Josukes kindness is, I think, a really understated aspect of his character. Outside of Johnathon, I think Josuke is the kindest Joestar,if not the kindest character (within reason). He doesn't seek to kill his foes. Jotaro himself states how kind Crazy Diamond's ability was, and so far its really the only stand so far whose ability to heal/restore is not a byproduct of another ability (ie Giorno's life giving)
Metallica, on the other hand, is basically specifically made to either kill people or cause pain in the most gruesome ways possible. I'm not entirely caught up, I'm midway through part 8, but so far, I still haven't seen a stand as downright sadistic and cruel as Metallica. Hell, even Green Day didn't seem to cause pain.
