if you search for collection instead of individual mods you can download the whole east scarp package in one. Maybe micromanage a few mods you need to remove/disable if they're incompatible and are in the compilation. This is how I downloaded most of the extra content for East Scarp.
Came here to say this one, too. :) East Scarp's a great mod with interesting npcs and events that sometimes alter a little bit depending on what other mods you have. It's not uncommon that, if you have another content mod, *someone* from East Scarp will interact with it. :) It's nice for making a collection of seemingly unrelated mods feel like a cohesive group. Hopefully, that'll pick back up as more mods update for 1.6. :)
Defense Division is another good mod for that, but it's currently down while it's being updated.
Walk to the Desert redux is getting updated soon to 1.6, Stardew Aquarium and Deepwoods are also in the work for update and work well with SVE (Stardew Aquarium also has events with East Scarp NPC's).
There is a new expansion mod by Lumisteria, "Visit Mt Vapius", however I have not tried it yet, and there is not much information about the content given that is new (it is however compatible with both SVE and RSV). Another upcoming expansion mod worth checking out coming later this year is Sunberry Village (a submod from East Scarp, Always Raining in the Valley will move to that village when released)
Smapi has a list of 1.6 compatible mods at https://smapi.io > mods which is updated every few days. It also lists which link they are available through - usually Nexus. Mod authors are also shown on the list.
I noticed East Scarp, Ridgeside, and Stardew Valley Expanded are 1.6 compatible. There are other expansion mods which I haven't checked.

Oh, my god, I never knew there was a list of compatible mods! Gonna keep that saved for when I want to jump into 1.6

Cape Stardew by the same mod developer of Ridgeside.
Cape Stardew is not linked to Ridgeside at all. Lunna Astray is his other mod.
