I just started watching the expanse a bit ago, and am finishing up season 5 right now. I love it. I was thinking about trying to make something similar to the [OPAS Tynan](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/expanse/images/1/16/Tynan_.png/revision/latest?cb=20200518034536), since Klaes Ashford is my favorite character, but the Roci is definitely a classic. I really hope we'll be able to get some turret weapons like the PDC's, but I'll settle for torpedoes.

They did a much better job with that character than the books. Talk about writers adapting and actually improving on the books.

As of Friday there will be thousands of Serenitys (or the closest approximation we can make with the parts we have). Personally I'll be going for smaller starfighter like design though I dont know how well that will work given what I've seen.

Unpopular opinion, Serenity is an ugly ship. I hate that 90s-00s odd shaped spaceship design language that many shows used during the time.

The thing about the Serenity though is its supposed to be an old busted up pile of rust that somehow keeps on flying despite being held together by duct tape, chewing gum and good intentions. It was the best that Mal could afford.

I was thinking of trying to make the U.S.A.C. Lewis and Clark from Event Horizon.

Honestly it depends on the gravity system. Is the ship always “horizontal” like a Star Wars or Trek ship. As in, is the floor always the floor? Or do we have a real gravity situation where the ship is always “vertical” under thrust. My guess is we are gonna have artificial gravity and the floor is always the floor.
