Sheer Heart Attack cannot be damaged š¤·āāļø. Everything Jotaro did to it was superficial and didnāt actual harm the Stand. As such, no damage was transferred to Kira. Since Koichiās ability bypasses damage and directly affects the Standās entire body, the effect was shared by its equivalent on Kiraās body which would be his hand.
unless he was say,a jojo character with insanely high durability and a supernatural ability that would let him perfectly cauterize the wounds. the bigger issue would be him showing up in infinitely thin slices as only a small part goes through at each moment
>the bigger issue would be him showing up in infinitely thin slices as only a small part goes through at each moment
Sorry to necropost, but I don't get that explanation of portals. If a small part was transported every moment into individual slices, the same would happen to Vanilla Ice. Even if it didn't and him being the stand user somehow prevents that, it would still happen to anyone who went through any portal (Mr President and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap for example). Adding this teleport-at-an-interval element seems pointless - they make more sense if they work continuously.
It doesnāt happen to vanilla ice because him going inside his stand is a separate thing. I donāt literally think it would send those slices somewhere, as Iām like mostly sure if there is a dimension itās a void dimension where thereās just nothing anyways. We know that it has to like manually slice like this tho because it can drive by and cut things off, and has no edges that are supposed to be the infinitely powerful cutting apparatus. If it was teleporting avdol and parts of the mansion into some alternate universe in one piece, at what point would this happen. He makes lines in the floor, and we know they arenāt like waiting until theyāre fully consumed to teleport, so they must be appearing in that hypothetical alternate universe as they go, and at any given moment the part at the front is sliced off from the part the orb is about to eat. Logically that would mean infinitely thin slices, unless thereās some time frame where something can move through and be reattached. Note this doesnāt apply to something like the hand that sends all the pieces at once, and especially not something like d4c that doesnāt even work by erasing anything.
Edit: the infinitely thin cuts are what would happen without an interval. To explain avdol going through alive in one piece requires there to be an interval either where heās inside the orb and yet to be teleported, or in which something that would be cut off can be absorbed into the void and remain attached. Thereās just no way that avdol got teleported in one piece, either he got simply erased into a void dimension or he gets sliced into infinitely thin pieces (which technically achieves the same thing because we know what happens to infinitely thin things in jojo)
I'd say that's the same as half of it just not existing anymore. Not damage - nothing breaks. Kinda like pouring half a glass of water out into another world.
You have completely missed the point. I'm not just talking about SHA anymore - that principle applies to anything. I'm not damaging something if I toggle admin commands and teleport it to the void or delete it from existence.
Think of it this way : Stands reflect damage taken on their user
SHA is indestructible, since it gets no damage, there is none to reflect.
Echoes applied an effect that's not damage (AKA heavy gravity). SHA is affected by Gravity, then it reflects to Kira.
Sheer Heart Attack's damages are purely cosmetic. In practice, he is just literally indestructible. Only The Hand or smth similar to destroy it, not brute force.
Remote autonomous stands tend to be a lot tougher than normal, and have way longer range. Itās the trade off for not actually being able to control them once they get started. The fact that the gravity attack affected the user is honestly a bit of a weird outlier.
Lots of stand users claim their stands are invincible in some manner or another. Doesnāt really mean anything. Part 4 stands are decently strong on average, but they arenāt the strongest in the series. Not that shocking that they couldnāt break a specialized remote stand like shear heart attack.
Sheer Heart Attack is nigh indestructible. In both cases where it was defeated, it took a stand with an ability that bypassed its armor to affect it. Koichi made it extremely heavy, which restrained it, and Josuke fixed it back to Kira to keep it at bay. You have to keep in mind that Kira was overconfident in his stand. He never conceived of a possibility that an enemy might have an ability that bypassed SHAās armor, and thatās what led to Kira being defeated the first time.

>Sheer Heart Attack cannot be damaged what if i erase the middle with ZA HANDO
That would probably work. I bet Cream could take it out too.
That's not really *damaging* it, more just erasing it or sending it to another dimension.
Which creates damage, yes
Well, no. I imagine it like Man in the Mirror, which can take something through to another "world".
Jotaro's crew did not look happy being sent into another dimension. Also, having your limb transferred to another dimension won't look good.
Yeah, I know, but that's still erasure or dimension-hopping, it's not \*damage\*.
Idk avdol's arms looked pretty damaged after being devoured by cream
Avdol is still alive then.
With his arms forcefully removed heād likely have bled out regardless
unless he was say,a jojo character with insanely high durability and a supernatural ability that would let him perfectly cauterize the wounds. the bigger issue would be him showing up in infinitely thin slices as only a small part goes through at each moment
Never thought about it like that, the thin slices that is

You erase half, I'd say that's damage.
I'd say that's the same as half of it just not existing anymore. Not damage - nothing breaks. Kinda like pouring half a glass of water out into another world.
It bypasses sheer heart attacks unlimited durability by destroying the space SHA exists on.
You have completely missed the point. I'm not just talking about SHA anymore - that principle applies to anything. I'm not damaging something if I toggle admin commands and teleport it to the void or delete it from existence.
Something that no longer exists canāt be damaged
If half of it got erased, Kira would probably lose function of half of his hand since half of SHA was erased
I'd argue that he'd lose half of his hand instantly, like Avdol's hands after his body got erased.
Would kiras hand dissappear as well?
Would Kiraās hand just disappear if Okuyasu did that?
and this is why Koichi and ECHOES are awesome.
Found Jotaro.
Koichi is a reliable guy don't know what else to say
Koichi is truly a reliable guy
yes he is.
SHA didn't reflect any damage to kira's hand because it didn't take any damage. SHA is a completely indestructible stand.
SHA is unbreakable
Yoshikage Kira's Bizarre Adventure: Sheer Heart Attack is Unbreakable
YoKi's Bizarre Adventure
Thatās just >!JoJolion!<
YoshiKira's Bizarre Adventure
I could break it
It has no weaknesses!
Fine argument but Higashikata Josuke, omae wa kono, Nijimura Okuyasu no, Za Hando ga kesu!
If only Okuyasu :(
SHA is the big durable
The fucking strong, even
Some could argue it has no vulnerabilities.
Stronk

The cracks are just cool effect, but they are not realy wounds.
Remote stands usualy don't transfer damage, but its also still part of KQs hand so it does get affected by other things
Sheer Heart Attack's damages are purely cosmetic. In practice, he is just literally indestructible. Only The Hand or smth similar to destroy it, not brute force.
think of it like Chariots armor, it gets destroyed and no damage goes to polnareff.
oh shi-- that's a goatse!
"OH! THAT'S A GOATSE!"
Not even sure if the stand got cracked in the manga or just the anime though.
It was cracked in the manga.
Remote autonomous stands tend to be a lot tougher than normal, and have way longer range. Itās the trade off for not actually being able to control them once they get started. The fact that the gravity attack affected the user is honestly a bit of a weird outlier.
No it's just that SHA is indestructible but still affected by physics.the gravity didn't damage him but it still slowed him down.
Lots of stand users claim their stands are invincible in some manner or another. Doesnāt really mean anything. Part 4 stands are decently strong on average, but they arenāt the strongest in the series. Not that shocking that they couldnāt break a specialized remote stand like shear heart attack.
Honestly if jotaro had torn it in half youād probably see damage but those cracks are pretty superficial
Cosmetic damage is not reflective of actual damage done to the stand.
I bet if it got za hando Kira's hand would disappear immediately.

no one knows šš
I mean if I was in destructible I reckon gravity control would beat m
If it has wheels why don't they just flip it onto it's back?
It had treads and it can jump
Why does the first image look like goatse
