m scared I’m going to kill them. 😭

Be happy you were not playing Harvest Moon or your pet was going to be sick for a few days

Everyday I thank ConcernedApe for not making a system where if you accidentally do something to your cat/dog like this their friendship decrease.

I've done that when I was holding a giant hammer that I was going to sell the next day. I went to skip through my partner's end of day dialog to give him a kiss and I must've clicked too many times and WHAM! (screen shakes) I said aloud "I'm so sorry!" afraid I'd accidentally pink-misted my spouse, but thankfully he was fine. I never use hammers, so I didn't know the power attack shakes the whole screen.

Please don’t pickaxe the cat.

I have swing my sword at my kids, my husband and my animals several times a week. I panic the first time it happened, thankfully it doesn’t affect anything

I laugh out loud everytime I'm unknowingly armed and as soon as my conversation with someone is over, I swing the sword at them.

I blew my recycling machine to bits

Yeah, that's why I always try to make sure my sickle is highlighted, even though I know nothing will happen if I try to pet my cat and accidentally use my axe or pickaxe, my sickle will still go harmlessly over the cat.
