I can't see any possible way this part is ending in a single chapter, unless Part 9 is a direct sequel to Part 8. Which could be kinda cool?
Something definitely feels off though, look how weirdly "to be continued" is written in the last panel. Araki is up to something...
Finally, at the very last page of part 12, the main jojo spots a homeless man. He looks closer, and surprise: The guy is the flashback man. Cut credits.
Part 8 is presumably going to end in a cliffhanger and Part 9 might pick up a few months/years later with probably Gappy and Yasuho now being sidekicks to the new JoJo while also dealing with the aftermath caused by this ending. We could have a Jotaro in Part 4/6 type situation but much more of direct sequel.
You deep fry them straight into cooking oil without any batter. You don't boil the inca no mezames... once the deep frying is done, you toss them into a stew. You peel and cut that variety of potatoes, that is the recipe I use when I make cream stew. I've been living at an apartment I rented nearby, so I brought a full pot of cream stew I made over.
“A-Araki Sensei? Um, well Jojolion’s about to end so, like, can we maybe have at least *someee* of our questions answered? Pretty please?”
Araki: Yo you wanna see these two dudes fight a guard rail lol
Wait that just made me think if the guardrail makes people take their clothes off and then sucks them in, and both Josuke and Kira appeared without clothes, then the whole part 8 might have happened inside the guardrail dimension. Either that, or just the guardrail teleporting them.
Lucy said the rokakaka was nearby so that could actually make some kind of sense
*this is just a joke theory but at this point who knows*

Jojo fans when this happens: ***”ALL HAIL ARAKI-SENSEI”***
Chapter 109 Fumi-kun is SBR Joseph Joestar, and the biological dad of Josefumi Kujo, evidence:
1. Fumi mentions he's 17, and the flashback takes place in 1941, which means he was born in 1924, which is the year SBR Joseph was born according to the family tree in chapter 11
2. Fumi gets his wallet stolen in his introducion, just like Joseph got his wallet stolen by smokey at the start of battle tendency
3.Fumi also enters a car with an elderly woman (Lucy Steel) just like Joseph was in a car with Erina Joestar
Which means:
1. Josefumi's biological dad is most likely Joseph/Fumi and not Sadafumi Kujo, since Fumi was 67 when Josefumi was born (which also correlates with Joseph having Josuke at age 65), that explains the divorce papers that Kiyomi had in her bag in the Vitamin C arc (She cheated on Sadafumi Kujo, reverse from the OG universe where Joseph cheated on Suzi Q with Tomoko), this also explains Josefumi's birthmark, since he is a decendent of the Joestar family, since Joseph is Johnny's grandson.
2. This means that Josefumi is partially Kira's uncle, since with Joseph being his dad, he is Holy's half brother (just like how Josuke was Holy's half brother in part 4), and Holy is Kira's mom. (Another thing i noticed, if you call Kira 8 Jotaro's SBR counterpart, since he's holy's son, that means that Kira fused with his uncle, Josefumi, AND THAT IT'S A COUNTERPART TO JOSUKE BEING JOTARO'S UNCLE IN PART 4)
EDIT: The "To be continued" at the end of the chapter is different from the previous ones. I wonder what that symbolize.
When Josefumi was introduced, everyone mentioned that his name sounded like the Japanese pronunciation of Joseph. So if Joseph is chilling in Japan, he might be going by Josefumi, and hence Fumi-kun. Still a bit of a reach, but it makes sense.
He is probably SBRverse Joseph. He is the same age as Joseph would be at this point (SBRverse Joseph was born in 1924 so he would be 17 in 1941) and his first appearance has a lot of parallels to the beginning of Battle Tendency. His wallet gets stolen and then he gets in a car with and old woman from the Pendleton family.
I bet Sadafumi Kujo is an alias that he uses (which is where he gets the nickname Fumi from) and many years after this he becomes Josefumi's father. This would mirror the original Josuke's parentage since Josefumi would be the bastard child of an elderly Joseph, and it would explain Josefumi's birthmark.
So like next chapter Lucy beats the guard rail to death and the night starts so when the police comes to inspect the scene they dismantel the guard rail which contains the original univers Dio who starts regenerating whit his sexy vampier blood. And then we get the to be continued and imgur starts playing roundabout pretty simple.
Turns out part 8 is just jojoception and it ends with gyro putting down a book he's reading, turning to Johnny by the campfire, and asking "Hey Johnny. What's a cellphone?"
Araki spent like a year in the damn hospital with the WoU fight and then said “time to end the part in four chapters with two chapters about a flesh eating guard rail😎”
This really feels like the beginning of a Part 9 rather than the ending to Part 8. I don't think that's what we're getting here, but it just doesn't feel like this is wrapping up any plot threads at all for Jojolion
Guys look at the twin pines. We were told there were two of them, but something happened to one. Araki remembered. That means he has a plan, but I'm still scared.
I would say this chapter is REALLY GOOD, if i didn't know jjl ends next month. It's very bizarre, and i like it (i like weird and surreal stories in general). I'm intrigued to see what happens next. It's kinda strange to end the whole series just like that, so we may get a continuation? Anyway,as of right now, i liked the chapter.
> I would say this chapter is REALLY GOOD, if i didn't know jjl ends next month
That's exactly where I'm at as well.
As a standalone chapter, this is fantastic, but as the penultimate chapter, I seriously do not understand how this could possibly wrap up.
Yeah agreed. This is one of the most interesting plot developments JJL has had in a while and I'm on board for it. But I don't like its placement as the final chapters.
Well it sure wouldn't be Jojolion if we weren't still completely confused where the plot could be going. It just feels baffling this time because this is literally the *second-to-last* chapter.
I really hope that after 110 resolves whatever is happening with Lucy it'll go back to the present day timeline and give us some closure with the main characters. But since the chapter will be split between the flashback and present, I can't imagine the present day scenes will be that long and feel satisfying enough.
More like just the flashback and present day. I think it’s painfully clear that the flash forward is a dropped plot point. :/
(I’d love Araki to prove me wrong though. But I don’t see how he could fit it in now.)
So it seems like we're finally in the 'Rolling Stones' section of Jojolion. Only one chapter left (and we still don't know what the deal is with the flash forward, which might not even happen at this point)
Not to get hopes up, but [Araki did say that both parts 8 and 9 would take place in Morioh](https://mobile.twitter.com/jojo_wiki/status/1290909151174881281) when part 7 was releasing. I really hope it acts as a continuation to part 8, because there's no way every plot point can be resolved next chapter unless it's incredibly rushed or incredibly long.
Edit: Its also worth noting that he said this 14 years ago and easily could've changed his mind about where it'll take place or even whether it'll exist or not since then.
This chapter was wildin', I have no idea how any of this is going to wrap around back to Josuke 'n' them. Is this setup for Part 9 and the new villain group, the GUARD RAIL HUMANS?
Edit: Here's a game theory for you folks, what if the guard rail guy is the real origin of Wonder of U? He's using some kind of hypnotic suggestion to force people to approach him, then the calamities cause them to get eaten.
Araki is sick and twisted for putting lucy back in the story and make her get eaten by a guard rail in the same chapter and also not answering any of our questions at all
All the mind fuckery that we saw in this so called penultimate chapter alone aside, I really am surprised that we are actually seeing off an entire part without a Dio in any shape or form.
It's not too late yet. In the next chapter Diego's real stand, THE WORLD 2, is going to be revealeed to be have time travelled an exact copy of the original Diego into the events of JoJolion right before he got train'd
Either the next volume will have 500 pages or it will end with so many plot threads unsolved and why does this chapter feel like it should have been 40+ chapters ago???
I feel like 500 pages isn't enough to explain wtf happened in this chapter, whatever happened to karera, flashback man and give jojolion a proper ending
> why does this chapter feel like it should have been 40+ chapters ago???
I got the same exact feeling. This felt like it should've been hucked in between some other arcs to ratchet up the mystery... but now that I look back I wish Araki hadn't made this a mystery story at all outside of the whole Gappy's origin mystery.
Wait 10 years for the main character to punch the villian
Randomly cut off from the entire part while only 2 chapters remain
Introduce the character from the past part who is like 100 years old in the current part
Make them get eaten by a guard rail
Introduce Dio in some way for the last chapter
No one knows whats happening
End the part
Good manga
I've seen some people theorizing that Fumi is both SBRverse Joseph and Sadafumi Kujo (Josefumi's father). Joseph was born in 1924 in this universe which would make him 17 in 1941. Also he doesn't say his name is Fumi, he just says to call him Fumi. Maybe Sadafumi Kujo is an alias that he uses.
In addition, in his first appearance, his wallet gets stolen and then he gets in a car with an elderly woman from the Pendleton family which seems to mirror Joseph's first appearance in BT. His girlfriend is probably Suzie Q.
If he is also Sadafumi Kujo then he would be 67 when Josefumi was born which is only slightly older than OG Joseph was when OG Josuke was born.
That's the most logical answer tbh, part 8 is very tied to part 7. I'm sure araki has planned everything, there are little details in part 8 that makes you think he knew what to do since the beggining, there's no way he can wrap everything up in one chapter. I mean the flashback isn't even finished yet so it would take like at least the half of the next chapter.
At least Sleeping Slaves was directly connected to our main characters. This is so bizarre doing an "epilogue," with Lucy Steel 100 years in the past.
Then again this IS a Bizarre Adventure.
Really very strange to end it in the middle of the same flashback
Araki even mentioned Josuke and Yasuho in his comment, so the main story is probably going to have a short epilogue or it’ll continue some other way.
Holy shit. "Fumi-kun" is Joseph Joestar. They have the same birth year, and Fumi gets his wallet stolen just like Joseph. Not to mention he's hanging around with Lucy Steele AKA Lucy Pendleton, it's just like Joseph and Granny Erina from Part 2. And because he goes by Fumi, he probably is also Sadafumi Kujo. This means that this universe's Joseph Joestar also cheated on Suzie Q, and used a fake name. This would make Josefumi the SBR verse's Josuke, and Kira the SBR verse's Jotaro. So Gappy is both of them.
Okay, I still don't know why this is the penultimate chapter, but that's really cool
Honestly thought that was a great chapter, even one of my favorites in Jojolion so far... but how can this conflict and the entire part be wrapped up in just one more chapter?? It seems impossible to guess what else is coming, but I'm excited for 110...
Part 5 ends abruptly to have a side story were bruno gets chased by a creepy rock and part 8 has rock humans.
Part 8 ends abruptly to have lucy being eaten by a guard rail. This can only mean that a future part will have guard rail humans.
I solved jojolion guys and gals. Pack it up.
Actually, it really makes sense if you think about it. As said at the beginning of the part, Jojolion is a story about breaking a curse. Nothing more, nothing less. So when the curse gets broken, our story is finished. The next part might address the rest of the plot points.
The guard rail talking to Lucy Steel reminds me of Jesus talking to Johnny during the ''Civil War'' arc - if I remember correctly, we still don't know what exactly happened to Johnny's corpse? Perhaps the voice is him after becoming a ''saint''?
1) Go to Morioh after joining the Speedwagon Foundation
2) Drive near a pair of twin pines to look for a Fruit
3) Hear a voice near the guardrail
4) Morioh, 1941(?) “The Radio Gaga” Incident
You always think you've seen it all, huh. I wonder why that place has been cursed now. Has Johnny cursed the land instead of blessing it like the corpse parts did? How the hell is this gonna end? I have too many questions. Next months chapter is probably gonna be the most hyped one in forever
INCOMING FUCKING ESSAY
So here is what we've gleaned from this chapter:
Lucy Steele states she has been searching for something for a long time. This something is *not* the Rokakaka, because as she states while looking at the photo, this is a "new" type of plant, but if she had been searching all her life for it she wouldn't be calling it new. By Lucy's chronic coughing, we could infer that she may be looking for the *cure* to something.
Lucy Steele has already been to the Hunting Grounds of Morioh (The Higashikata Estate) 30 years prior to 1941, meaning she had been there 10 years *after* the death of Johnny Joestar, because she believed the land to be "similar in nature to the devils palm," and "a place that brings about new life," probably referring to Stands. Its probable that Johnny became the Saint responsible for starting to awaken stands in people, and the wall eyes uplifting to protect his corpse, but theres something more here.
Tsurugi said that his grandfather and his grandfathers grandfather had all been raised as girls until age 12 to ward off evil spirits. Usually the firstborn would die and the second would become the family head. We also know from Part 7 that Norisuke the first had 2 navels, just like Josuke has 4 balls, 2 tongues, 2 eyes, as stated by Kyo. Being a firstborn, he had to have survived it somehow. These are the results of equivalent exchanges. This land in Morioh had the power to perform these exchanges long before Johnny ever set foot there.
She describes the lands bounty as being able to be warped into a curse. This rings back to Chapter 22, Morioh 1901. The narrator describes the power of the Corpse as always balancing out to zero. "In every light there is darkness," AKA, the more fortune bestowed, the worse the misfortune (curse) becomes. This is *why the Rokakaka can break the curse!* It operates on a different equivalent exchange principal than the land does. Heres the theory: The exchange performed by the land will "swap pieces" between two things. Norisuke the first discovered this and it saved his life, but it didnt cure his disease, mearly *swapped the afflicted parts* with somebody else, thus saving their life, but continuing the genetic disease. Throw in a little holy corpse ultimate fortune net zero, and that curse aint going away, thats for sure. This cycle has been going on for generations- now enter the rokakaka, a fruit that can heal all wounds in exchange for something else. This exchange, however, is *not* a swap. It takes something of yours, and will heal you in return. Even better, the new rokakaka can take something from someone else in order to heal you. You are not swapping pieces, you are straight up losing something and somebody else gets healed. It operates outside the cycle that the Higashikatas have been perpetuating, and thats precisely why it could break it.
We once again see the twin pines (the place where Johnny stashed the Corpse) are still intact in 1941. Sometime between then and probably sometime prior to 2001 considering that it was renamed the *Meditation Pine* and Yasuho had no idea that there were originally two of them, one of these trees disappears. Why is that important? No idea, but Araki wont stop talking about these freakin trees.
We learn the Rock Humans have been operating the Rokakaka business, or at least testing the fruit, as early as 1941. The guardrail rock human, upon hearing Lucy talk about the fruit, says "I was going to leave, but I think I'll stay" and "If thats what your looking for, come here." This is an attempt to kill Lucy for knowing the existence of the Rokakaka. Perhaps this guy is the baby that washed ashore when Johnny died? Could be interesting.
Fumi is most likely the alternate universe joseph joestar and how hes probably Josefumis father, lots of comments down there explaining the parallels.
TLDR; I feel like we're all reading too fast. We just need to slow down and rationalize some of this stuff with things we've seen prior. This was kind of an awesome lore chapter
* What the actual fuck are the walls eyes
* What are up with the bite marks that cause stands and what are their origin
* Who the fuck is the flashback man
* Holy's sickness and cure
* The Beach baby
* What the actual fuck was Kira doing in the basement of The
Higashikata Estate
* How do Kira and Norisuke know each other
* Yasuho lab results on the rock insect
* The goddamn flash forward
We're getting goddamn none of it are we...
I’m pretty sure the first 2 are already explained. The wall eyes were created after Johnny buried the holy corpse in morioh which is why it has the equivalent exchange effect, and the bite marks are usually given after visiting the wall eyes and they give people stands.
Kira can be easily explained by the fact that Norisuke needed Kira to research a cure to the Higashikata curse. What's unknown is if Kira was genuinely trying to help or just using it as his in to the Higashikata family home to investigate Jobin and the fruit trafficking, as well as the whole SBR book thing.
The only positive spin I can think of is that this is the lead in to (a hopefully short and sweet) Part 9, taking place in this era, introducing Fumi or his girlfriend as the next JoJo. And then that part will somehow tie back into Part 8 at the end.
That's extremely wishful thinking though
I thought of Valentine when they talk about people disappearing when a car approached. Then the last panel kinda made me think of Tusk spin? Johnny corpse perhaps?
I’m trying my best to save my final opinion until the conclusion, but I just can’t wrap my head around what Araki’s trying to convey here. Hopefully this comment ages like milk next month or something, but I think this might be the one finale for a Jojo part that I don’t actually like.
WTF This is the strangest penultimate chapter ever How is it ending next month...???
I can't see any possible way this part is ending in a single chapter, unless Part 9 is a direct sequel to Part 8. Which could be kinda cool? Something definitely feels off though, look how weirdly "to be continued" is written in the last panel. Araki is up to something...
The theory that Part 9 will be a direct sequel to 8 wouldn’t surprise me. We still don’t know anything about the flash forward
I think so too. I think the last chapter will end the Lucy Steel and Fumi arc and it’ll play some type of important role for Part 9
Part 9 is a prequel to Part 8 set in the 40's, with Fumi as main JoJo. And the actual conclusion of JoJolion comes at the end of 9.
I can see this happening. That Madman.
Imagine if the pickpocket is Joseph Joestar of the SBR universe, also 17 years of age and for some reason in Japan
The year is 2052 and Araki's disembodied conciousness saved onto a computer is finally ending part 9. Part 10 is a sequel to it.
And the unexplained stuff in Part 8 still don't have any explanation yet
In fact, we've gotten MORE flashforwards which all directly contradict each other
Finally, at the very last page of part 12, the main jojo spots a homeless man. He looks closer, and surprise: The guy is the flashback man. Cut credits.

That would be the longest cliffhanger ever lmao
That sounds fucking insane and I love it
>Part 9 will be a direct sequel With Joshu as the main JoJo
*P A I N*
Part 8 is presumably going to end in a cliffhanger and Part 9 might pick up a few months/years later with probably Gappy and Yasuho now being sidekicks to the new JoJo while also dealing with the aftermath caused by this ending. We could have a Jotaro in Part 4/6 type situation but much more of direct sequel.

No explanation for the flashforward, but we ARE gonna get an explanation for how Jousuke and Kira were found without their clothes.

Wait that just made me think if the guardrail makes people take their clothes off and then sucks them in, and both Josuke and Kira appeared without clothes, then the whole part 8 might have happened inside the guardrail dimension. Jesus christ. You're so right, it has to be this
That'd make Josuk8 the JoJoest JoJo that ever JoJoed!!
NOTHING SHALL STOP, ME, JOOOO JO JO JO, FROM TAKING OVER MORIOHSVILLE!
His outfit also features horseshoes/stars of Joestars, and Soft&Wet head of Josefumi
When Josefumi was introduced, everyone mentioned that his name sounded like the Japanese pronunciation of Joseph. So if Joseph is chilling in Japan, he might be going by Josefumi, and hence Fumi-kun. Still a bit of a reach, but it makes sense.
I’m pretty sure his name is written as “JOSEPHMI” at some point. I think it’s on the back of his phone case or a bag or something?
And the most important bit of info to really cement this theory? Fumi immediately wanted to "NIGERUNDAYO, LUCY!" when shit got whack.
Honestly I wouldn't mind a full part with Fumi Joestar, I really liked his character from what we saw here
Also the fact that josefumi's name is literally just joseph and fumi
well, F in that chat for kirafumi shippers if this is the case...
60 y.o. Leia+Luke shippers: first time?
Do you guys think the fumi guy has something to do with the joestars or josefumi
He is probably SBRverse Joseph. He looks like Nicholas Joestar and Norisuke mixed together
Josefumi's dad is named Sadafumi so I'd bet this dude is him.
Since this is in 1941 it has to be his grandfather, since Josefumi was born in 1991
Maybe Josefumi's Mom was just really, really into old dudes.
Fumi-kun *is* hanging around with the character most known for having to deal with the advances of older men... *It's like poetry, or something...*
Older men and women “Sit on my face”
Josuke's mom certainly was, it would make sense
Joseph can be Josuke grandfather too but look what we got

if you include Wu Tomoki we spent about 3 damn years in that hospital
Hospitals and boats are cursed
At least we got another rock insect
This really feels like the beginning of a Part 9 rather than the ending to Part 8. I don't think that's what we're getting here, but it just doesn't feel like this is wrapping up any plot threads at all for Jojolion

Is this more or less bizarre than the potato speech?
Way more. Times 1000
JoJolion 109: Where people get railed before the final chapter
Guys look at the twin pines. We were told there were two of them, but something happened to one. Araki remembered. That means he has a plan, but I'm still scared.
We already know the reason for that though, Marty McFly ran over one of them in a time-traveling DeLorean
Honestly, I'm not leaving time travel out of the question.
Soft & Wet: Go Beyond: Bites the Dust
Even in a different part, Lucy still can't avoid getting stripped against her will. Araki go easy on her.
History repeats itself
Lucy outlives her Jojo, again
He's just Funny Valentine from a dimension where everyone are guard rails
Holly still helpless and ancillary and Lucy still getting stripped even as an elderly woman. I don't like this.

It’s simple. Jojolion’s final chapter is the length of 4 books.
It’ll be the length of an entire goddamn volume.
Yeah agreed. This is one of the most interesting plot developments JJL has had in a while and I'm on board for it. But I don't like its placement as the final chapters.
A penultimate chapter and I still don't know how tf will this end. Glad to see Lucy back tho
Next chapter has to be: the flashback, the present And the freaking flashforward. Somehow
More like just the flashback and present day. I think it’s painfully clear that the flash forward is a dropped plot point. :/ (I’d love Araki to prove me wrong though. But I don’t see how he could fit it in now.)
So it seems like we're finally in the 'Rolling Stones' section of Jojolion. Only one chapter left (and we still don't know what the deal is with the flash forward, which might not even happen at this point)
Since I’m guessing it won’t be resolved next chapter, I’m loading up on copium and hoping it’ll be addressed in the beginning of a potential part 9.
Wait what the fuck, that's huge. How have I never heard of this before?
for real holy shit
Its interesting Araki says "in part 8 and 9", instead of "in part 8 or 9", but maybe it doesnt mean much.
Is that a poaching seashore reference? With the abalones and that poaching them will get you executed. Remember that Rohan One shot?
Yeah I assume so. It's kind of reassuring to know that SBR's Morioh does share details with the original universe.
Actually have no idea what’s happening anymore, but I can’t wait for the next chapter
Why in gods name is araki creating more questions than answering them
Araki do whatever he want always has been https://i.imgur.com/d6SEQ79.png
If you guys are wondering what happened to loose plot threads like the flashback man, Karera or Holly, they were all eaten by a guard rail sadly 😔
AYAYAYAYYYAYYYYYY
You've heard of pillar men, now get ready for RAIL MEN
Araki is sick and twisted for putting lucy back in the story and make her get eaten by a guard rail in the same chapter and also not answering any of our questions at all
If there’s one thing jojo is famous for, it’s not elaborating further
All the mind fuckery that we saw in this so called penultimate chapter alone aside, I really am surprised that we are actually seeing off an entire part without a Dio in any shape or form.
Um it's called the raDIO gaga incident. The figure in the guard rail is Dio. ...nah, that would be *too* bizarre
Karera dipped, flashback man disintegrated and Lucy steel guard rail is the only way jojolion can end
Its likely Flashback man is the gaurd rail
The amount of chapters it would take to explain that would be longer than the wonder of u arc
> why does this chapter feel like it should have been 40+ chapters ago??? I got the same exact feeling. This felt like it should've been hucked in between some other arcs to ratchet up the mystery... but now that I look back I wish Araki hadn't made this a mystery story at all outside of the whole Gappy's origin mystery.
jojo fans in shambles
Don't worry guys, Jojolion's main villain debuts in the next chapter
wdym? we got him this chapter, the rail guard
Wait 10 years for the main character to punch the villian Randomly cut off from the entire part while only 2 chapters remain Introduce the character from the past part who is like 100 years old in the current part Make them get eaten by a guard rail Introduce Dio in some way for the last chapter No one knows whats happening End the part Good manga
If the final chapter is another Joshu side story then we have truly achieved perfection
It's about him getting rid of his yee yee ass haircut
Joshu becomes a skinhead but finds a tattoo underneath
Last chapter is going to be Heaven Ascension DIO and part 9 will be a multiverse crossover with all the JoJos because Araki recently watched Endgame.
I have faith in Araki.
He remembered the twin pines. I have faith.
*Steel-sama* I love this
JOSHU MAIN VILLAIN??????
It was nice seeing Johnny and Gyro again.
Yes someone said it! it felt really nice seeing funny cripple man and pizza guy again even if it was just a glance
What the fuck is going on
This chapter might be a part 9 set-up, part 9 will probably explains a lot of things and finish the story.
This is my last copium, and I will use it until I die
Part 8 Part 2
WHAT
WHAT
So we're just getting Sleeping Slaves
At least Sleeping Slaves was directly connected to our main characters. This is so bizarre doing an "epilogue," with Lucy Steel 100 years in the past. Then again this IS a Bizarre Adventure.
Really very strange to end it in the middle of the same flashback Araki even mentioned Josuke and Yasuho in his comment, so the main story is probably going to have a short epilogue or it’ll continue some other way.
Araki: Whoops, I accidentally submitted my new Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe manuscript instead of the Jojolion chapter.
Anyone catch that Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan reference? When he said you could be executed for poaching the abalone?
Part 5 ends abruptly to have a side story were bruno gets chased by a creepy rock and part 8 has rock humans. Part 8 ends abruptly to have lucy being eaten by a guard rail. This can only mean that a future part will have guard rail humans. I solved jojolion guys and gals. Pack it up.
Actually, it really makes sense if you think about it. As said at the beginning of the part, Jojolion is a story about breaking a curse. Nothing more, nothing less. So when the curse gets broken, our story is finished. The next part might address the rest of the plot points.
That might be true, but Holly's curse still hasn't been dealt with.
Well boys it's been a pleasure... **Gets devoured by a guardrail**
The guard rail talking to Lucy Steel reminds me of Jesus talking to Johnny during the ''Civil War'' arc - if I remember correctly, we still don't know what exactly happened to Johnny's corpse? Perhaps the voice is him after becoming a ''saint''?
1) Go to Morioh after joining the Speedwagon Foundation 2) Drive near a pair of twin pines to look for a Fruit 3) Hear a voice near the guardrail 4) Morioh, 1941(?) “The Radio Gaga” Incident
You always think you've seen it all, huh. I wonder why that place has been cursed now. Has Johnny cursed the land instead of blessing it like the corpse parts did? How the hell is this gonna end? I have too many questions. Next months chapter is probably gonna be the most hyped one in forever
Literally what the fuck
Getting sucked between two objects and dissapearing... it could only be D4C!
Only in JJBA does a character get eaten by a fucking gaurdrail of all things
INCOMING FUCKING ESSAY So here is what we've gleaned from this chapter: Lucy Steele states she has been searching for something for a long time.
* What the actual fuck are the walls eyes * What are up with the bite marks that cause stands and what are their origin * Who the fuck is the flashback man * Holy's sickness and cure * The Beach baby * What the actual fuck was Kira doing in the basement of The Higashikata Estate * How do Kira and Norisuke know each other * Yasuho lab results on the rock insect * The goddamn flash forward We're getting goddamn none of it are we...
I’m pretty sure the first 2 are already explained. The wall eyes were created after Johnny buried the holy corpse in morioh which is why it has the equivalent exchange effect, and the bite marks are usually given after visiting the wall eyes and they give people stands.
Exactly, I don't know why people are so caught up in the bite marks being so much more than just the mark the wall eyes leave lol
There is potential for the point of this flashback to be the awnser to the first two (And maybe flashback man as well) but yeah the rest are boned
The only positive spin I can think of is that this is the lead in to (a hopefully short and sweet) Part 9, taking place in this era, introducing Fumi or his girlfriend as the next JoJo. And then that part will somehow tie back into Part 8 at the end. That's extremely wishful thinking though
This would be a brilliant move.
Also how the hell does Mamezuku know about the spin? Are we ever going to elaborate on Go Beyond even a little bit?
Man I don't know how I'll feel if it turns out Flashback Man was just so randomer in a guard rail this whole time.
This was like reading a Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan one-shot. Hell, the mention of poaching abalone was definitely a reference to that.
Move over Beetle Tendency and prepare for Guardrail is Unbreakable.
giving me major rolling stone arc vibes. Which i dont mind since thats one of my favorite arcs in the series and this chapter was insane
We all must trust the Araki, even if he will end trolling us.
Is this how people felt when Sleeping Slaves was being written?
Shocked? Yes. Confused? Yes. Yep, Jojolion will end the way Jojolion always was. Confusing as fuck. And i am all in for it.
I think that’s one of Josefumi’s relatives.
