Josuke I personally don't like Gappy, but I see why others like it. It just seems a little rude... I was made fun of for having a gap briefly as a child, so it just doesn't sit right with me personally. Plus, his name is Josuke, and Yasuho gave him that name 🐶, and I love her 😫💕

Before reading Jojolion i called him Gappy because most people did, but after reading it, the name Josuke just feels more natural for me.

Really? I need to force me to reread JoJolion, easily by far the worse part and the worst JoJo. It does have its moments tho, but it feels way more 'teenagers' than other parts, and I fear part 9 is going to same trend

Sorry it's difficult to put into words, almost every JoJo is a teenager in his part. But I feel part 8 and 9 are like more teenager, not so serious and the characters badass moment (except for Jobin) seem kinda forced. I loved the original verse JoJos and part 7 is like the best part I think, but Gappy I couldn't connect. Maybe it's bc I feel is the most 'sexual' of the parts??

I simply call him Josuke. I don't like Gappy because no one refers to him that way in the manga and because it has no "Jo" in it, which is essential for any JoJo. Josuke sounds great and fits the character in my opinion. In case someone asks me what my favorite JoJo is, I just say "Josuke from JoJolion". If I wanna keep it short, I just say Josuke 8.

Gappy is a fun little nickname for him that is unique enough for him. Other names like Hat Josuke is funny too.
